Now Cinderella has a nice dress. It is gold and very pretty. Her shoes are made of glass. Cinderella is so beautiful. She can go to the party.

"You must leave the party before twelve oclock," says the fairy. "At 12:00 the magic will end."

"I will be back before twelve oclock," says Cinderella. She gets into the coach to go to the party.

The princes palace is full of people. They are all happy to be at the big party. All the girls want to marry the prince. Then Cinderella walks into the palace. "Who is she?" everyone asks. "Shes so beautiful," they say.

The prince sees Cinderella. He asks her to dance with him. All night long they dance and talk. The prince and Cinderella fall in love. At twelve oclock, Cinderella runs out of the palace.

Cinderella runs and loses one of her glass shoes. She must get home before twelve. She is late. She runs into the house. Now, she is wearing her old dress again.

The prince finds Cinderellas shoe. "I know this shoe. It belongs to that beautiful girl. Ill find her," he says. The next morning, he goes from house to house to find her. He goes to Cinderellas house. The two ugly stepsisters try on the shoe, but their feet are too big.

"Can I try it on?" asks Cinderella. "Yes," the prince says, so Cinderella tries the shoe on. It fits her foot. "I have found my princess," the prince says. Soon Cinderella and the prince get married. They live happily ever after.

When asked about work preference, different people will give different

answers. Some people like working with people. However, others prefer jobs which

mainly involve objects or machines.

Those people who have the first preference believe working with people

usually makes one feel interesting and efficient. In addition, they maintain

people can be inspired to bring forward new ideas by communicating or consulting

with those around them. However, still others have different preferences. In

their opinions, working with objects or machines can make one enjoy more peace

and quiet. Besides, they argue, under such peaceful conditions, one can do more

practical work, improve his skill and make technical renovations.

Weighing up these two kinds of work, I prefer working with people. For one

thing, I like to cooperate with others and work in a team. For another, although

现在虽已是冬季，但神龙小学并非落叶萧瑟的景象。

看！菁华楼侧有一棵高大的栾树，它有三层楼那么高，静静守卫着认真学习的同学们。它被矮冬青丛簇拥，巍然地屹立着。冬天，栾树的树冠上赤红黄绿，仿佛一幅五彩缤纷的画儿。叶子黄了，在北风中婀娜多姿地轻舞，翻个跟头，转圈，轻巧地落地。

最惹我们喜爱的还是它那如灯笼一般的果实了。果实呈荚状，形似铜钱，几片叶子合拢在一起，形成灯笼状，轻轻拉开叶片，里面包着的果实清晰可见。

阳光洒了下来，“灯笼”们簇拥在一起，高挂枝头。“啪”，不知是哪只调皮的“灯笼”，挣脱了“母亲”的怀抱，独自跳下树探险去了。

随着小“灯笼”往前走，我们惊喜地发现，什么时候栾树前面的小径上已铺满星星点点的落叶，踩着它们，仿佛置身五彩的星空……

My favorite Sports is basketball. It looks so cool in TV that I was crazy

about those basketball stars ever since I was little.

Basketball requires speed, height and skills. I run, jump, switch, and try

to hit! All parts of my body are exercised in this sport. I feel that I’m like

wind flying in the playground for my goal, which makes me feel so GREat!

Basketball needs quick reaction and decision. When chance comes, it may

disappear in the next second. I should keep an eye watching as an eagle, decide

and judge quickly as a leopard, and run for it as a wolf.

Further more, basketball is a sports more than just exercising, It needs

team work. No one can play himself. A team should work together. So I learn to

cooperate with others in this game. I should understand what my teammate doing

and what he needs me to do for him. On the other side, I should learn to show my

teammate what I need. At the same time, I need to keep an eye on the whole game,

knowing how is the situation of our team and how is the other team. It involved

more cooperation and strategy.

I played basketball more for about 5 years now. I make many good friends

throught this sports. It is proud to win honor for my team and my school. Also I

My father, Winston Churchill, began his love affair with painting in his 40s, amid disastrous circumstances. As First Lord of the Admiralty in 1915, he was deeply involved in a campaign in the Dardanelles that could have shortened the course of a bloody world war. But when the mission failed, with great loss of life, Churchill paid the price, both publicly and privately. He was removed from the admiralty and effectively sidelined.

Overwhelmed by the catastrophe — “I thought he would die of grief,” said his wife, Clementine —he retired with his family to Hoe Farm, a country retreat in Surrey. There, as Churchill later recalled, “The muse of painting came to my rescue!”

Wandering in the garden one day, he chanced upon his sister-in-law sketching with watercolors. He watched her for a few minutes, then borrowed her brush and tried his hand. The muse had cast her spell!

Churchill soon decided to experiment with oils. Delighted with this distraction from his dark broodings, Clementine rushed off to buy whatever paints she could find.

For Churchill, however, the next step seemed difficult as he contemplated with unaccustomed nervousness the blameless whiteness of a new canvas. He started with the sky and later described how “very gingerly I mixed a little blue paint on the palette, and then with infinite precaution made a mark about as big as a bean upon the affronted snow-white shield. At that moment the sound of a motor car was heard in the drive. From this chariot stepped the gifted wife of Sir John Lavery .”

“ ‘Painting!’ she declared. ‘But what are you hesitating about? Let me have the brush — the big one.’ Splash into the turpentine, wallop into the blue and the white, frantic flourish on the palette, and then several fierce strokes and slashes of blue on the absolutely cowering canvas.”

At that time, John Lavery— a Churchill neighbor and celebrated painter— was tutoring Churchill in his art. Later, Lavery said of his unusual pupil: “Had he chosen painting instead of statesmanship, I believe he would have been a great master with the brush.”

In painting, Churchill had discovered a companion with whom he was to walk for the greater part of the years that remained to him. After the war, painting would offer deep solace when, in 1921, the death of the mother was followed two months later by the loss of his and Clementine’s beloved three-year-old daughter, Marigold. Battered by grief, Winston took refuge at the home of friends in Scotland, finding comfort in his painting. He wrote to Clementine: “I went out and painted a beautiful river in the afternoon light with crimson and golden hills in the background. Alas I keep feeling the hurt of the Duckadilly (Marigold’s pet name).”

Historians have called the decade after 1929, when the Conservative government fell and Winston was out of office, his wilderness years. Politically he may have been wandering in barren places, a lonely fighter trying to awaken Britain to the menace of Hitler, but artistically that wilderness bore abundant fruit. During these years he often painted in the South of France. Of the 500-odd canvases extant, roughly 250 date from 1930 to 1939.

Painting remained a joy to Churchill to the end of his life. “Happy are the painters,” he had written in his book Painting as a Pastime, “ for they shall not be lonely. Light and color, peace and hope, will keep them company to the end of the day.” And so it was for my father.

一年里有春夏秋冬四个季节，春很美好，万物复苏，鸟语花香。夏很美好，柳绿花红，树木茂盛。秋也很美好，硕果累累，满怀金黄。但是冬呢，其实冬是我最喜欢的季节，很多人会觉得不理解，冬天那么冷那么冷，估计没有一个人会喜欢它。但是的我就是喜欢冬。因为——再寒冷的冬季也有暖意可寻。

喜欢冬天的太阳，暖和却不闷人，舒服却不刺眼，那可能是四个季节里最好的太阳吧。因为冬的冷，所以冬天的太阳是那么的暖。

而世界好像也是如此，因为世界的冰冷，所以那些很少的暖意也是凸显的那么的暖。可不论如何，却也是有的啊，只要有一点，哪怕只有微弱的一丝，世界却也是有救的。而我们，及世界上血还是热的人们，还在行动，用温暖解救世界。

我喜欢看新闻，所以我知道这个世界，这个社会真的很冷漠。在网络上，一些键盘侠在不知道别人完整故事之前，总喜欢把只是知道的只言片语，加上个人的揣测和自以为是，添油加醋的到处造谣传播，因为一个网络，害的人还少吗？这是多么冷漠的情景啊。而在现实中，“碰瓷”“小黄车损坏”各地频繁发生的校园斗殴等等这些事还少吗？而这些，都是世界的冷漠，社会的冷漠，人心的冷漠。

但在怎么冷漠，却是有温暖存在的，我确实喜欢看新闻，但比起那些恶劣的情况，我是真的喜欢去关注一些好的，温暖的，让世界好起来的新闻和事件的。我喜欢看一些自发组织的慈善组织，给环卫工人在冬天送上关怀和围巾，一些节目为山区孩子的捐书。还有身边一些善意的事件，真的，就像是冬天的太阳一样，暖到心里的感觉。

那些纯洁无污染的心在多一些多一些吧。我祈愿。

在怎么寒冷的冬天也会有暖意，只是冬天太冷了，总是盖住了暖意让人们无法察觉，所以啊世界确实冷，但暖也是真的存在的。只是还要多一些再多一些，越多越好。

Tomorrow is March 8th. It is Womens Day, so I want to give my mother a surprise. First I am going to the supermarket and buy something , such as vegetables , fruits and some beautiful flowers. Then I will come back home to clean the house and do some cooking. When Mum comes back from work, she will be really excited. She will say that I am a nice boy and have grown up. I will be happy, too. I think Ill help my mother more in the future.

In summer I usually get up early in the morning to exercise. Raising my head, I see the vast space in the sky. There are fish scales clouds, cotton-like clouds, sheep like clouds and dark blue clouds like a lake. The clouds are moving silently, changing constantly in shape.

Looking to the east, the sun is gradually showing her face, as if realising shes being watched. She blushes in shyness. Climing up the tree and over the house, the suns rays become radiant. It hurts the eye to watch it. A dark cloud tries to throw its shadow over the sun and shroud her in its shade. But the suns rays are irresistably bright. They cannot be covered.

Soon the trees, the houses, the river, in fact, everything is bathed in the golden sun. The almighty sun is generous and the source of energy and the symbol ot truth and knowledge. No wonder an many people sing in praise of her.

Maybe the stars means the dream,I love the stars in the blue sky,Its always bright and pretty,and always take me to a beautiful dream.

I really like to look at the little stars,when I look at them,I feel very relax and happy.The stars are quiet and just like full of beautiful magic, Its amazy.

Just like wonders,the stars in the deapiest blue sky is so pretty,"one , two, three, four, five, six, seven……"there has so many so many stars in the sky,I really cant count it.

When I was so lonely,I will look at the sky,and told the little stars my little secrets,told the little stars my dream,and told them so many so many interesting things,then I will feel less lonely.

冬日是锻炼身体的最佳季节。这天，我和妈妈心血来潮，决定来一次长跑比赛。这次比赛的路程是绕小区跑一圈，谁先到家门口就算谁赢，输的人由胜者任意处罚。我和妈妈商定了一下，决定由爸爸来当裁判，比赛前有5分钟的热身活动。

我脱掉棉袄，轻装上阵。一旁的妈妈静静地看着我卖力地做热身运动，抱着双臂，一幅志在必得的样子。我心想：“妈妈，别以为我年纪小就跑不过你，等着瞧！”“时间到！”裁判喊道，“各就位！”我和妈妈走到起跑线后，裁判大喊：“预备——”我身子向前，双手握拳，蓄势待发，一旁的妈妈也准备完毕。

裁判看了看，随后又喊道：“跑！”一听到口令，我便似离弦之箭飞奔向前，刺骨的寒风呼呼地刮着，可我却丝毫感觉不到。俗话说：“知己知彼，才能百战百胜。”我向旁瞟了一眼，只见妈妈离我还有半米的距离，我加快速度，向前一冲，耶！我赢了。看着爸妈敬佩的目光，我开心极了！

已经有无数个人，无数次的告诉我，它不是南山，是南岳衡山。但我仍然习惯叫它南山，江南的南，南山。

他是高大的南山，是雄浑的南山。冬日，雪已覆盖了天与地。眼下白色的一片，让人不由得想伸出舌尖，让那晶莹的白色微粒融化在我的唇齿间，冬风刮过脸庞，雪花斜飞着，周围披着白色的山群环绕着南山。湘江，也只有我的小指指甲盖大小。南山的雄伟，被这一围群山，衬托得淋漓尽致。

他是江南的南山，是淡雅的南山。夏日，江畔的灯光零零碎碎地晃动着。傍晚，太阳还未沉尽，若有一名书生，背手一卷，立在船头呤诵着什么千古佳句，岂不是一幅山水佳作？太阳追到山后了，漆黑的夜色中，南山却发出一种近似青的墨绿。水声潺潺，山影重重。

他是水乡的南山，清新的南山。春日，手抚在溪水间细腻的沙子上，水花顽皮地从我指间蹿过，捎来了一丝沁人心脾的清凉。风雨走廊里，我默默地撑着伞，淅淅沥沥的雨拍在琉璃瓦上，山间的小溪泛起的涟漪。枝桠间，喊不出名字的鸟儿和着雨声，水声，哼着小调。已记不清楚，有多久，没有见过如此清新的春雨，如此清澈的小溪了。

他是青色的南山，是生命的南山。细藤趴在岩石上，疏懒地晒着太阳，青黑色的蛇缠在樟上，安详地睡着。我一步一步登上通向山顶的台阶，生怕踩脏了一株草，一朵花，一只小蛙。翠绿色，那是满山的生灵。

南岳，衡山，在我心中早已不是南岳衡山，而是南山，江南的南，南山。

我的家乡有一座山——南山。那里的风景可美了！

春天，这里的树木发出嫩芽。小草也探出头来，晃来晃去的，好像在说：“我终于长高了，我终于长高了！”微风吹拂着那些嫩嫩、小小的花瓣儿，使她们的香气弥漫整个南山。

夏天，小松鼠在茂盛的树上蹦蹦跳跳，一会儿跑到这棵树上，一会儿又跑到那棵树上，好像在寻找自己的家。突然，天空中下起了一阵银珠似的急雨，让南山变成了雨中仙境。

不知不觉，秋天到了。枯黄的树叶已经覆盖了整个南山。从远处看，就像金山一样美丽。小动物们也开始准备冬眠了，它们正在寻找食物，储存起来，好让冬天吃个饱。

冬天到了，雪花把南山变成了银白的世界。厚厚的积雪像白色的地毯，踏上去软软的，非常舒服。小松鼠坐在树枝上，抬头望着天空，看看春天是否快要来临。

There are many rules in our school.

From Monday to Friday，we have to get to school before 7：00 in the morning.

We must wear school uniforms，and I think it is good for us because uniforms can

make us look smart. We must listen to our teachers carefully in class and finish

our homework after school. We are not allowed to use mobile phones in class. I

think the rules are very strict but useful，and we should follow them. However，we

have so much homework that we have little free time to do what we love to

do.

In my opinion，we should have more free time to take part in all kinds of

activities and improve our abilities.
