There is only one word which can describe my childhood. The word is“carefree”that so many todays kids do not understand， although they have delicious food， beautiful clothes and pretty toys.

My parents never forced me to do anything. I recited a lot of poems and fine articles， but not for performing before their friends and our relatives， just because I enjoyed rhythms and words. So I never considered them a burden。 Later， when I was in the primary school， the homework was very few and easy to do， and I was never asked to be the top students.

Nor did my parents stop me from doing anything. After I finished my homework， I could stay outside for a whole afternoon to do whatever I liked. 跳完火堆，我们随着人流走向大街，一路看花炮，一路放花炮。来到一处比较空旷的地方，我迫不及待地拿出许愿灯，小心翼翼地打开，先把它吹鼓，然后让爸爸、妈妈帮着提住上面，我动作麻利地系好固体燃料，拿着打火机点了起来，不一会儿燃料慢慢地燃着了。妈妈说：“先别急，等一会儿再放。”我们轻轻地扶着许愿灯等了一会儿，许愿灯开始慢慢上升，我们不约而同地丢开许愿灯，合起双手许下了自己的心愿。

望着慢慢上升的许愿灯，渐渐地离我们远去，闪闪烁烁的光芒好像天空中的小星星，对着我们眨眼睛，好像在说：我一定会实现你们的愿望!
