This afternoon my school held an english-speaking contest in the multi-function classroom. the contest was named "challenging the future"i was present at the contest as an audience.

I learned a lot from their speech. they had different plans for the future. but as they challenged the future, they had something in common,that is, they all made full use of the present. the present is the base of the future.

After the contest, i knew i needed a plan for my future as well. i must grasp my present time to realize my plan. i wont idle away the valuable time any more. im determined to study hard and improve myself. i will prepare to challenge my future.

今天下午我们学校在多媒体教室举行了一次英语竞赛。比赛主题是“挑战未来”,作为观众我出席了比赛。

从他们的演讲中我学到了很多。他们对未来有不同的打算。但当他们挑战未来时,他们有一些共同之处,那就是,他们都充分利用现在。现在是未来的基础。

比赛过后,我知道我需要对我的未来拟定一个计划。我必须抓住现在的时间实现我的计划。我不会浪费我的宝贵时间。我决心努力学习,提高自己。我将准备挑战我的未来。

How to adapt youself to college life

There are obvious differences between high school life and college life. First,college students will live in the dormitory with classmates who come from various places, and who may have different living habits. Second,college teachers ,instead of explaning in detail how to solve every problem, might only tell different approaches to the problem, and leave students to study and solve problems independently. Finally, in college,there is more free time for students to spend on.

However how should the college freshman adapt himself to these differeces. First of all, he should learn to be tolerant and consider more for others,which is necessary for group living. Moreover he should take active part in collective activities and make more communication with classmates and teachers. It will help he be smoothly integrated with your new environment. Besides,as to study,he should develop a good habit of self-teaching and learn to arrange study independently. Of course,it may take a freshman some while to become accustomed to the study and life in college. However, we all have to accept constant challenges of new things in our life. To conclude,college students should try to adapt himself to college life as soon as possible, so as to take full advantages of their precious college time.

Yesterday, after a long meeting in the class, all the students had been told about the safe issues, then the summer vacation finally came. All of us felt so happy and liked a free bird, rushing to home quickly. I had been looking forward to this holiday for such a long time, I really needed to take some rest after studying for a semester. I have made some plans for my summer vacation. First, I wanted to spend some time to stay with my grandparents. I miss them all the time and they always tell me to visit them when I have the time. My grandma will cook the delicious food for me. Second, I want to read some books I like, such as the fiction books. I don’t have much time to read fiction books because I have to focus on my study. Summer vacation provides the time to adjust myself.

昨天,在班上开了长时间的会议后,所有的学生被告知关于安全问题,然后暑假终于到了。我们都感到很快乐,就像自由的鸟儿,飞奔回家。我一直在期待这个长时间的假期,我真的需要休息了，在学习了一个学期后。我已经为我的暑假做了一些计划。首先,我想花一些时间陪我的祖父母。我想念他们,他们总是告诉我,我有时间的时候就去探望他们。我奶奶会做美味的食物给我。其次,我想读一些我喜欢的书籍,比如小说书。我没有太多时间去阅读小说书,因为我必须专注于我的学习。暑假提给我供了时间来调整自己。

未来，是毫无瑕疵的梦幻；未来，是科技驾驭的航船；未来，是未知的，而过去是一定的，记忆就是证据；未来，是无法预测的，而正是因为无法预测，才更会让人充满期待，不知道未来的生活将会是怎样的呢？

今天，我坐在书桌前，脑子里想着：未来的生活会是什么样子的呢？我绞尽脑汁，想象不出来。于是，在昏昏沉沉中，我睡着了……

我睁开眼睛，我看到了什么？我穿着特别的外星衣，下了床，来到了餐桌前，我看见爸爸妈妈穿着和我一样的外星衣。我在餐桌旁坐了下来，吃完早餐，我就去上学了。乘着爸爸的飞行船，我很快来到了学校。学校的大门旁边站着一个智能机器人，他手中端着一个银色的盘子，上面放了许多的小卡片。如果你要去哪个班级，只要从盘子里拿出相应的小卡片，刷卡后，传送带会将你送到你想去的班级。上了一天的课，觉得很疲倦，想回家的话，走路就太麻烦了，我们可以乘坐空中校车回家。回到家，我从书包中拿出作业本，开始做作业。如果写错了字，橡皮擦就会自动飞过来，帮你擦掉写错的字……

我正想着，忽然听到有人在叫我，然后我就被妈妈叫醒了。啊，原来这一切只是一个梦啊！虽然只是一个梦，但是我真希望这个梦能变成现实。我想，未来的世界一定会比梦中的更加美好，也更会让人出乎意料。

很多时候，匆匆的忙碌着生活中的琐事。脚步一直走得格外匆忙，不过细细想来，却只不过是无尽的空洞与茫然，无措与迷惑。走得再匆忙，陌路通向何处?似乎很多人都不能解答诸如此类的问题，所以也就常常得过且过地掩盖这个本质问题。

当你匆匆地为着自己的生活，为着自己追求的梦想，为着自己的毕生信仰而劳累地奔波着，不妨先停一停，看一看脚下的足迹，尽管都洒满了汗水，但是否真的如你所愿，那么踏实、那么自然、那么实在?劳累永远是和匆忙奔波成正比例的，但不一定会和收获有着相同的比例。踏踏实实的走好每一步，也许才是明智的选择。

有些时候，我们都莫名劳累，也许是走得才匆忙，连喘息的机会也成为奔波年华的祭奠。回眸过去，匆忙行走似乎已经占据生命的大多数。但是，正如我上文所说，每一个脚印是否如你所愿?也许有些脚印踩在庸散的泥潭，数量可观得令人膛目结舌，可那只不过是愚弄人的表象。也许有些脚印结实地记录在水泥路上，可不一定都踏踏实实。

试问，如果就一直这样子走完你的人生，带着无尽的匆忙，像个过客一般偶遇尘世，你愿意么?

骤然询问自己，也就匆匆写了随笔。杂乱的思绪，尽管零散，但潜意识还是明智地告诉自己，这样子的过客人生不是自己想要的。自己想要的生活，既不是比尔盖茨一样华丽丽的富贵人生，也不是李白一样怀才不遇的多愁酒命，更不是曹操刘备煮酒论天下的鸿鹄大志宿命。只是渴望造物主，能否赐予我简单而舒心的生活。

花一些文墨来简单说说自己的理念吧，简单而舒心，五个平凡的汉字，构造着匆匆旅途的唯一慰藉与期盼。这种平凡得近乎庸人的思想，也造就了平凡的人生与宿命。也正是这一点，注定了我只是芸芸众生中平凡的尘埃。简单，不想在人生的漫漫旅途留下太多的杂念，留下多余而不堪的污物，可以像一弧悠悠清水一般的洁净，也可以像七里香一样的纯粹与自然。不奢望，也不愿意拥有梦幻乌托邦一样的错综岁月。因为我想在走完尘世旅途之后，可以留下最美好，最永恒的念想，若是留下一些不堪回首的记忆，怕是对不住上帝让自己在尘世走过一趟的恩赐。舒心，适合自己的就是最惬意，最幸福。怎需要拥有天文数字一样的波斯毛毯来包裹自己脆弱得寒冷的心，怎需要数量可观的财产来安抚自己浮躁的心，怎需要阿谀奉承的话语来填满自己空洞的心?太多的世俗，蒙蔽了最纯粹最自然的原始心境，也迷糊了对人生的明确认识。

泛泛而谈地叙说“简单而舒心”，相信也没有阅读这篇文章的价值与意义。对于自己而言，能够在人生旅途一直怀揣着文学的梦想，一直并肩梦想地慢慢走下去，走好每一个脚印，做好每一件事情，这也就是自己想要的，也是自己努力的。不幻想某日走了狗屎运突发横财，不奢望上帝给我安排一位伯仲，不期盼一炮而红，转折人生，踏实地走下去，就是毕生价值的体现。

简单而舒心，啰嗦的重复着自己的理念，自然地怀揣着梦想，走完这一段在人生的长路。

2050年，一个全新的科技生活开始了，科技生活是什么样的呢?现在，就让我们一起去看看吧!

今天，我准备去参加一个朋友的生日party，展开随身携带的迷你、轻便、隐形的私家车，飞驶5分钟，便到了朋友家里。奇怪，在路上怎么没看到我的行踪?不要好奇，因为现在在宽阔的马路上，没有一辆汽车，只有自由自在的行走的路人，这是为什么呢?请你带上专门配制的眼镜，抬头看一看天空吧(注意，不要被吓坏了哦)：天上全是汽车，真可谓是 “车山车海”啊!你一定会问;为什么那么多汽车，要带上专门配制的眼镜才能看得见呢?为什么车会飞起来呢?我来告诉你吧：为了不影响人们的生活，每辆车子上都配备了一双隐形的“翅膀”，只要按一下按钮，“翅膀”就会伸出来，升上天空自由行驶。那么，天空不就被废气污染吗?不会的，因为未来的汽车用的都是节能环保油，排出来的气体经过处理后都变成了空气净化气，这样空气不但不会被污染，还能得到更好的净化。汽车还配有道路帮助器，在你累了或不想驾驶时，只要按一下按钮，它就会蹦出一位驾驶员，你告诉他去哪儿，他就会驾驶到哪儿。这样就是再多的汽车也不用害怕会有环境污染、交通堵塞、交通事故或找不到路发愁了。

我家的家庭设施都是智能型的，按摩、做饭、打扫卫生、洗衣等等都由机器人来完成。你看，我刚从班上回来，感觉有些疲惫，按下按钮，就会出现一个机器人，按我的需求帮我按摩，有感情地读书给我听，消除我的疲劳。我感觉饿了，再按下按钮，不到三分钟，可口的饭菜就端上来了。我的家里永远都是一尘不染，让人赏心悦目的，这些都是由人性化的机器人来完成的，它可以按照我的要求整理好房间，打扫好卫生......

未来的笔就更独特了。你看，在我用它写作业时，如果写错了，它就会自动帮助我把写错的字擦去或打上标记，让我重新写，如果又写错了，它就引导我的思路，让我做出正确的答案。而且它的笔芯永远不会用完，它会不断地产生，让我不用为笔坏了或没笔芯了烦神。最重要的一点是它可以改掉我做作业时的很多坏毛病，比如写字马虎了，它就纠正我的不认真态度;做作业走神了，它就用它的独特方式引导我;做作业粗心了，它就强化我的作业正确率……所以用这样的笔做我的好帮手，可以让我做作业效率不断提高，而且成绩越来越好!

夜幕降临，我早早地上了床，进入了甜甜的梦乡中。

一觉醒来，揉了揉惺忪的双眼，睁开眼一看。哇！我的房间四周都布满了各种植物，都散发出清新的香气，我大口大口地吸着，感觉心旷神怡。走到日历前，发现今天竟是2222年！我顾不上惊讶，洗漱完毕后，便匆匆地走出家门，映入眼帘的是一棵大榕树，挺拔的树干周围还长着一棵棵小树。回头看看家，竟是一幢大别墅，上面长满了爬山虎，给人一种舒适的感觉。坐上停靠在一旁的小型飞船，启动自动导航系统，环绕厦门市一周。飞船在空中缓缓行驶，我低下头，俯视厦门美景。天呐！这简直是绿色的世界！无论任何房屋的周围都长满了各种奇形怪状的绿色植物。一阵风吹来，空气是那么清新，是人飘飘欲仙。要知道，这如此清新的空气，只有在老家的竹林中才可能嗅到呢！

一路前行，不时有一两架飞船飞过，飞船上竟也放了一两盆花儿，散发出怡人的芳香。到环岛路了，路况并没有改变，可周围的植物确是增多了不少，原本30米才有一棵大树，可现在每隔10米便有一棵苍天大树，大树之间还种了许多小草，那嫩绿的小草随风飘舞，十分美丽。

这时，天空中出现了一幢大房子，出于好奇心，我驾驶着飞船进入了。下了飞船，我小心翼翼的走进大门，哇！这比万石植物园还美上100倍呢！各种各样的花儿长在墙面上，地上布满了小草。更有多至50棵的大树长在茂密的草中，郁郁葱葱，就像走进了原始森林一般。每一棵树上都有介绍关于它的名字、年龄、习性、适合中在何处……

突然，从树中走出一位老者，他向我讲述了为何这世界上会种满了大树。原来，早在2100年，由于人类的贪婪与愚昧，把大树全都砍光了，地球危在旦夕。终于，各国总统偶然发现了地球即将毁灭，便立马召开了全球大会。经讨论，全国人民即将开始了地球保卫战！

人类为了继续生存下去，开始大量种植树木，人们把所有的花草树木的种子抢购一光，在自己的家中，家旁种上了许许多多地树木。最终，在2120年，地球的绿色植物从2100年的100棵，直涨到如今的211695亿万棵绿色植物！地球总算能继续供人类生存了……

听完老者的话，我猛地从梦中惊醒，发现现在依旧是20xx年。呼，若是人类不及时开始地球保卫战的话，那么地球岂不是早就毁灭了吗？所以，我想在此大声呼吁：“一定要好好保护环境，别再破坏绿色植被了！
