在我五六岁时，爷爷是个十足的大闲人，常常去山上砍几棵适合做木料的大树，“吭哧吭哧”地做一堆小板凳。我总是一个个地把它们排好，然后钻到中间去，想象自己就是电视上那位相声演员刘箐一般，恶趣味十足地模仿着。路过的奶奶打着趣儿说：“长大以后可别忘记给奶奶签名哟!”我总是得“呵呵呵”地笑上一会儿。

傍晚，滚圆滚圆的太阳早已不如中午那般炎热，爷爷走着猫步似的，背着个袋，大火球把他的背影照得十分瘦小。如果那时我屁颠屁颠地跟着，定要腾出一只手帮爷爷托着一部分。几百米开外，是爷爷年轻时种的一片“世外桃源”，那儿是我在秋天最爱去的地方。在那里，你一觉睡醒，打开窗户，映入眼帘的便是金色与枫叶红，走在密密麻麻的树丛间，脚下踏着的，是犹如金子一般的落叶。

我常常跑到杮子树下，趁爷爷不注意，偷偷摘了几只刚刚成熟不久，还带着点儿涩味的小杮子，咬了口，那股涩味就在我的嘴里淡淡散开。转眼间，那颗才被我咬了一口的小杮子便扔在了草地上。不一会儿，我又跑到其它树边摘杮子吃，把脸蛋儿弄的脏兮兮的。

不过杮子树边有细细流泉，从被水打磨的光滑亮丽的石头缝里穿过。我把手伸下去，摸到的是那凉丝丝的水流。有那么一两次，爷爷一看见我偷吃杮子，就扛起一边儿的锄头追着打我，无奈之下，我只好利用自己熟悉地形的优势，一路跑回了家，边跑还时不时回头望，看看爷爷有没有追过来。

回到家，奶奶一见我这仗势，便知道我又闯祸了，连忙拿了个冰镇西瓜递给我吃。“你呀，真是一天不惹事就浑身不舒服。”过了许久，爷爷才浑身汗味地回到家，一看见我这么舒坦，便又要过来抽我，奶奶只好劝罢：“今年阳光充足，收成好，就由了这调皮的娃子吧!”

那个承载着我满满的童年回忆的故乡，虽有一年未归，但那片小树林，我一辈子也忘记不了。
