Recently, I have been reading a book named Communication Arts. In this

book, the author Doctor Li introduces many methods to communicate with others

successfully and tells readers why everyone should be a polite person. My

favorite sentence in this book is “Everyone has potential, and everyone can

determine your own future by developing positive psychological, mastering

communication arts and showing your personality charm. In that way, you can have

a wonderful life!”

During whole sections, this book tells us human should live in a large

group, since people can’t solve all problems by their own. For that matter,

human beings should learn a series of manners to deal with any situation which

might happen wherever and whenever. After that, Doctor Li makes a point that

people need to realize how to resolve disagreements between friends, families or

colleagues. There always appears this kind of situation in social life, so it’s

important to understand how to settle it. Finally he teaches us that

communication techniques not only reflect in normal talk but also within body

languages.

In each part of the book, the author takes a large number of examples in

daily life to confirm his points. These examples in daily life are easy to

understand and accept.

After reading the book, I find many shortages of my communication skills. I

used to lack of patience when I talk to others, even got mad at them. This was

impolite and might destroy relationships between my friends and me. Therefore I

would try my best to improve myself and be welcome.

from the sixteenth of january to the seventh of february is our winter holiday。 i think everybody did a lot of things in the winter holiday。 but i didn’t。 let you to listen to my story of winter holiday。

mother. He decided to help his mother do some housework. After school he went to

a shop to buy some food on his way home.

我帮爷爷建了微信号，教他如何进行视频通话，如何发消息，又为爷爷设置了一个声音特别大的手机铃声。爷爷自己试了试视频通话，一脸兴奋的对我说，真的可以看到你们哎，那高兴的样子，像拿到新玩具的孩童。

爷爷很小心地问我：“打电话是要钱的，用这个视频跟你们说话，要不要钱呐？”

妈妈向我挤了挤眼，我立刻会意，大声说：“这个不要钱，您放心用。”爷爷就拿着手机翻来覆去地看，笑得合不拢嘴。

我们回到城里，常跟爷爷视频通话。爷爷那边总是接得异常快。后来听邻居说，爷爷只要听到手机一响，有多么大的事儿都先放下，接电话第一重要，生怕我们挂断了……我眼睛不禁有些湿润。

It has been witnessed that since the coming of the cell phone, it has been developed so fast, thanks to the high technology, today, the function of cell phone improves a lot, some even can equal to the computer. People like to change the cell phone, because they want to have more function, but some teenagers lose wise mind on the road of changing cell phone. I enjoy singing very much. While singing, my heart as well as my body is

joyful. When Im happy, I often sing out to share my happiness with others. I

also sing out to pour out my bad feelings when Im upset.

I like pop music most, because I want to follow the trend. I prefer soft

music to rock music. Since we may be very tired after a long days work, we need

a rest very much. Perhaps soft music is the best recreation for us. My favorite

pop stars are JJ and Jay Chou. They always make a wonderful performance on the

stage. Their songs are so charming. I admire them very much.

Since the first day of my winter vacation, I’ve decided to make it a

valuable and enjoyable one. I made a plan to finish my homework within the first

week, and after days of hard working, I actually got all my assignments done a

day earlier. I am pretty proud of myself for not —as usual —hang out with my

In the rest of my winter vacation, I made up my mind to improve my reading
