I have a very cheerful holiday in “The National Day”. My parent and I went to Shanghai about nine days ago. We got there by plane, I think that shanghai must be a very big city, and there are a lot of tall buildings. First we went into the hotel named”chuang ye”. And we saw the tall big building “Shanghai TV Tower”, at nine in the evening, we got back to the hotel. The second day, we visited Zhouzhuang. It’s very beautiful and the air was good, I bought my favorite toy : weapons. I like them very much. Shanghai’s food tasted good. Today we are very happy and tired, so we slept early in the night. This summer vacation， however， was not spent entirely in seeking fun. As a second-year senior student I had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. In other words， I must find time to study， too. So I divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

With the gloomy prospect of returning to school, many students could suffer from post-holiday syndrome, which refers to a general feeling of depression before returning to campus life, which is caused by irregular lifestyles during the holiday. Symptoms include fatigue, lack of appetite and concentration, irritability and a feeling of helplessness.

Various reasons can account for it. But most important of all, a large number of students tend to overindulge themselves in eating, merrymaking and playing around during the holidays, which makes it difficult to adjust to their routine study schedule and life pace on the campus.
