Desire for No Examination

I have a lot of aspirations。 But what I desire most is to have no examinations。

We are always told that examinations aim to check what we have learned。 But I dont think so。 Examination is not the best way， especially in the primary school。 Examinations， composition examinations in particular， will bring students， teachers and parents a great deal of pressure。 To cope with the examination， some students just remember the model essays by rote。 It will do no good to the improvement of writing。

During the winter holiday, I was very happy because of the Chinese new year

and other reasons. During the holiday, my parents and I went back to my hometown

in the countryside in Hebei Province. I had not come back for several years, so

that I was so surprised to find that great changes had taken place in this small

village in the past years. Almost every family in the village had color TV set

and some of them had computers. Many families had their houses newly built or

rebuilt. Previously,could be seen everywhere, but now they have taken on an

Nowadays, we can often hear the discussion whether buying cars should be encouraged. Some people suggest that we should buy cars. But others claim that driving cars is not a wise idea. As far as I am concerned, I am in favor of the latter opinion.

To begin with, there are few parking lots, so the streets are made narrower by the cars parked along the roads. For example, my father could not find any places to park when we went to the supermarket.

It is known to us all that some students cheat in examinations at school.

As students, we often take examinations at school, but sometimes we have too many examinations which are too difficult for us. On the other hand, some of us are lazy and dont work hard at their lessons. So when taking examinations, they sometimes cheat in order to get better results to please their parents and teachers.

In my opinion, it is wrong to cheat in examinations because it breaks the rules of schools. We students should be honest and try to get good results by studying hard instead of cheating in examinations. Whats more, we should improve our study methods and get well prepared for examinations.

My winter vacation

During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. I wake up 11 oclock Am everyday, after a washing, I have a good lunch with my parents. Next I play computer games till the time to have supper. After have dinner. I go on playing till 2 oclock Am, and then go to sleep with tired. This is one dull day of my winter vacation.

But I havent bored all the time. Sometimes I read the books, sometime I listen to the music or the radio in the bed, because it was very cold outside and snowy all the day. It’s normal that we all have our own interests and it’s various from people to people. Some people may be interested in sports and some others in music or literature. 环保是我们每个人要做的事情，使我们每个人的责任，你一旦生活在地球，你就要保护环境，因为我们要为我们的子孙后代着想，给他们一个好的身活环境，而不是去破坏环境，危害我们的子孙。

保护环境是我们的责任，而有的人却说：这是一个重任，我们是个小人物，这应该给大人物去办，我们不破坏就行了。面对这种说法，很多人都同意，而我就反对。其实，环保不止是大人物的事情，还是我们这些市民的事情，而他们就去治理大事，我们就治理我们的事情，管好自己的小事，因为环保是从一件小事做起的。

保护环境其实是一件小事，不扔一件垃圾、不砍一棵树、不用一次性用品……也许，你有条件的话，就回收一件垃圾、种一棵树、再次用一件物品……这都是保护环境的行为，就是如此简单，不用你做更难的事情了，环保只是这么简单。
