The past years have seen the huge development of higher education in China and in contemporary society, it becomes a trend for universities to be ranked according to certain standards each year.Meanwhile, an increasing number of people deem it rather convenient to acquire information about quality of some universities.Searching the Internet, people can notice several editions of ranks very year.

A number of individuals favor this ranking because of its advantages.To begin with, without these ranks, it is impossible for people to make a direct comparison between different colleges.In addition, it is this ranking that enables China to build up a system of assessing higher education and to enhance its overall development.Even so, others hold the opposite view that university ranking carries some doubts.First, ranking all universities means a great amount of time and human resources; however, the quality and authority is not as satisfactory as expected.Second, what worries many experts is that some colleges may focus too much eyesight on ranking itself, ignoring the needs of students.By and large, the advantage derived the annual university ranking far outweigh the disadvantages.

An effective ranking will bring colleges motivation, arouses their enthusiasm to strive, and helps China to enhance higher education.However, it is advisable for this ranking to be scientific, practical and impartial.

今天我们知道了考试成绩，我数学考了92，语文49，英语44。数学有一道题是没有见过的题型，我就是这道题做错了，是因为没有看懂题，而且没有动脑筋去想题，所以这道题我就答错了；数学其他题我都是见过的，但是有几个题还是打错了，是因为粗心了，其实我是会做的。

语文错了两道题是因为我粗心了，并不是我不会。

英语错的题是没有记清单词的意思，所以打错了，还有一个题我不知道peaches是什么意思。这次考试我考的不算很好，主要的原因是我太粗心了，而且遇到没见过的题没有去思考，我要改掉这两个最大的毛病，希望接下来可以取得好成绩。

For example, if we have learned different methods of cooking vegetables, but we do not cook, then the different methods of cooking vegetables do not produce value for us.

Therefore, if we do not have knowledge, we have nothing to practice, but if we have knowledge without putting it into practice, knowledge is of no avail. So we should acquire as much knowledge and put it into practice.

Our class will go to have a physical examination in Peoples Hospital on Saturday, 10th May. Well meet at the hospital gate at 7:45.. It is not far from our school. Its about fifteen minutes walk.You may either walk there or go there by bicycle.

The examination will begin at 8:00. We are not allowed to eat or drink anything before the examination. Keep quiet there and listen to the doctors and nurses. After the examination you may go home.

英语作文：Yesterday, my mother clean the house, she did the big cleaning, so she searched every corner of the house, many old things were dig out, like the toys when I owned at the very early age. But there was one thing surprised me most, it is my photo album, my mother was happy to find it, she opened it to me, I saw myself in different stages. The photo album recorded me since I was born, I saw the wonderful moment my parents wrote, like the date I first talked, my parents took the picture of the moment.
