我知道老师对于我有着很大的期望，可是我还是没有考好。对于这点我感到十分抱歉。但是既然犯了错误就要改正，所以，通过考试我也想了很多以后一定要学习的东西。

新闻，以前是最不喜欢看的。从小到大一直喜看动画片和泡沫剧。现今过了年已是十五岁的大姑娘了，大人们常说我不懂事，我也常因自己脾气不好，或是不会处理事情而烦恼。一句“见识太少”终于让我找到了曙光，从此便开始喜欢上新闻。

对比以往，只读书确实让我懂了不少知识，也成为了学业上的佼佼者，但在生活上却是一个失败透顶的人。虽然读书也可以认识社会，但毕竟作家们歌颂的都是生活中的真善美，以及那我爱看的动画片，也是讴歌正义和善良，贬低和排斥邪恶势力。在这样的环境影响下，我的心一直生活在洁白无瑕的云端，以至于随着年龄的增长，心确仍然很幼稚。但我终究要与现实的社会接触，这个社会的本质就是没有绝对的公平，要想不吃亏就只能让自己成为强者。可惜当初的自己并不懂得这点，只是一味的抱怨，性格也变得恶劣。幸运的是，当我快要绝望的时候，新闻拉住了我，没有让我滑向那个谁也不知道有没有底的深渊。

在看了新闻后才知道世界之大与我之渺小。新闻的内容很丰富，我的喜好也不尽相同，上到国家与国家之间，下到人与人之间。我从一个个真实的例子中看出：“人的一些美好的品质：诚信、正直、见义勇为、智慧……对于这个社会是多么重要!

My hometown is in SiHong, Northern JiangSu Province, a beautiful place with a lot of clear rivers and lakes. When boating on HongZe Lake, I always feel free and relaxed. It is really a wonderful  place to enjoy your life.

I graduated from SiHong Middle School. It was set up in 1949 and now it  is more than 60 years old.

Do you know Harry Potter? If you dont, then you are out of date. Many

people love Harry Potter, whether children or adults. I love Harry Potter, too.

Last week, I went to Nantong to see the movie "Harry Potter and the Goblet of

Fire".It was a wonderful movie. In the movie, Harry is the same age as us and he

is more handsome than me. Harrys best friends are Hermione and Ron. The movie

tells the story of Harrys Fourth Year at Hogwarts. The Goblet of Five selects

him to compete as one of four champions in the Throwizard Tournament, despite

the fact that he didnt submit his name. The Tournament is very dangerous so his

friends are all worried about him. Hermione and Ron try their best to help Harry

to prepare for each task. I think their friendship is unbreakable. Cho Chang,

who Harry likes, is a Chinese pretty girl. I liked her but I liked Hermione

better because she is very clever.Its very magical! I love magic as much as

Harry does. If I lived in a magic world, I could pick up gigantic things easily,

I could go to wherever I liked and I could fly on a broom, I could change my

hairstyle of any time, I could.Its a perfect world and its a perfect

dream.

Since school comes into being， the test standard has been used to appraise performance of students. So far it is still being used， which may suggest that actually there are some advantages in it. However， it is also highly possible that the test standard is a not ideal way to find out what students have learned and what they haven‘t. Most school is still using it just because there is no better method to replace it.

In my opinion， the following three points are the critical flaws in the test standard.One of the most harmful effects on the test method is that it will force us to study just for passing tests， not for acquiring knowledge especially in China. Obviously the final object of education is making us intellective by learning more knowledge. While the test is only a way to examine the level of students‘ studies， it has been deteriorated to a sifter deciding the fate of students. Why can it be called a terrible sifter? Now in the tests， which decide who can enter a higher school， thousands of poor students， who want a splendid future， must prepare for the tests by finishing a great deal of practices. Those practice tests are heavy-laden to them. So in this case， how can they be expected to study to obtain knowledge? To them that are enough if they can reach the level which tests need. In the end what our nation will get， genuine persons with ability or just test robots?Secondly， tests will bring the examinees great pressure， which can affect their lives. A typical example of this is that most young students have worn glasses even though some of them are still children. For preparing for tests， they must spend a lot of time on doing their homework so that their eyesight becomes worse and worse. And the more time they spend on those， the less time they have for playing and relaxing. Consequently， there is a bad influence on their health.Thirdly， in fact， test system itself can not veraciously estimate who is better than others because there are many factors impacting the results of test. For instance， someone cheated in test so that his score would be higher than others. Or someone who was too nervous to perform well fell in the test.

Only in spare time and no pressure of tests existent， students can study simply for the fun， for obtaining knowledge and for the things that they are really interested in. But now the test system is the only way to select which one is better， who can reach better school and who can get good job. Then what we can do is to improve the test system or hope that something better will be invented and replace the test system.
