The usage of Internet becomes one of the most controversial topics in the

society. As a college student, I believe Internet is beneficial to me more than

the way it harms me. There are many advantages for using Internet.

First, I can best use my time to find information online instead of going

to different libraries. Also, the information can be dated back in decades ago.

It is very helpful to use those information as reference and historical proof.

In the library, it is hard to find so much "old" information. Another advantage

to use Internet is that I can stay home and have a lecture online. It is much

more convenience to me because I can stay warm to have class in the winter time

instead of spending two hours on the bus and physically attend class. In

addition, Internet provides me a better way to communicate with my friends and

professors. I can get response from my professor in a few minutes instead of

waiting outside of his door for hours. Some of my friends are living in a

Even though the usage of Internet has both positive and negative effect to

me, I still consider Internet is a symbol of technology development. I believe I

The way people hold the belief that a fun-filled， pain-free lifestyle

equals happiness actually reduces their chances of ever obtaining real

happiness. If fun and pleasure are equal to happiness，then pain must be equal to

unhappiness. But in fact，the opposite is true： more often than not things that

lead to happiness contain some pain.

Computer is increasingly popular in people’s daily life. The number of

computer in every family is more than TV set. Some people think it is so great

that they all regard it as a gift from the heaven. However, some people consider

it brings more disadvantages than advantages. In my opinion, both opinions are

correct, but if we can use computer in a proper way, its advantages are superior

终于有一天，我真正地加入了少先队，戴上了红领巾。我回到家里赶忙跟爸爸报喜。爸爸告诉我，红领巾就是国旗的一角，它象征着革命的胜利，你要好好保护红领巾。听完了爸爸的话，我点了点头。

自从我戴上了红领巾，我整个人都似乎变得有了责任感。

记得有一天，当我走在回家的路上，忽然看到了一位老奶奶，她吃力地提着一大袋蔬菜。她满头都是汗。我很想帮助她，但我却非常害羞。忽然，飘扬在我胸前的红领巾似乎在对我说话：“你已经是一个少先队员了，尊老爱幼是中华民族的传统美德，你因该去帮助她！”于是，我便毫不犹豫地走上前去。

虽然那袋蔬菜很重，但是我还是帮那个奶奶提到了她家里。那个奶奶看到我这么有诚意，于是便给了我一个橘子。我笑了笑，婉言谢绝了。我看了看红领巾，它正仰着头，在对我笑呢！

我还清楚地记得，那是一个风和日丽的下午，我正在公园里玩耍。公园真是美极了，到处都是五颜六色、姹紫嫣红的花儿，它们一齐绽放着，像是把它们最美的一面展现给我们看，这真是美极了！当我在欣赏这美景时，我发现，在不远处，有一群小朋友，他们正在摘公园里面的花儿，把它们编成五彩缤纷的花环，顶在头上漂亮极了。我也很喜欢这些美丽的花儿，也想把这些五彩缤纷的花儿摘下来。正当我想伸手去摘花朵的时候，我突然想到：我们要好好保护好环境，维护生态平衡。我看了看红领巾，他好像在叫我劝劝他们。于是，我便上前教导那些小朋友：“公园就是我们的家，我们要爱护她！我们要把它最美丽的一面都展现给大家看，让别人都感受到快乐。”听完我说的话后，他们一个个都停止了摘花，低下了头，说：“对不起。”公园的管理员看见我教导他们，连忙对我说：“谢谢你！”

在回家的路上，我格外兴奋，因为，这是我第一次听到别人这样对我说谢谢你，心里别提多甜了。

做完这些事后，我感到了为别人服务的快乐，更多地为别人服务，帮同学找本子；帮妈妈做家务；帮爷爷拿报纸······红领巾也对我笑开了花。

作为少先队员，我们因该多为社会做贡献，让社会更加和谐。毕竟，我们是二十一世纪的青少年。我深深的为自己是一名少先队员而感到骄傲、自豪与光荣！

Dear editor,

I’m writing to tell you about the discussion we have had about whether an entrance fee should be charged for parks. 60% of us schoolmates think that an entrance fee do not meet people’s expectations, for a park is considered to be a place where the public can have a good time when they are not busy either at home or at work. If an entrance fee must be paid by the visitors for a park, it will be necessary to build a gate and surrounding walls. In the end a city will take on a bad look. 40% of us schoolmates think that an entrance fee can be accepted, but it must not be too expensive. The money from ticket selling can be used for paying the gardeners in the park and buying some other kinds of flowers and trees.

With regard to myself, I think an entrance fee is useful, for it can be used to protect a park. Do we share the same opinion, dear editor?

In China, Spring Festival is the biggest day. People will come back home

and enjoy spending some time with their families. So no matter how far they are,

they will figure out all the ways to come back home and get reunited. The house

cleaning work before the coming of this big day always brings me the happy

memory. We can find something lost a long time ago in the corner. It is like the

surprise and makes me feel so excited. On the New Year’s Eve, all of my families

will sit together and enjoy the real big meal. We share our happiness and the

future expectation. What a nice moment.
