最恋那碗莲藕排骨汤

新年的脚步越来越近，“就地过年”成了新时尚，虽然就地过年既安全又可以节约一笔钱，但是，我内心深处还是很想家，想亲人，想母亲做的美食，特别是那碗只有过年回家才吃得上的热气腾腾、香气扑鼻的莲藕排骨汤，是思乡时最深的慰藉。

记忆里，我们每年回家，最开心的莫过于母亲，天还没亮，她就迫不及待地起床生煤炉子、洗陶吊子，然后赶到菜市场，挑选几根她认为最好的排骨和最新鲜的莲藕，放进陶吊子里，在炉火上精心煨制。

中途不用揭锅看，母亲自有她的煨汤心得，待莲藕排骨汤特有的浓香弥漫小巷、路过的人们情不自禁深吸口气说“好香啊”的时候，母亲才信心十足地揭开盖子。俗话说，“吃肉不如喝汤，喝汤不如闻香”。此时，莲藕的清香混合着熟透的肉香直达肺腑，眼里心里都是幸福的温暖。

开吃前，母亲总要拿起筷子完成一套颇有仪式感的品尝过程，将筷子在她认为最干净的胳肢窝里擦擦，然后小心翼翼夹起一块莲藕细细品尝，“嗯，蛮粉!咸淡正好!”汤浓香、藕粉糯、肉烂熟，说明这吊汤食材上乘、火候到位，母亲这才露出满意的笑容。

湖北的冬天虽然不像北方那样零下十几度或几十度，但照样寒冷，因为我们很少有安装暖气的，北方人回家脱衣服，湖北人回家则裹得像熊猫一样傍着火炉边搓手边瑟瑟发抖，而炉上那锅咕咕冒着热气的莲藕排骨汤，是母亲为孩子驱赶寒冷的不二法宝，也是邻里关系亲如一家的秘诀。

小时候，因为爷爷奶奶过世得早，我们姐弟仨多亏了隔壁的奶奶帮着照看。家里每次煨汤，母亲情愿不吃，都要添上一碗堆得冒尖的汤送给隔壁的奶奶吃。母亲说，老人的口是金口，越吃越有。

长大后，我也曾学着煨莲藕排骨汤，但总觉得没母亲煨的汤香甜，母亲传授过煨莲藕排骨汤的经验，除了用陶吊在炉火上文火慢熬，选材也十分重要，排骨不一定要正排，猪脊骨、边排都是可以的，但莲藕一定要选九孔的，母亲说，只有湖北才能种出九孔的莲藕，也只有九孔的莲藕才能煨出最浓最香的莲藕排骨汤。

买排骨的时候，我们都不喜欢排骨下边那一点“肥泡子肉”，但母亲说，那才是一坨正宗的好肉，里面包裹着脆骨，煨熟后脆骨嚼得嘎嘣响，软烂的肥肉吸满了汤汁，吃上一块，味蕾极尽享受。

湖北冬天的街头，也有卖莲藕排骨汤的，一般是做小炒或早点的生意搭着卖，老板很大方，五块钱一大碗，洒上一点胡椒和几粒葱花，一碗吃下去，额头汗津津，周身透满温暖。

异乡冬天街头的驱寒美食也有很多，涮羊肉、蒸米糕、烤红薯……但我最恋的，还是母亲那碗莲藕排骨汤。

大寒节一过，母亲便早早地将湖北的九孔莲藕寄了过来，收到快递时，莲藕上还留着一层褐色的泥巴，母亲说，这样的莲藕保鲜，可以存放很长一段时间都不会坏。

England is the best place I’ve ever been. Everything is so beautiful. I

spent about one and a half days on the plane. When I arrived at Heathrow Airport

Festival is a folk Festival.In the past,In the past, the Qingming Festival was

called "Arbor Day". But Today, Chinese visit their family graves to tend to any

underbrush that has grown. Weeds are pulled, and dirt swept away, and the family

will set out offerings of food and spirit money. Unlike the sacrifices at a

familys home altar, the offerings at the tomb usually consist of dry, bland

food. One theory is that since any number of ghosts rome around a grave area,

the less appealing food will be consumed by the ancestors, and not be plundered

by strangers.

With the passing of time, this celebration of life became a day to the

honor past ancestors. Following folk religion, the Chinese believed that the

spirits of deceased ancestors looked after the family. Sacrifices of food and

spirit money could keep them happy, and the family would prosper through good

harvests and more children.
