Recently, our efforts to protect wild animals was questioned by the public,

because the news is keep reporting that more and more wild animals was killed by

human beings, especially the very precious one. Innocent animals was dead for

their meat, fur and tooth, it was just used to fill up human beings desire. In

my point of view, the wild animals were protected effectively still has a long

way to go.

Firstly, people should try harder to make a better place for animals. The

land where the wild animals live was deprived by human being. For hundreds

years, people cut the trees to make land for their living and farming, wild

animals homeland was took, they have no choice but run away. What is more,

human beings break the food link in nature; wild animals can not find enough

food to keep alive. There is no doubt that the destruction of nature has become

a big problem to kill wild animal, for instance, a polar bear was starved to

death because of the greenhouse effect, the ice was melt away, the seadog and

fish that polar bear like to eat are far away from them. For those reasons,

people should protect the environment first if they want to protect wild animals

effectively.

Second, no buying, no killing. Some rich people like to wear fur coat, they

treat it as a status symbol, especially for rich woman, they think animal fur is

beautiful and warm, they will never consider that the fur they wear for years is

the skin that animal wear for their whole life, and they knew how bloody when

people took the fur from animal but they choose to ignore it. If people do not

buy the fur and tooth, lots of wild animals will be survived.

In sum, wild animals are our friends, we should give back and protect their

homeland, and stop buying their body part, or our future generations will see

them in zoo and museum.

Tomorrow is dragon boat festival, I and father mother go together Woerma goes buying a zhongzi.

“五岳归来不看山，黄山归来不看岳”。前年，我终于有幸领略到了天下第一奇山——黄山的奇绝。

黄山以奇松、怪石、云海、温泉、冬雪五绝闻名于世。内有72峰、1500种植物、500种动物、为5A级旅游风景区。

现在满头大汗的我们经过几番辛苦总算到了黄山的中心：玉屏楼。走上去往下看，变化多端的云海尽收眼底。休息了一会儿，我们继续向上走，来到了瀑布下。雄伟的瀑布的水像白绸带往下落，可是声音却震耳欲聋，似火山爆发，如惊涛拍岸，真是壮观。古人赞曰：飞泉不让匡庐瀑，峭壁撑天挂九龙。

又爬了许多台阶，气喘吁吁的我们用汗水撒满了一路的惊叹与快乐。终于爬上了黄山的顶峰——光明顶，踩着白云往下看，那如诗如画如梦似幻的黄山图，我们醉了……

The Ten-minute Break Between Classes Time seems to be so limited for us Senior Three students. As a result, more and more students try to study from early morning till late afternoon, even during the ten-minute breaks. In my view, taking a ten minute break between classes is equally important. Otherwise, we will feel exhausted both physically and mentally,During the ten minute break, we are supposed to do something really relaxing, we need is to have a rest, instead of getting more tired. Besides, studying during the break doesn ’ t necessarily mean that you will achieve more. So doing nothing tiring in that short period is of greater significance. As far as my ten-minute breaks are concerned, sometimes I take some simple exercise, such as having a walk with my classmates, or just a free chat to refresh myself. When the next class begins, I feel energetic again.

Aducation is not an end, but a means to an end. In other words, we do not

educate children only for educating them. Our purpose is to fit them for

life.

In some modern countries it has been fashionable to think that free

education for all can solve all the problems of society and build a perfect

nation. But we can already see that free education for all is not enough.We find

in such countries a far larger number of people with university degrees refusing

to do what they think is "low"work, and. in fact, working with ones hands is

thought to be dirty and shameful in such countries.

But we have only to think a moment to understand that the work of a

completely uneducated farmer is far more important than that of a professor~ we

can live without education,but we die if we have no food. If no one cleaned our

streets and took the rubbish away from our houses, we should get terrible

diseases in our towns.

In fact, when we say that all of us must be educated to fit us for life, it

means that we must be educated in such a way that, firstly, each of us can do

whatever work is suited to his brains and ability and, secondly, that we can

realize that all jobs are necessary to society, and that it is very bad to be

ashamed of ones work. Only such a type of education can be considered valuable

去年夏天，蝉鸣聒躁，父母领着我至厦门游玩。行程过半，母亲提议去厦门边的小岛——鼓浪屿一日游。

由厦门鹭岛的渡轮码头乘游轮去鼓浪屿。游轮座无虚席，游客们迫切的神情似从眼眶中跃了出来，荡漾在暖热的海风中。解说员热情介召:鼓浪屿海浪击石，涛声如击鼓由此得名。

至岛上，人挤着人进大门，向右穿过排排高树踏在正路上，游人就像蒸发般散开，四周空旷。

环岛而行，路过几个不值得浪费时间的店铺便到了海边。道路与沙滩的界限似被橡皮抹去了，踩在细白的沙滩上，脚下松软一片。捧起被烈阳照得亮晶晶的砂子，观察细沙从指缝流走。浪花有节奏的拍打着沙滩，措不及防被海风拥了满怀，海风从蔚蓝海面出发，卷着咸味，扑向沙滩、绿树上。我感受风吹过发丝的清凉，冷冷的，退回几步又被阳光晒得燥热，道不明是冷是热。被风挑逗了，总觉得小岛真是可爱得紧。

买了收集印章的本子，每个店铺都有独一无二的样式，由此开启了集印章的“任务”。尝遍鼓浪屿精致小吃，喝了各家独酿的果茶，拉着父母穿过数条街，不知疲倦。红色的印章也在本子上多起来。看见一家“贝壳馆”，爬在玻璃上观察各式各样的贝壳。有些反射了阳光，辐射感迷人眼，心里总惦记这里印章得有多漂亮啊!参观结束，工作人员告知印章没墨。脸上的笑意飞走了，耷拉着脑袋离开。

“涛声如击鼓”击的正是日光岩，它是鼓浪屿的最高峰，也只有92.68米。可见鼓浪屿小巧精致，当之无愧。山下绿意正浓，向上望足见山势之挺拔。沐浴着阳光的照拂，登上步步石梯，沿着修理整齐的小路登近岩顶。路陡然变窄起来，窄得只够一人走过，两边架起抚手。“消失”的游客在此会聚，一个挤着一个攀上了岩顶。岩顶不大，光秃秃的。没有植被遮挡，烈日尽情在我身上洒落光辉，风早已吹不走热浪，留下的都是夏的气息。站在岩顶，足已纵观小岛全貌，海水紧紧裹住小岛，沙滩圈住小岛的绿意。葱茏的绿，整齐的房屋，细细的白，纯净的蓝，交错构成小岛全貌，充满了夏天的味道。

又坐渡轮返回，远离令人留恋的小岛，吹着海风。心中早已有台相机，拍下鼓浪屿的景色。

people make use of the high technology to pursue more profit. Though the

government has noticed the problem that people do to the environment, they still

can’t prevent negative result that the polluted environment brings.

Many years ago, the most prominent problem of the polluted environment is

that the river and the water were changed their color, some fish even died for

the polluted river. Now the situation becomes ever worse, lately, in the big

city, like Beijing and Shanghai, people are annoyed by the bad weather. It is

not the rainy day, but the haze around the sky, there is no way for people to

run away for it. The haze contains toxic elements, people breathe it and hurt

their bodies.

The haze problem is the result of people’s pursuit for the profit, what

people did to the environment now has been paid back by the environment. Now

people have realized the revenge from the nature is so huge, protecting the

environment is the main task. No matter how bad the environment is, people still

need to do something to fix their mistake.

家乡的春节从腊月中旬就开始了。家家户户的阳台上挂满了诱人的笋干、香肠、鱼干、鸡鸭、腊肉等等。啊，春节的味道也是越来越浓了，我们也是一直在期待春节的到来。

过了小年二十三，家里要进行一次彻底的大扫除。全家总动员，爷爷拖地，奶奶擦油烟机，爸爸擦各种电器、桌椅和洗马桶，妈妈整理衣物，我也不甘落后，把他们清理出来的垃圾倒掉。果然人多力量大，家里很快就变得干干净净，地板都可以当镜子照了!

除夕这天既忙碌又热闹。奶奶是要一大早就从菜场抢回满满一小车的菜，吃完早餐后就忙着清洗。爷爷也是磨刀霍霍，负责杀鸡杀鱼。至于虾蟹等各类海鲜的处理和烧煮，自然是爸爸义不容辞的事了。下午，厨房里就飘出一股股令人馋涎欲滴的各种香味，撩拨得我好像饥肠辘辘似得。美食的诱惑实在难以抵挡，趁大人不注意，我会偷偷地先吃点解解馋。妈妈发现了会憋着笑意假装严肃地批评我，而慈爱的奶奶这时就是我的护身符，总会站在我这边不许妈妈教训我。爷爷也会边忙边探过头来说“干嘛干嘛，小孩子贪吃很正常，又没事”之类的话。不但妈妈想借此对我进行教育的事不了了之，我还能在奶奶满含笑意的宠溺的眼神里理直气壮地吃她特意为我准备的东西。

简单祭祖后，奶奶就招呼大家上桌吃一年里意义非凡的年夜饭了。当大家大快朵颐，吃得津津有味时，我却只能望“食”兴叹了，因为我之前已经吃得肚胀腹圆了，后悔也来不及了!

然后我就盼望着观赏除夕夜的美丽烟花。等啊等，五颜六色的烟花终于绽放在夜空中了!千姿百态，有的像银蛇狂舞，有的像孔雀开屏，还有的像绽放的花朵。它们把兰溪装点的绚丽夺目，整个兰溪城真是“火树银花不夜天”啊!

大年初一开始，我就要跟父母去长辈家拜年。这也是我喜欢的事。因为拜年有好吃的，可以和亲戚家的同龄小朋友一起玩，最让人高兴的是还会有红包。我常常一领到红包，就连忙躲到个没人的地方，偷偷地打开红包看看有多少，只要是达到或超出预想，我就很兴奋，觉得这个长辈对我真好，真大方。当然，不管多少，最后我都会乖乖地主动上交给爸爸妈妈，因为我是好孩子。

元宵节是春节的最后一个高潮。家乡的元宵节要舞龙灯，那景象，美丽壮观极了!龙头威武高大，龙身有好几十节，长的甚至有上百节，身上色彩斑斓。每节龙灯里都点着蜡烛，在漆黑的夜晚，特别明亮炫目。长长的龙灯在很多年轻健壮的小伙子肩上扛着，有时穿街走巷，有时在空旷处盘桓，有时龙头还要叩拜祈福、求财、保平安呢。

元宵过后，我们又要背着书包去上学了，大人们早就已经开始上班了。热闹喜庆的春节就这样过去了，谁能告诉我，下一个春节可以早点来吗?

Stepping into the new century, environment pollution has become more

serious than ever since. There are different kinds of pollution. Such as, water

pollution, air pollution and noise pollution and so on. It seems that we live on

a planet which is full of pollution. Where all these pollution comes from? To a

large extend, the environmental destruction is the heavy price that we pay for

the rapid development of economy and the growing population. In order to have

more fuel, people cut down trees and dig more corals. But the growing needs for

energy are hardly to meet. Countless private cars on the street, the gas

stations are short of gasoline, even the government has raise the price so many

times in order to control the needs of gasoline, but it’s still not working.

Overusing the natural resources has already affected the ecological balance.

However, the factories still release the toxic air into the sky and the polluted

water into the rivers. People still lack of the conscious of protecting the

environment. I think it’s time for all of us to do something.

The government should put forward some more strict laws to prevent the

environment from being further polluted. And they should let people know more

about the importance of environment protection. And we should find the balance

between the economic growth and environmental protection. Plant more trees in

the deserts and stop cutting down the forest. Forbid the factories to pour the

waste water into the rivers directly. Encourage people to use public

transportations to work. Both government and ordinary people should join hands

together to make our home clean and fresh again. Only in this way, our earth

could be a better place to live in.

Chinese New Year

Chinese new year is a chinese traditional festival. We also call it the spring festival. It is on lunar january 1st.

On new year’s eve, all the people sit around the desk and have a big family dinner. There are some vegetables, some fish, some meat, some fruits and some drink like juice, coke, pepsi and some nice wine. Overall, this is a good and delicious dinner. After dinner, we always watch tv new year progammes. We have a wonderful evening on new year’s eve.

On the first day of the spring festival, most of people get up early and say “happy new year” to each other. for breakfast, people often eat dumplings and baozi. After breakfast, people often make many delicious foods, and children often play cards, computer games and fireworks. On the second and third day, we visit friends and relatives.

Everyone is busy on chinese new year, and everyone is happy, too.

People will make a lot of friends during their lifetime, the more friends

they make, the more capable they are. Some young people are proud of having many

friends, but only the true friends deserve us to care about. The person we make

must be positive to life. He will set the good example to you and help you to be

a better man. The bad friends will make you perverted, especially for the

teenagers, they can’t make the right judgement and are easy to follow others, so

the friends are very important part of their lives. Once they make the wrong

friends, they will do the bad thing. So we don’t need more friends, just the

right one.

I have a dream, deeply rooted in my mind, that is when I grow up, I want to

So, I want to be a scientist, become a contribution to the country, to

become the pillars of the country.

Had this dream, I will continue to be so hard, never give up, have the

dream, is to grasp their own life course, will not be lost. Had this dream, like

a lamp, light up my way forward, has been to the pinnacle of victory!

Since we were born as a little baby, we get help from others all the time.

Our parents raise us, our teachers teach us and our friends company us.

Therefore, it’s important for us to be grateful to those people who give us a

hand. Being grateful is a way to show them our appreciation and our love. No one

in the world is supposed to love us without any conditions. Moreover, Being

grateful to others and to what you get can lead you are ready to help others,

too. I think this is the most important impact on people that being grateful. If

we are all show our appreciation to others and then help others, we could build

a friendly and harmonious society.

每年春节我们一家都要回德会爷爷奶奶家过年。这也是我最高兴的。农村有好多我不熟悉和我向往的事。奶奶说过年也是她最高兴的事，儿孙们可以回来多住几天，平时各种事情使你们脱不开身，只能趁春节放假回来陪陪我们。爷爷在一旁忙着烧水，又给我去仓子拿好吃的。爸爸，爷爷的脸上又有好多皱纹，我望着爸爸，看他听我说完，脸色有些难过，可他还是笑着对我说：你爷爷都76岁了，这皱纹是岁月在他脸上勾勒的画卷。奶奶也笑了，老孙子，你看我儿子这书没有白念，出口成章，将来你也要象你爸爸学习，超过你爸爸考个好大学。奶奶，一定，为我加油。我和奶奶击掌，69岁的奶奶也随我喊了一声：耶!满屋子人都笑了。

奶奶家的院子真大，大门的左侧有猪圈、羊圈。羊圈后墙与西厢房中间还有两棵苹果树，麻雀飞来飞去，叽叽喳喳的叫着，好像它知道要过年了，在为我们演唱歌曲，果树下地上有一个小门，我好奇的问二伯，他告诉我这是地窖，用来储存冬天的蔬菜，二伯打开盖子，我一看，好深好黑呀。大门的右侧是很大很大的园子，二伯告诉我春天可以种大白菜、葱、豆角、辣椒等等。二伯抓住一只小羊：大侄子，你敢骑马?敢。我骑上了，二伯拽着，其实我也很害怕的，可是我是第一次骑羊，我可高兴了。二娘还带我去喂猪，喂鸡。小羊、小猪、小鸡、小鸟的叫声混在一起就像交响乐一样，给春节增添了很多乐趣。

年三十白天大人们忙着准备年夜饭，孩子们在贴春联，我虽然冻得哆嗦，但还是抹浆糊，取春联，让哥哥姐姐贴。奶奶带领二娘和妈妈忙着把老祖宗请出来供奉。这是农村的一种风俗，每年年三十开始，将一张流传下来的家谱挂在北墙上，下面摆上饭菜，点燃蜡烛，表示对已逝先人的敬重。

新年钟声即将敲响是我们一大家正忙碌的时候。老祖宗前的蜡烛燃烧旺盛，美酒已斟满，奶奶首先双腿跪地向老祖宗恭恭敬敬的磕了三个头，还说我们儿孙满堂，生活红火，家人平安都有老祖宗的功劳。接下来二伯、爸爸一一向老祖宗跪拜，转过来又向爷爷奶奶叩头祝爷爷奶奶健康、快乐。二娘、妈妈依次、最后轮到我和哥哥，刚开始我还不习惯，问爸爸这是为什么啊?爸爸告诉我这是祖宗留下的规矩，是对长辈最大尊敬的表现形式。我明白了，恭恭敬敬的给老祖宗磕头。然后给爷爷奶奶磕头。祝他们永远健康。年迈的爷爷奶奶脸上始终绽放着幸福的笑容，同时我也感到了尊重和孝敬长辈是件快乐的事，贺岁的鞭炮鸣响，午夜的钟声也响起，我们欢呼祝福着。

时间催促我们不得不离开奶奶家，春节来得晚些又走得早些，爷爷奶奶舍不得我离开，我更舍不得爷爷奶奶，春节快点到来吧，我还回家乡过春节。

Olympic Games will be held every four years and it is the biggest sports

event. My father is a big fan and he will stay up very late to watch the sport.

I was affected by my father. I fell in love with many sports and diving was my

favorite Olympics sport. At first, I was attracted by the excellent movement

that the athletes played. The moment they diving into the water was like the

fish jumping into the water, which was wonderful. I started to figure out the

small different actions between athletes after I watching more. They challenge

harder action then get higher points. Every improvement is the result of hard

working.
