Zhang Ying is my good friend. She’s in Class1, Grade4 in Tianjiao Primary

School. She’s a model student. She’s smart and she’s helpful, too. She often

helps teachers and young students at school. She is good at Chinese, math,

painting and drawing. And she likes listening to music, having picnics with her

Its spring now. The weather is warm and comfortable. Its a good time for

hiking. Therefore, my teacher organized a climbing for us. There is a beautiful

mountain in my city and its target this time. We took bus there and arrived

there at 9 p.m.. After we took off the bus, we started to climb. The mountain is

high but the scenery is beautiful. We are so excited that we climbed fast at

first. But after a while, some of us were tired,especially girls. They did not

want to go on anymore. But some others encouraged and helped them. All of us

slowed down our speed, so that no one was left behind. About 11:00 p.m., we got

Since the development of the technology, the society gets modernized,

government has noticed the problem that people do to the environment, they still

can’t prevent negative result that the polluted environment brings.

Many years ago, the most prominent problem of the polluted environment is

that the river and the water were changed their color, some fish even died for

the polluted river. Now the situation becomes ever worse, lately, in the big

city, like Beijing and Shanghai, people are annoyed by the bad weather. It is

not the rainy day, but the haze around the sky, there is no way for people to

run away for it. The haze contains toxic elements, people breathe it and hurt

The haze problem is the result of people’s pursuit for the profit, what

people did to the environment now has been paid back by the environment. Now

暑假里，我和爸爸妈妈到南京，游览了明孝陵。

明孝陵有两条神道。一条叫石象路神道，另一条叫翁仲路神道。

石象路神道有六种石兽，分别是马、麒麟、狮子、象、骆驼、獬豸。它们都是用整块巨石雕刻而成的，保卫着皇帝和皇后的灵魂。

翁仲路神道有文官和武将各四人。武将穿着铠甲，手里拿着兵器，上面的花纹非常精细。而文官像书生一样，非常有风度。

沿着长长的甬道，我们走进文武方门。里面有一块高大的石碑，上面刻着四个字：治隆唐宋。这是清朝康熙皇帝写的，意思是朱元璋治理国家超过了唐朝和宋朝。

接下来到了内红门，又叫阴阳门，导游说这道门隔开了阳间和阴间。顿时，我的心里充满了恐惧，紧紧地拽住妈妈的手。这道门有三个门口，可不能随便乱进哦!中间的门是墓主人走的，游人要从右边的门进去。抬脚也有讲究，要男左女右，不能踩到门槛。我拉着妈妈的手，小心翼翼地跨了进去。甬道两边腊梅正在开放，浓郁的香味向我扑来。我的心情放松了许多。

走过升仙桥，从方城中间的拱门走上去，有54级台阶，里面黑乎乎的，我的心又紧张起来，浑身变得僵硬，想赶紧逃掉。出了隧道，登上明楼，背面就是独龙阜，朱元璋和马皇后的墓就埋在这里。据说朱元璋很喜欢鹿，他觉得鹿很有灵气，就在独龙阜上放养了很多鹿，每只鹿脖子上都挂着一块玉，任何人都不能伤害它们，我觉得这些鹿过得好幸福哦!

游览明孝陵，我学到了很多历史、文化的知识。

Every day, we can see the figures of the volunteers. Actually, they have

formed a kind of scenery of the city. Some people hold that volunteering is

merely a waste of time, because the volunteers have no gains with pains.

However, I believe that doing voluntary is quite rewarding.

In the first place, we can put into practice what we have learnt before,

In the second place, we could make a lot of new friends while we are

Yesterday was Teachers Day. It was a great day for all the teachers and also a happy time for us students. In the morning.we went to school early and put a bunch of flowers on our class masters desk to give him a big surprise. Some of us stood at the school gate to say hello to every teacher when they entered the school. In the afternoon, we held a party. We sang and danced with the teachers. The Great Wall of China

The Great Wall of China is called the "Ten-thousand-Ii Great Wall" in Chinese.In fact, its more than 6000 kilometres long. It winds its way from west to east, across deserts, over mountains, through valleys till at last it reaches the sea. It is one of the wonders of the world.

The Great Wall has a history of over twenty centuries.The first part of it was built during the Spring and Autumn Period. During the Warring States Period, more walls were put up to defend the borders of the different kingdoms. It was during the Qin Dynasty that the kingdom of Qin united the different parts into one empire. To keep the enemy out of his empire, Emperor Qin Shi Huang had all the walls joined up.Thus, the Great Wall came into being.

The Great Wall is wide enough at the top for five horses or ten men to walk side by side. Along the wall are watchtow-ers, where soldiers used to keep watch. Fires were lit on the the towers as a warning when the enemy came.

It was very difficult to build such a wall in the ancient days without any modern machines. All the work was done by hand. Thousands of men died and were buried under the wall they built. The Great Wall was made not only of stone and earth, but of the flesh and blood of millions of men.

Today the Great Wall has become a place of interest not only to the Chinese but to people from all over the world.Many of them have come to know the famous Chinese saying: "He who does not reach the Great Wall is not a true man."

中国的长城

中国的长城汉语中常叫作“万里长城”。实际上它长6 ooo多公里。它从西到东，穿过沙漠，越过高山，跨过深谷，蜿蜒而行，最后直到海边。它是世界上的奇观之一。

长城有两千多年的历史。最早是在春秋时期开始修筑的。战国时期，各诸候国为了保卫自己的边境，分别修筑了更多的城墙。在秦朝时，秦国把各诸侯国统一起来，成为一个帝国。为了御敌于国门之外，秦始皇令人把所有的城墙连接起来。这样，长城就形成了。

non-smokers are in favor of banning smoking in public places.

In my opinion, I am inclined to support the latter one—smoking should be

banned in public places. There are reasons accounting for my point. For one

thing, people will be harmed by the second-hand smoking if someone smokes in

public places, especially the infants and children. For another, banning smoking

in public places is also beneficial to the smokers. If they are banned to smoke

in public places, they will restrain themselves from smoking and smoke less. In

the meantime, it is a contribution to reduce the air pollution.

Therefore, I advocate that smoking in public places should be banned so

that we can breathe the fresh air and suffer less from the second-hand smoking.

Let’s work together to create and sustain out green and fresh environment.

It seems we are living in the conflict between modern and traditional

cultures every day. Hearing the blaring of horns the moment you step out of your

house, seeing the so called "pop" the moment you open your eyes, you cant help

thinking, "Will the traditional culture be gradually lost?"

Many people believe so. They may put right in front of you all the

evidences they can dig out. They may argue that people are rushing to

restaurants instead of cooking at home, listening to pop music but not

traditional, wearing in a way people couldnt imagine ten years ago. Modern

people like the air of freedom, not to be restrained by traditions. They offer

this long list, only trying to confirm that this world is full of

fashion,competition and temptation and the traditional culture is fading and

will be lost at last.

Though we are now living in a world in which undeclared aggression, war,

hypocrisy, chicanery, anarchy are part of our daily life. Though this is a

skeptical age, and our faith has weakened, our confidence in some aspects of the

读懂组织十年“奋进”之心，在砥砺笃行中践行组工担当。这十年，是党和国家事业发展中极不平凡的十年，也是组织部门上下团结奋斗、砥砺前行的十年。十年来，组织工作在加强党的全面领导、严密党的组织体系、建设高素质专业化干部队伍等方面取得了丰硕的成果，实现了我们党的组织路线在与时俱进中接续奋进、笃定前行。当前正处在向第二个百年奋斗目标进军的关键节点，组织工作正面临着新的挑战，组工干部要不畏艰险、迎难而上，在大战大考中淬火成钢、彰显本色，在笃行不怠中攻坚克难、苦干实干，在不断拼搏中践行组工担当。要熟练掌握业务知识，把握好党中央关于组织工作的政策和方针，使自己真正成为组织工作的“政策通”和“活字典”，以积极有为的组织担当激励自身昂扬之气，锻造出坚强有力的“战斗堡垒”。

读懂组织十年“开拓”之心，在革故鼎新中践行组工使命。党坚持自我革命，以强烈的历史主动精神推进全面从严治党，再一次彰显了党自我革命的鲜明品格。这十年，组织部门持续纵深推进党的建设制度改革，全面推动党的组织制度、干部人事制度、基层组织建设制度、人才发展体制机制深化改革。在新的历史条件下，组工干部作为组织工作改革创新的组织者、实践者和推动者，必须进一步大胆探索，勇于创新，敢于突破长期以来形成的一些习惯性做法，强化创新意识，把握创新要求。紧紧围绕当前组织工作的重点方向，找准创新组织工作的着力点，站在时代发展的最前沿思考问题，着力提高把握大局、运用政策、知人善任、改革创新、拒腐防变等五个方面的能力和水平，努力实现组织工作的创新与发展，全力推动组织工作实现新跨越。

又一个新年将至，我想起了多年前快过年时，发生在我父亲身上的一件事。

_世纪_年代，农村刚开始实行家庭联产承包责任制。我的老家离集市很远，乡亲们要买个针头线脑得赶二三公里山路，父亲脑子灵活，决定在老家开一家杂货店。

开春后，父亲卖了一头猪，攒了200元，办执照，购点油盐酱醋，积蓄所剩无几了。父亲是个极爱面子的人，从不轻易借钱，等他艰难地借遍亲朋好友后，才想到乡里的信用社。信用社有个与父亲年龄相仿的人，他叫张本元，父亲一辈子叫他“张主任”。父亲找到张主任，说了开店进糖缺钱的事。张主任与父亲商议了几句，然后办了手续，签好字，按上手印，父亲便拿到了200元。父亲靠着信用社贷来的200元，购入100公斤白砂糖，剩下的钱买了一些红砂糖和饼干之类的。

小店终于在一个初春的薄雾中开张了。农忙时父亲在田里忙活，母亲坐店;农闲时父亲挑着货郎担，早出晚归，走村串户。父亲沉默寡言，货郎担里却货真价实，卖得最快的还是白砂糖，一天要卖几公斤。两个月后，父亲算了笔账，贷的200元进的糖卖出后净赚45元，当然父亲没有把“脚力钱”算进去，父亲很高兴，凑上200元去还贷，并特意捎上一包白砂糖、一包红砂糖。张主任说：“你的心意我领了，但这两包糖我不能收。”父亲急得脸通红，一个劲儿地劝张主任：“天热了，泡泡水喝吧。”张主任没办法，只得收下两包糖，父亲把还款手续办完后，张主任塞给父亲1.5元(当时白砂糖每公斤1.4元)，父亲急得脸红脖子粗，说什么也不肯要张主任递过来的钱。

时间过得飞快，父亲的小店一天天红火起来，乡亲们都喜欢到小店买东西，偶尔也有赊账的。年底，节日的气氛一天天浓起来。父亲到集上调年货，张主任碰到父亲，说：“我家老大从市内买了一些软糖，适合老年人，不伤牙齿。”那时的市面上软糖稀贵。张主任递给父亲一个小包裹，父亲高兴地收下了，就好像是走亲戚时收到的馈赠。父亲回到家里，小心翼翼地打开包裹，里面真有几颗软糖，可除了软糖，里面还藏着1.5元的钞票。父亲想起来了，这是张主任在还那1公斤糖的钱。望着那两张钞票，年迈的父亲眼睛湿润了……
