我的家乡在湖北荆州，荆州有一条河，叫护城河。以前的护城河风景如画，河水清澈见底，鱼儿在水里欢快地游泳，河面的荷花绽放像花仙子，一阵微风吹拂过来，一阵阵清香扑鼻而来。水草给小河铺上了绿色的锦缎，美极了。人们在河里捉鱼、游泳、洗衣服，护城河水与人们的生活息息相关。

城内的天空湛蓝深远，空气清新甜润。树木郁郁葱葱，各种各样的小花小草绽开在房前屋后，美不胜收。只要有人从那里走过，都会停下来，欣赏这迷人的风景。

可如今现在的护城河脏乱得不堪入目，水浑浊不堪。河面漂浮着垃圾与死鱼，臭气熏天，人们要掩鼻而过。钓的鱼，即使是活蹦乱跳，却不可以食用。

排污口遍布在河内，一股股发出恶臭的黄水，如同毒龙涌向河内。人们不再在河里游泳、捉鱼了。护城河水如病态的老人在呻吟。

城市的天空如今蒙蒙，天空不再是清新怡人。大街小巷痰迹满地，垃圾随处可见。现在的护城河好像已经变成废河了。

荆州的生态环境已经严重破坏，危害着我们每一个人的身体健康。保护荆州的环境是每一个荆州公民义不容辞的责任。为了荆州有清新的空气，为了有湛蓝深远的天空，为了到处都是鸟语花香、莺啼燕舞。让我们行动起来，也许只有这样，才能让以前迷人的风景回来。

我喜欢锻炼身体，喜欢在大自然清新的空气中慢跑。

星期天的清晨，我和爸爸去北江边慢跑，我们围着江心岛转圈，呼吸着新鲜的空气，观赏着蓝天白云和绿树红花，还有清澈的江水，心情真是好极了。跑着跑着，我看到一片草地上洒满了垃圾，有塑料袋，有食品袋，还有饮料瓶……真的是太可气了！我还看到有一个中年人把刚抽完的烟头随手丢到了草地上。于是，我和爸爸从草地上把垃圾一一个捡起来，放进垃圾桶。虽然我们忙得汗流浃背，但看到草坪恢复了整洁，我们的心平静了下来。

还有一天，我和妈妈去菜市场买菜，看到了一个阿姨一边嗑瓜子，一边把瓜子壳往地上乱丢，我当时很气恼，然后跑到阿姨面前说：“阿姨，乱丢垃圾是不对的，我们要爱护环境呀！”阿姨听了，不好意思地说：“哎呀！对不起啊，小妹妹，我知道乱丢垃圾是不对的，谢谢你的提醒，我下次一定记得。”我心想着我又做了一件好事，脸上挂起了幸福的笑容，妈妈笑着说：“惟惟真棒！”

我们生活在地球之上，如果每一个人都爱护地球，那地球就会永远绿色。为此，我要站出来向大家呼吁：“保护环境，从我做起。环保地球你我他，环境保护靠大家。”

We cant live without water, but now the water was polluted. It is the biggest problem. It influences our daily life. So we should find a way to solve this problem. Water is important resources. I think we could use a bottle of water two or three times. We have to turn off the tap after cleaning hands.

The environmental pollution is worse and worse /more and more seriously today. Water is polluted; we have no clean water to drink. Many trees are cutting down, some animals is getting less and less. Some factories are pouring dirty air in the sky, the population is increasing faster and faster, resources are getting less and less…etc. Not only does it affect our lives and health, it but also has a great affection in the future. Peoples health has been greatly affected by air, noise and water pollution. Many people died of diseases. In order to live a better life, we need protect our world。

We shouldn’t throw away rubbish everywhere. We want to recycle, reduce, reuse things .Don’t waste things. This saves money and reduces pollution. Use things for as long as possible. We don’t use plastic bags. We must plant more trees and stop the people cutting them .We hope our world becomes more and more beautiful。

Now in some places of our country, a number of people have been cutting down the trees in the forests because they need wood and more farmland. The areas of forests are getting smaller and smaller. 曾经这儿的天空很蓝，每当我做累了作业，便打开窗户，清新的空气沁人心脾，让人心情舒畅。眺望远处，茂密的树丛为人们遮阴，我还可以看到小鸟在天空中自由自在的飞着，穿梭在绿树间，细细聆听，隐约还传来几声清脆的布谷鸟的叫声。闲暇时，老人和小孩们也爱出来散散步，聊聊天，享受着这难得的时光。一切都是那么美好。

然而，现在这里变了。

我发现，这里不知何时，搬进了许多化工厂。几根高高的烟囱直插云霄，地上，冒出了许多大大小小的罐头，搭起了一座座厂房。再看看远处，依稀还可以看见货车在道路上忙碌的行驶，一切都是那么的突然。我以为这里有了工业，会更加的繁荣，没想到，这正是噩梦的开始。

我发现，天空不再蔚蓝，总是有点灰灰的`，总是能发现窗子边上附着了一些薄薄的灰尘。我还发现，化工厂为了逃避环保部门的检查烟囱白天排放的是洁净的水蒸气，晚上，那刺鼻的烟味就熏的人难以入睡，废气燃烧的巨大噪音吵的人难以入眠。在天空，只有那么几只孤零零的小鸟在空中转悠着，再也不能听到那熟悉的鸟叫了。散步的人也少了，没人愿意在污浊的空气里活动，没想到这儿也成了污染区，并且这几年越来越严重，居住在周边地区的人们也感觉到空气的污浊。

也许他们也做过这样那样的承诺，但是宣传的人多，真正行动的人太少了，那股力量实在是微乎其微，大部分那样的人还是执迷不悟。空气的污染，实在不是一日之时就能改变的。

其实人们不知道，这一切变化正是为他们敲响了警钟，只是让他们更好的生活，不要一步一步的走向灭亡。

对此，我还想向大家发出一些忠告：

1、不要浪费纸张，因为纸张来之不易！

2、不要乱丢垃圾，影响市容市貌！

3、出门时不要忘记关灯，以免浪费一度电！

5、不要在公共场所吸烟，既对自身不好，还污染空气！
