So we have to come together and we are gonna take meaningful action to prevent more

This weekend, Michelle and I are doing what I know every parent is doing – holding our children as close as we can and reminding them how much we love them.

There are families in Connecticut who can’t do that today. And they need all of us right now. Because while nothing can take the place of a lost child or loved one, all of us can extend a hand to those in need – to remind them that we are there for them; that we are praying for them; and that the love they felt for those they lost endures not just in their own memories, but also in their communities, and their country.

It was the first day of our summer holiday. All of us were very happy. Why? Because we have one months to do things we love to do. We are free. Although we have some homework. The summer vacation had come again. I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while. Lest I fool around all through this summer vacation, I made a plan as to how to spend it. First, I thought I should go over all the knowledges that my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a better understanding of them. Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise, such as running and playing basketbal , to keep me physically strong. It stood to reason that with such a good plan I would make the best of my vacation time. I did, because I lived up to what I had planned.
