blind eye to the love. One day I deeply felt the love.

One day I hurried home for lunch after school, because there would be an exam

in the afternoon and I had expected to go back to school early to prepare for

the exam. But when I got home, the lunch was not ready yet. I felt unhappy. When

the dishes were served, I forund none I like. I ran out of my house angrily and

wanderde on the street for a while,hungry. Then I walked to school.

还有短短一周，寒假生活就要结束了。在前面几周的寒假生活中，令我最难忘的，莫过于那次在平乐古镇卖“孔明灯”的经历了。

大年初二，我们一家和几个朋友一起去平乐古镇玩了三天。

我们去那里的第二天晚上，妈妈让我和同去的哥哥一起去卖从成都批发来的孔明灯。于是我就和“小鱼儿”哥哥还有他爸爸我们一起去河坝边卖孔明灯了。

一到河坝边，我们就开始叫卖：“卖孔明灯啰，五元一个，孔明灯……”一开始很冷清，没有人来买。于是我们自己先放了个孔明灯，先把孔明灯拿出来，象放风筝一样，让孔明灯完全展开，然后接上燃料，把燃料固定好以后，就把燃料的四个角点燃，让热气慢慢充满孔明灯，等我们感觉到孔明灯有浮力后，就可以放手了，可是，我们放的这个有点儿漏气，所以没有飞多高就掉下来了。路过的一群人见了，说：“太贵了，质量还不好，……”还是没有人买。于是我们又放了只孔明灯。这次终于成功了。孔明灯缓缓地升上天空，最后消失在夜幕中……然后我们继续叫卖。终于第一个孔明灯卖出去了，是一位老师买的，她还摸着我的头说：“小朋友，好好学习哈，考试要考第一名。”

刚开始，我们的孔明灯都卖五元一个，妈妈负责帮他们点火，还附带帮他们拍照。后来，我们又卖了几个，我们边自己放，边卖，玩得很开心。最后，因为很晚了，所以我们把最后三个十元卖出了。这次我赚了三十元哦。

通过这件事情，我懂得了一个道理：挣钱是很不容易的。这段经历，我会牢牢记住心中。

It was Mother’s Day. Sun Zheng thought he should do something for his mother.

He decided to help his mother do some housework. After school he went to a shop

to buy some food on his way home.

When he got home, he did his best to cook some nice food,though he couldn’t

do the cooking well. Thenhe cleaned the room. He felt very tired, but he was

very happy.

When his father and his mother came back and saw the clean rooms and dishes

which weren’t so nice, they were very happy.They had their supper together. His

mother said, "Thank you,my child!"

There is no doubt that learning English is vital for us. On the one hand,

English has become an international language that people can communicate with

each other in many countries. On the other hand, if we learn English well, we

could get more chance of success.

However, it is well-known that there are many methods for us to learn

English well. There are some tips. First, we can study in a group to improve

learning efficiency. Second, we could listen to English songs and watch English

movies; this way is very suitable for student to improve their listening and

speaking abilities. Third, I have believed that a great deal of practice can

strengthen language knowledge.

In a word, it is natural for us to learn English well by making efforts. If

we didnt work hard, we would never do well in learning English.

It was cooler than yesterday. One of my fathers friends invited me to eat red bayberries. You must know it is unusual. Because we will climb the hill to eat red bayberries. There is no chance to eat red bayberries in the hill for the people who dont live in Beijing. On the hill, you can breathe the fresh air, you can listen birds singing and you can eat red bayberries. It was enjoyable. It is said there are wild pigs in the hill. What a beautiful natural.

This winter is freezing cold. I didn’t have any desire to go out for play.

I always stayed at home. Actually, most of the time I was in my bed. When I felt

anxious for staying inside too long, I will go near the window to wach the

children building snowman or throwing snowballs. It seemed very interesting. But

I just didn’t want to go out. Later my mother found that I was so lazy. Then she

forced me to go out. Since my mother said, I have no excuse to reject. My mother

is right. Though the outside was icy, it’s fantastic. Everything smells fresh.

Since then, I went outside everyday, and then did my homework and felt full of

energy. The holiday ended very soon. It was a lazy holiday.

Dragon Boat race Traditions

At the center of this festival are the dragon boat races. Competing teams drive their colorful dragon boats forward to the rhythm of beating drums. These exciting races were inspired by the villagers valiant attempts to rescue Chu Yuan from the Mi Luo river. This tradition has remained unbroken for centuries.

Tzung Tzu

A very popular dish during the Dragon Boat festival is tzung tzu. This tasty dish consists of rice dumplings with meat, peanut, egg yolk, or other fillings wrapped in bamboo leaves. The tradition of tzung tzu is meant to remind us of the village fishermen scattering rice across the water of the Mi Luo river in order to appease the river dragons so that they would not devour Chu Yuan.

Ay Taso

The time of year of the Dragon Boat Festival, the fifth lunar moon, has more significance than just the story of Qu Yuan. Many Chinese consider this time of year an especially dangerous time when extra efforts must be made to protect their family from illness. Families will hang various herbs, called Ay Tsao, on their door for protection. The drinking of realgar wine is thought to remove poisons from the body. Hsiang Bao are also worn. These sachets contain various fragrant medicinal herbs thought to protect the wearer from illness.

Xiaomei and I went out this morning. We went to the city centre. We went

window shopping, and then we had lunch at the restaurant. We didnt buy anything

as we didnt have much money, but we still had a wonderful time.

海洋公园分为海滨乐园和高峰乐园，他们以一座山峰为界，山的这边为海滨乐园，那边为高峰乐园。我们首先乘缆车来到高峰乐园，在那疯玩一阵后，我们向海滨乐园进发。路上，我从高处往下看，“鳄鱼潭”三个字印入我的眼帘，心中马上就冒出许多问号：鳄鱼潭是什么?是一片泥潭还是什么?里面有多少的鳄鱼?……带着这些疑问，我立刻兴趣又高涨起来，央求妈妈马上去看看，妈妈经不信我的纠缠，同意了。

我们来到到鳄鱼潭，映入眼帘的是一个大水缸，水缸里有小的假山，鱼儿在水中愉快的游着。哇，里面还有一条大鳄鱼，你看它眼睛紧闭，三脚腾空，一只脚站在假山的石头上，尾巴撑着身体站立着。哟!在装死呢!作为家里的摄影大师，我立刻端起照像机，把它的酷样给照了下来。我正要欣赏我的杰作，突然，妈妈大叫起来：“小心!”我本能的回头看了一下妈妈，妈妈指着我。我这才注意到，我站在一个浅池中，池底上铺着红地毯，地毯上有条……妈呀!一条大鳄鱼，正朝我张开那血盆大嘴想尝尝我的肉呢!我吓得六神无主，但求生的本能使我大叫一声“妈呀”并迸出了浅池。“咦”，鳄鱼不但没有跟上来，而且还在那老地方一动未动。于是我小心翼翼地朝它跨出几步，从它的侧面用地图小心地戳了戳它的鼻子，没反应。原来是假的!唉，刚才还被它吓得失魂落魄呢!突然，我意识到，这里不只是我和妈妈两人，瞄了周围，发现大家都在专注的在看我“表演”呢。我的脸马上就红了，灰溜溜的跑到妈妈身边。妈妈笑着对我说：“你也不好意思了，谁让你粗心呢，不注意观察。”

是呀，我是的粗心，疏于观察发生这件让我哭笑不得的窘事，今后我得注意了。

Im so happy today because I got RMB 3,000 in "Lucky Money. "Grandpa alone gave me RMB 1,000. I must try to save this for college though and not waste it. But I think Ill allow myself to use part of it to buy a new dress tomorrow and then Ill put the rest un the bank.

第一章

寒假生活的到来，无疑给咱们这些考试成绩不理想的同学带来了“人间地狱”。随着时间的推移，心情有“多云“变为“晴天”，我仿佛从深渊解救出来一样，又寻回了自由。得到自由的我，贪婪的吮吸自由的空气。从此寒假生活真正的拉开了序幕，进入了主题。

第二章

在寒假里，每天都充满了惊喜，充满了欢笑，充满了新年的气息。随着新春将至，到处都是张张灿烂的笑脸。回到老家的我，天天一股劲的玩，有时和朋友一起上山取材标本，有时和朋友一起打羽毛球，有时到河面砸冰钓鱼。我在玩中学到了知识，锻炼了身体，培养了爱好。

日子一天一天的过去了，终于迎来了主题中的主题——年三十。年三十傍晚，鞭炮声络绎不绝，到处都是欢笑，到处都是新年的气息，到处都出新年的魅力。年初一给人们的欢愉作了“锦上添花”之笔，让人真正感悟快乐，感悟人生。此时的小村，被笑声、鞭炮声、喊声、乐曲声合成的旋律包围着，此时此刻的村子真“可爱”!

第三章

“好花不常开，好景不常在”此话一点也不差。年之将过迎来的便是开学。此时此刻虽不开学但心里却十分不痛快，心里觉得自己犹如一小鸟被困在了鸟笼之中，犹如一个囚犯要行邢。“一寸光阴一寸金，寸金难买寸光阴”，时间如流水般的过去了。转眼，便到了开学之日。我想：即来之，则安之!不想了……

寒假生活随着一声上课铃声走了……在寒假生活中，有过欢乐，有过忧愁，有过感悟，有过烦恼。所以这个寒假过的即充实又有意义。

乐也，忧也，悟也，悠也，一切都随铃声去也!

一次新的体验 A new experience

Yesterday I did commonweal in library to earn my public service

scores(which is similar to the compulsory credits).I arrived library at 8’clock

in the morning,a librarian let me to wipe the mirror in every toilet from one to

six floor.Then I started to wipe the mirrors.It was been two hours after I

finished all work.I was very tired,but looking at the shiny and clean mirrors I

had wiped, I felt very happy.To be honest,I had never done the things like it at

home,so it was a new experience to me,and it make me realize the hard work of my

parent.

昨天，我在图书馆做公益去获取公益实数(类似于学分)。我早上8点到达图书馆，一个图书馆管理员让我去擦一楼到六楼的厕所里的镜子。然后

就开始擦镜子了。等我完成了所有的工作，已经过去两个小时了。我非常地累，但是看着被我擦得干净闪亮的镜子，我感到很开心。说实话，我在家里从来没有做过像这样的事情，所以，这对我来说是一次新的体验，这也让我体会到了父母的艰辛。

It was sunny and warm day. I got up early. After breakfast I went to ..Mountain with my friend Li Lei. It took us about an hour to get there by bus. There were thousands of people. We joined them to climb the mountain as soon as we got there. We felt tired but we kept climbing. It took us about an hour to get to the top of the mountain. The wind was so cool and the scenry was very beautiful. We had a picnic and then we walked down from the mountain. We were very happy that day. In the evening, I surfed the internet and then read an interesting book. I really had a meaningful and happy day.

Yesterday my classmates and I went to on a picnic. According to our plan we

would climb the West Mountain.

Early in the morning all of us gathered at the gate of our school, we

started of at seven, soon it began to have a little rain. We kept on riding for

an hour till we reached the foot of the mountain.

高中的生活开始了一个星期，感觉上还算适应。只有一点，就是功课明显比初三难了，做起来不太得心应手。才几天工夫，就做到晚上九、十点钟。然而，我对此十分赞成。“宝剑锋从磨砺出，梅花香自苦寒来。”我现在时刻有一种忧患意识，怕被拉下，怕被打垮，怕被淘汰。

如果说在初三的日子里，我一边拼命读书，一边还在想如何去玩，去偷几次懒。但现在真的疑心想去读书，读好书。假设真要说有贪玩的心的话，那也只不过乞求多些时间看一下自己喜欢的书，或者多一些时间休息放松。

以前的同学有的进了复兴、师大一附中、北郊;有的进了北虹、虹口、澄衷;有的进了民办。但是我想，无论我在哪所学校，就一定会为之奋斗。当初在初中，整天无所事事，吃完了午饭就天南地北乱吹，不抓紧时间。现在不同了，我的话少了，把中午时间用在学习上。尽管做得不快，却几乎没有浪费时间。

我也明白，做一个星期，几个月容易，但是保持三年甚至一生很难，这需要毅力与信念。我相信自己会坚持完整个高中生活的。

还有另一个现象，可能是我这一群人独有的。那就是，从幼儿园、小学至初中，不少人与我是同窗。典型例子是王某某，这位已经与我同学十一年的朋友还将继续并肩下去。其余同学之间可理出一张条理非常清晰的关系图。如今大家各奔前程，高中同学来自“五湖四海”，还有些陌生。不知道是不是我有狭隘的眼光，反正心中的同学情结还一时退不去。

人总是前进的。

it doesn’t matter that the air-conditioner has been broken. but my notebook-computer also was broken. i really don’t know what to do. so i went to play basketball. i didn’t know any one in that place. and i was the first time to go there to play basketball. at first, there was no person playing basketball. so i played basketball alone. a few minutes later, some students came to play. so we played together. of course, we had a match. and it lasts two hours. after the match, i felt i would be dead. i was too tired.

no computer, i will not know to do what. i have no solution to the problem. so i sent my notebook-computer to the asus computer company. i must have my computer repaired. and the other one, it was thoroughly broken. it can’t be repaired again.the computer company told me that my notebook computer needed one week to repair. the electric led to all trouble. and many electrical appliances are broken. i don’t know when our country can solve the problem.

i have lost two computers, but i had another one. i bought it about five years ago. it can be called curio. though it was old. but it can still work. although it works slowly, i was pleased. i can go on internet again. chatting with my friends is a good relaxing. in the internet, one of my old friends invited me to tomorrow’s party. he told me that some friends would go, too. so i promised to go. a-ha! i can see my old friends. i was very happy and hopeful.

it was sunny today. i was excited. i got up at a quarter to seven. i made a appointment to meet at nine o’clock. after i had my breakfast, i went to the city center of beijing. it was cold outside. when i arrived, my friends didn’t arrive. i waited for him in front of the kfc’s door. i haven’t seen them for a year. and in a year, we didn’t come into contact with others frequently. about ten minutes left, my friends arrived one by one. after we greeted, we went to the 5-star restaurant to have lunch. the lunch cost us 800 yuan. oh, dear! they were all very rich, and one was poor.
