那是一个闷热的下午，令人情绪很烦躁。我正做着妈妈个我买的数学练习题。突然，一道题把我难住了。我计算了很久，还是没有算出正确答案。我想：唉，这题实在是太难做了。还是玩一会儿吧！我正想离开书桌。这时，妈妈问我练习题做完了没有。我说：“有一题我不会做，我先玩一会儿吧！”妈妈耐心地教育我：“世上无难事，只怕有心人。不管遇到什么困难、挫折，只要有决心、有耐心、有信心，一切困难都会化为乌有的。”我听了妈妈的话，我又去钻研这道题，时间一分一秒的过去了。我还是没有算出正确答案，但我没有灰心，继续解答。1分钟、2分钟、3分钟……一个小时过去了，功夫不负有心人，我最后算出了正确答案，妈妈说得真是没错。

这就是我最喜欢的一则格言。因为，是它在我丧气时给我信心，让我自信地挑战困难和挫折。这则格言将成为我终生的座右铭。
