初来乍到新的环境，严苛的校规，陌生的同学，在小学无拘无束的我一下子感到了很多的不“自由”。

苦和甜

跑操是昼锦的特色运动。若在平常，这般强度，我们早就叫苦连天了。可如今漫长的跑道在脚下延伸，哨声和口号声不绝于耳，同学们眼睛里似有熊熊的火焰在燃烧，一圈、两圈……衣服紧紧贴在身上，汗如雨下，虽累，虽苦，大家绝不轻言放弃！我们努力迈动沉重的双腿，踏着整齐划一的步伐，嘴里喊着那个承载着我们信念的口号：千秋万代，十一最帅；斗志昂扬，十一最强！

During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. I wake up 11

oclock Am everyday, after a washing, I have a good lunch with my parents. Next

I play computer games till the time to have supper. After have dinner. I go on

playing till 2 oclock Am, and then go to sleep with tired. This is one dull day

of my winter vacation.

But I havent bored all the time. Sometimes I read the books, sometime I

listen to the music or the radio in the bed, because it was very cold outside

and snowy all the day. And I also meat some of my good friends during the

vacation, we have a very long talk about the life of each other in the past year

and play table tennis tegether. And I watched the spring festival party of the

CCTV in the last seconds of the 2004 year! I think this is the thing most people

My Happy Times During Winter Vacation

I often go to see my grandma and grandpa during winter vacation. They are both seventy years old and live in the country happily. I can do many interesting things there. I am used to getting up early in the morning and breathing the fresh air in the countryside. After snow, I would like to skate and ski with my friends. When night comes, I am used to sitting by the fire and listening to grandma telling me many funny stories. And I tell her some new things happening in the city. When I have to go back, I am always reluctant to go. I really feel happy living in the country.

Summer holiday, is joyful! Is excited! In these happy days, I often get busy.

I remember one day I was writing my homework. Suddenly a large number of guests came to the house, and my mother was too busy to catch her breath. During the summer vacation, my parents took me to the forest park in kunshan. As soon as I got there, my eyes were riveted by the big ship across the room. I cant wait to get my mom and dad to take me to the boat.

Summer life is rich and colorful, it belongs to me alone, others can share, but cannot take it away!

Life in the university is not as satisfactory as what we had expected.

First of all, we are tightly hound by continual classes, excessive homework and exams; some students complain that we are becoming "exam machines". Secondly, the teaching method is boring; instead of lecturing, some teachers just "read" lessons. Finally, living conditions need to be improved; and food in the dining-hall is far from being attractive and tasteful.

In spite of all these adversities we still enjoy our life in the university. During the four-year university study, we can not only acquire a lot of book learning, but also foster various abilities. All types of extracurricular activities such as sports meets, speech contests, different social gatherings and dancing parties provide opportunities to make friends; many of these friendships may last a long time.

In short,we should value our life in the university. Four years is only a short period when compared with our whole lifetime. In the university we mature, and in the university we prepare ourselves for the real world. Although there are many

In my understanding, if we refer to an ideal University life as a formal western dinner, then a high GPA, that is, Grade Point Average, should be the main course, while an active part in activities, together with associations, means the appetizer. Those, however, are not what University life is all about. As we all know, University is wildly different from middle school. Summer can be very hot in southern xx where the temperature usually goes up to 32"C or more. Because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. Also because of this I stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky.
