训练开始了，凛冽的寒风无情地刮着。兔子还在温暖的被窝里，丝毫没有起来的意思。“哎呀，好不容易一个假期我就再睡一会儿吧，下次再练。”兔子正那么想着。忽然，耳边仿佛响起了大家的嘲笑声。“不行，我得起来，训练，加油兔子。”兔子老兄还在为自己鼓劲。兔子在脖子上围了一层又一层的围巾，身体还冷。“没事，兔子，你行的。”兔子老兄还在自言自语。它先做了跑前运动。可是还没做一会，手脚就冻僵了。“好了，开始跑。”兔子从牙缝里蹦出来几个字。双脚活动开了，也不太冷了，兔子终于跑得有感觉了。就在这时，天上飘下了一片片晶莹剔透的雪花。不一会儿，就大雪纷飞了。“哎呀，下雪了，还下得那么大，要不回去？不行，我必须坚持到底，而且一边晨跑，一边看雪景未尝也不是坏事呀。”没想到在兔子的身上还能见到几分正能量。

就这样，日复一日。严冬，酷暑，严冬，酷暑……兔子变得越来越勤奋，一点儿也不懒惰了。兔子有了足够的信心之后便向乌龟大哥挑战了，它给乌龟写一封挑战书，内容如下：

亲爱的乌龟兄，你好！我是被你打败了不知多少次的兔子，由于我一味地被你打败，心里很不服气。所以最近一直在训练，为了展现效果，特请大哥本周日中午在南山小树林一决高下。

兔子把信寄出去后就料到，乌龟一定会来，因此它一直准备着。果然不出所料，乌龟回信了，内容如下：

亲爱的兔兄，我接受你那无知的挑战，因为你是比不过我的。要记住，我乌龟才是永远的强者。好自为之。祝你好运。

星期日中午，南山小树林，兔子和乌龟又见面了，冤家路窄，好在比赛马上开始。裁判员狮子深吸一口气，吹了一下口哨。兔子开始狂奔，乌龟也不甘落后。到了大树旁，兔子只是瞄了一眼，咬了咬牙，硬着头皮绕了过去，兔子终于跳跃了，心情也变得活跃了起来。不一会儿就到了终点。这一次兔子成了名副其实的冠军，在场的观众为它而喝彩，而乌龟还没到一半的路程。

在奖杯和鲜花的衬托下，兔子脸上的泪珠格外晶莹。
