我把球轻轻一抛，准备传给我方后卫邓付易，可没想到对方前锋用前脚一挡，抢了过去。他们发起了第二轮进攻，我猛地朝球门退去，用手接住了球，可我重心不稳，狠狠地摔倒在地上。我硬撑着爬起来，把球发了出去。邓付易看着我，用手指了指我的膝盖，我低头一看，我的膝盖鲜血直流。他问我要不要喊暂停，我看了一眼正在拼命往对方球门进攻的队员们，知道这是一个好时机，便摇了摇头。

谁知，对方中锋猛地向前，径直踢走了球，球飞速朝对方前锋滚来，他们又一次发起了进攻。“砰！”这一脚力度非常大，我看着球飞速地滚来却力不从心，因为我的腿连站都快站不稳了，我的心提到了嗓子眼，这时邓付易跑过来用身体拦下了这个球，我的心才落了下来。我既惭愧又骄傲，惭愧的是作为守门员的我面对对方进攻的球却无能为力，骄傲的是我的队友与我配合得天衣无缝。

我缓了缓，发球，继续比赛。看着球场上飞奔的队友，那股自豪感，那种骄傲情在我的内心升腾。最终，我们不仅赢得了这场几乎不可能取胜的比赛，而且获得了三比零的优异成绩。

Are professional success and a fulfilling personal life mutually exclusive? Probably not, although it is more difficult today to achieve both.

Undeniably, todays professionals must work long hours to keep their heads above water, let alone to get ahead in life financially. This is especially true in Japan, where cost of living, coupled with corporate culture, compel professional males to all but abandon their families and literally to work themselves to death. While the situation here in the states may not be as critical, the two-income family is now the norm, not by choice but by necessity.

However, our societys professionals are taking steps to remedy the problem. First, they are inventing ways such as job sharing and telecommuting to ensure that personal life does not take a back seat to career. Second, they are setting priorities and living those hours outside the workplace to their fullest. In fact, professional success usually requires the same time-management skills that are useful to find time for family, hobbies, and recreation. One need only look at the recent American presidents-Clinton, Bush, Reagan and Carter- to see that it is possible to lead a balanced life which includes time for family, hobbies, and recreation, while immersed in a busy and successful career. Third, more professionals are changing careers to ones which allow for some degree of personal fulfillment and self-actualization. Besides, many professionals truly love their work and would do it without compensation, as a hobby. For them, professional and personal fulfillments are one and the same.

The Miserable World is a novel which reflects the miserable life and the misfortunate of the poor guys in France when it is the middle of nineteen century. The name of the book indicates the suffering from the great difficulities. The book put emphsis on the tradegy and the position of the low classes and this is the most exciting and important aspect, which makes the readers have deep thinking about the life.

In the details of the book, we know the men are upset because they were in the low class and were having a poor life, women’ behavior deviates from what is acceptable especially in sexual behavior because of starving and children are so weak that they can grow strong and keep healthy in the old days of the world. So the author, Victor Hugo, hoped that all the people could have a bright future and have a good life, and the the famous work came into being. We know that the autho, Victor Hugo, had a boarder sense. He thought because if the world continued to stay as it was, the world could come to an end. The great artist were very brave to fight against the old displines. This novel is of great value because it describes history and reality in the past. We, people in modern society, should learn something from it and try to make the world perfect and harmony.

我有一个敬佩的人——我的爸爸。他戴着一副眼镜，里面还藏着一双炯炯有神、好像会和你说话的眼睛。

他不是老师、不是医生、也不是科学家，他只是一位修车的，你们不要小瞧他，他可了不起呢！

有一天，我正在爸爸那里，听到一位叔叔打电话过来，有礼貌的问：“您是专业修车的吗？我在XX小区，我的车好像出了点问题，可以过来帮我处理一下吗？”

爸爸回答：“好的，马上就到。”挂完电话，爸爸飞快地跑到工作车上，见我也上车，关上车门，一个飘移再加速，就到了大马路上。虽然路程有点远，但是爸爸很快就到了目的地。下车后，一只手提着工具箱，另一只手牵着我找到那里。这时叔叔说他需要上厕所，让爸爸保管一下他的手机，便急忙地跑走了。

爸爸马上进入工作状态，打开汽车引擎盖，查找问题的原因。不一会儿，发现原来是一颗小石子卡在里面了。这时叔叔回来了，很感谢爸爸为他解决了问题。我们就回店里去了。刚到店里，爸爸发现那位叔叔的手机还在他工作服口袋里，放下手头的工作，开车找到了那人，那叔叔连忙谢谢，还说，像爸爸这样的修车师傅还是第一次见着。

记得还有一次，一位中年阿姨开了车过来，说要补胎。爸爸拿来千斤顶，把车身顶住，下轮胎、补轮胎、上轮胎，忙个不停。这时打完电话的阿姨随手把手机放在办公桌上，我正打算提醒她把手机保管好的时候，爸爸让我去写作业了。

等写完作业出来的时候，看到手机单单落在桌子上，爸爸着急了，知道阿姨刚走没一会儿，可他的公车刚被收走……怎么办？正好旁边有辆自行车，爸爸带着我使劲地追赶。在阿姨等红绿灯的时候，爸爸终于追上她，还了手机，她感激不尽。

这就是我的爸爸，勤恳工作老老实实的爸爸，总是为顾客着想的爸爸。

Free Admission to Parks

To encourage people to go outside and relax, a mounting number of parks offer free admission now. People benefit from it, especially during these tough economic times. With free entry, more people will have the opportunity for affordable vacations for families, taking pleasure in the natural landscape.

Fresh air and landscapes in parks are good for people. However, too many people

flocking into parks might not be so good for the parks.

For example, some visitors leave their garbage behind, which may cause environmental pollution. And people’s barbeques and stamping will also bring damage to the grassland and other greeneries in parks.

As a university student, I’m in favor of free admission to parks. Free entry to parks not only saves people’s expenditure, but also makes things fairer — people like the poor and students can go to parks frequently as well. On the other hand, visitors should be informed to preserve the environment while enjoying the beauty of the nature.
