I Like Sunny Days

I really like sunny days. My mood is very good on sunny days because the sun is shining and I can see the beautiful sky. On days when the weather is not good, I would have to stay outside, and it can become boring. However if it is sunny I can enjoy the outdoors. 在修筑人工岛的地方有一层15到20米厚的淤层。约800万立方米。由于淤泥的物理属性，使在上面抛石或常规重力式沉箱，会因淤泥打滑，地基不稳。如果用清除淤泥法，不仅耗时，还会对海洋造成伤害和大面积的环境污染。

I am twenty-three years old and have an honors degree in Botany from Bath

University. Since leaving university I have been working in a research

laboratory but my contract comes to an end in six weeks. I would particularly

like to join the expedition for the opportunity it would give me to study the

plant life of the area.

I enjoy several outdoor activities including rowing and rock climbing and I

consider myself to be both fit and healthy enough to undertake such an

一曲《中国少年先锋队队歌》拉开了表彰大会的序幕。伴着音乐我们一起歌唱，嘹亮的歌声响彻大厅，我们期待着那振奋人心的时刻！

“进步的就是优秀的。”程主任的话至今在我脑中萦绕。虽说以前上课间操时，也举行过表彰大会，但远没有这一次隆重庄严。这次颁奖，是表彰在期中考试中最优秀的同学。奖项共有十二个，有“优秀学生干部”、“年级十佳”、“孝亲标兵”、“阅读之星”、“书写之星”等等，每个奖项都代表着不同的荣誉。

首先颁发的是“阅读之星”，在令人激动的进行曲中，获奖同学在大方得体的礼仪同学引导下，昂首挺胸排成纵队，走上了颁奖台……学校领导给获奖同学颁奖，把鲜红的奖状送到他们手中，摄影师一次次按动快门，记录下同学们成长的历程和灿烂的笑容……

我有幸被评为“优秀学生干部”，当我手捧奖状听到台下同学们热烈的掌声时，一种责任和敬畏感油然而生，那是老师对我的肯定和厚望，那是同学对我的信任和鼓励……我为自己，更为身边强大的集体而骄傲！

十二个奖项的颁发，整个下午的活动，同学们都予以一次次热烈的掌声，连平日里爱动的一年级同学都坐得端端正正，这就是我们学校良好校风的展现！

“求真务实，追求卓越；双语兴盛，我的责任，祖国兴盛，我的责任。”我为我是双语学子而骄傲！

11月16日，天空分外湛蓝，11月16日，又是一个新的起点！

那宏伟的万里长城如一条巨龙腾飞在中国；那广大的青藏高原扎根在中国；滔滔的黄河长江奔腾在中国。我，是一个中国人，我骄傲！

我是一个中国人，我骄傲！中华上下五千年的历史，造就了无与伦比的文化。中国的四大发明，造福了全世界；中国精美的瓷器在世界瓷器中占着一席之地；中国儒学，到现在都广为致用。

我是一个中国人，我骄傲！每当我耳边响起雄壮的《义勇军进行曲》，我总会肃然起敬，我的脑海中总会浮现出革命先辈们威我们冲锋陷阵、英勇杀敌的画面。

我是一个中国人，我骄傲！2008年的第29届奥林匹克运动会在北京举行。从以前0金牌到雅典奥运会上，我国金牌数突破到世界第二，这是多大的进步啊！

我是一个中国人，我骄傲！“神舟五号”的发明，证明了中国的进步，使中国成为第三个可以载人进入太空的国家。

我是一个中国人，我骄傲！在汶川大地震中，中华民族自强不息的精神特别突出，救援队的奋力拼搏，只为多一个生命活下去；受难者们坚强抵抗，只为多给祖国一点力量。

今天，我们的生活安逸，幸福快乐，但我们仍应有为祖国跟富强献身的远大志向，让我们用全部的才干与智慧来建设我们的祖国吧！最后，我要深切的大喊一句：“骄傲——我是一名真正的中国人！”

Dear Mr. Wang,

Thank you for taking the time to write your wonderful letter in support of

MCEA (Maywood Chinese Education Association). Your letter clearly articulates

all the major reasons children in Maywood will benefit from studying the Chinese

language as part of their elementary school education. It provides invaluable

support that will help making bilingual Chinese education a reality in Maywood

public schools.

Although MCEA would like to see Palo Alto public schools implement the

first bilingual Chinese kindergarten class in September of 2006, we have learned

that the school district must take the time to understand how a new program will

affect existing educational offerings, and to validate community interest.

Nevertheless, MCEA, with more than 70 members, will continue to actively promote

bilingual Chinese education in the Palo Alto public schools and will keep you

apprised of the progress we make.

Thanks again for sending a letter in support of MCEA. We will continue to

do all we can to realize this program both for families of Chinese descent and

those with a general interest in participating in the growing economic power of

China.

As an engineering student majoring in environmental systems, I have strong awareness of the environment and want to work in the field of environmental protection. There are three feasible ways, in my opinion, which can raise public awareness of our surrounding environment. Firstly, the appropriate education in schools can be applied to build our concept on the importance of environment and it should be taken good care. Secondly, more and more green or environmental promotions should be carried out. For example, use public transportation more frequently instead of private vehicles; print double-sided instead of one-sided to save papers. Furthermore, researches on clean energy and sustainable development should be enhanced. The natural resources on earth is not infinite and we should seek for a better method to protect our circumstance in the long run.

世界上，没有两片一模一样的树叶。在树叶那多姿多彩的世界里，每一片都有自己的独特魅力。倾听树叶的语言——

红树叶。它是一把小小的红雨伞，在淅淅沥沥的小雨中，透过一丝生命。它有着红色的血脉，浸透着全身，流动着红色的体温。它的世界里，一切都是生命。它喜欢红，渴望红，耽溺红，眷恋红。“红”使它拥有一种最纯的真性情。

黄树叶。它把自己的身躯融入到生活，把静止的色彩幻化成翻飞的动力。它跑遍大江南北，留下无数的足迹。飞舞，是它永恒的姿态；信念，是它飞舞的动力；永恒，是它生命的价值。它的生命，没有终点，只有开始。

绿树叶。它把色彩赋予了原本看不见的空气、光影、声音和思绪，在它的世界里，一切都是绿色。它给世界带来了恬静与安详，平和与宁静。它唤醒了沉睡的一切，为健康带来希望。

橙树叶。它的叶脉织成了橙色的衣裙，就像那天边的云彩，为天空努力抹上最后一笔亮丽的色彩。它是欢快活泼的光辉色彩，是最让人感到温暖的颜色。它悄悄地走进秋天，那是五谷丰登，硕果累累的景象！因为橙色，秋天不再是以往的秋天，世界因此而改变！

紫树叶。它将自己悬挂，做成了一串紫色的风铃。透明的微风，碰响了它的心灵。它高贵但不高傲，自信但不自负。它把最秘密的信息，传给最秘密的心灵，它在枝头微笑着说：“愿我那轻响的风铃，能带给你叮叮当当的快乐！”

在生命的花园里，也许我们不是牡丹，不是玫瑰，亦不是芍药和郁金香，但我们可以是一片树叶，一片普普通通的树叶，在无人问津中绽放属于自己的美丽。树叶是落入凡间的信，化作叶儿，绽放的是天使的心灵。

不用去想别人拥有多么美丽的太阳，要知道每天的夕阳也会有变化。也许我们只拥有一颗星，但也可以绽放属于自己的美丽，只要日积月累，积少成多，就能拥有一片星空。在广袤无垠的宇宙中，太阳自然也显得渺小了。

即使你只是一只丑小鸭，其貌不扬，只要你有一颗善良、友爱的心，一样会得到人们的尊重和爱戴，一样能绽放属于自己的美丽。即使你是一只丑陋的毛毛虫，但你努力地织茧，坚强地破茧而出，当你变成蝴蝶，在天空中划过一道优美的弧线时，你也绽放出了属于自己的美丽。而这种美丽，是永远不会消失的，它早已化为了永恒。

流动中的魅力充满着朝气，在太阳下分享呼吸，在蓝天下自由微笑。岁月绽放青春笑容，让我们都加油去超越自己，有梦想谁都了不起，有勇气就会有奇迹，w我是学生，绽放出属于自己的美丽。
