Leifeng was known as a pattern that offered help to others selflessly. He

devoted all this life into his beloved career as well. I, myself, was totally

shocked by his character.

Such is human nature; people trace the good, water flows to low. Everyone

should copy his sprit as our daily life goes instead of uttering a meaningless

slogan “learn from Leifeng, our decent idol”, so that we could definitely see a

lot more smiling faces rather than conflict.

To help others is not a hard thing, however, what you need is to consist

doing it. Take myself as an example. I am the representative of Math, to collect

到了考试那天，我和同学高高兴兴进了考场。坐在位置上焦急的等待发卷子，试卷一到手，我走马观花似地浏览了一遍，一看题目非常简单，对我来说简直小菜一碟。我就飞快地拿起笔，做了起来。连题目都没看清楚，我就开始做了，我做得飞快，转眼之间，我已做完第一面，但我一看四周，很多人都已做到作文了，而我才做到阅读分析，我写得更快了。不一会儿，我就把阅读分析给做完了。我一看作文题目，呀！原来是以前写过的一篇作文啊：是我最感动的一件事。我心里想，我这篇作文在作文本上还拿了47分呢！于是我便飞快地写了起来，里面有很多病句，我连看都没看，就急着要交卷子，谁知道广播里说，离交卷还有15分钟。我扫视了一下周围，有几个写完的在检查卷子。我心里喜滋滋的，心想这一次一定会考得比以前还好。

过了几天，试卷发下来。我才考了97分，我心里难过极了。我一听傻眼了，多想这是一场梦。可是，这是现实呀！放学时我拒绝朋友们的邀请，踩着孤单的影子回家了。那天，我第一次觉得回家的路好短好短，不一会儿就到了自家门口，我忘记了我是怎么进那扇门的，也忘记了是怎么面对父母的。只记得那天，我好像生活在半睡半醒的梦中，我拖着沉重的步伐进了书房，伏在书桌上。

外面，冷雨敲打着窗户；屋内，泪水肆意流淌。在父母的劝导下，在姐姐的安慰下，我依然选择了坚强，我背起理性的行囊，让那次失败成为过去，成为教训，同时也成为我人生中宝贵的财富。从此，我踏上了谦虚之路，不再骄傲了。

春天，人们在一幢五层的居民楼旁种下一棵果树和一株爬山虎。

可能是移栽的缘故，果实一直没缓过劲来，长出的叶子小小的，开出的花蔫蔫的，而且一个果实也没结出来。爬山虎就不一样了，它的适应性很强，不久，爬山虎就钻出了新芽，越长越快，越长越高，没多少日子就超过了果树，油亮亮的叶子在阳光下闪着亮眼的绿光，从它身旁走过的居民不由自主地发出啧啧的赞叹声。

夜晚，爬山虎讥笑道：“丑果树，你可比不上我，我比你长得快，比你长得高，瞧你那熊样，人们连看都懒得看你。”

“谁也没必要瞧不起谁，”果树平静地说，“关老爷不是也有走麦城的时候吗？”

“你……你肯定是嫉妒我了，才……才这样说！”爬山虎恼羞成怒道，“你这么丑，这么矮，根本不配和我一起生长，如果有手，我真恨不得把你连根拔起扔到外面去。”

转眼到了第二年春天，果树开出了簇簇如霞的花朵，引来了蜜蜂，招来了蝴蝶，更把人们艳羡的目光和啧啧的赞叹全囊括了。而爬山虎即便百般招摇自己的叶子，也无法再获得人们的青睐了。

又一个夜晚来临了，爬山虎垂头丧气地说：“看来，人们真的不喜欢我了，我活着还有什么意思。”

“其实，每个人的存在都是有价值的。”果树劝慰爬山虎道，“只要你努力了，人们一定会感激你的。”

炎炎的夏天过去了。一天，两位老奶奶在果树下聊天。“老姐姐，今年夏天比每年都热，可我家很凉快，都没怎么开空调，您说这是咋回事？”张奶奶对李奶奶说。“我儿子说了，这都是爬山虎的功劳，您看它长得这么密实，把阳光给挡住了。”李奶奶答道。

爬山虎听了，向果树投来感激的目光，叶子发出哗哗的笑声。

秋天来了，果树结出了又红又大，又香又甜的果子。爬山虎则将爬满墙壁的叶子换成了七彩霞衣，秋风乍起，片片彩叶像一只只硕大的蝴蝶在墙上翕动着，振翅欲飞。

大人们来了，也孩子们来了。人们品尝着果实，说着笑着；孩子们追逐着彩叶，跑着闹着。果树和爬山虎会心地笑了。

骄傲是一堵墙，将我们和真正的成功阻隔起来，只有丢掉骄傲，在我们谦虚的请教中，才能一步步迈向光明的的未来。

我一直以为自己的成绩还行，自从上了中学尽管学业任务加重了不少，老师一遍遍强调学习的重要性，我依然像个没事人一样无动于衷。一次次的考试证明，这样盲目的骄傲是不正确的，让我慢慢的走向了失败。看着成绩的的降低，我也着急起来。

看着整个年级的成绩表，我由衷的认识到了自己的不足，原来在这个年级里，有这么多高手，学霸甚至是学神！我的那点成绩是多么的不足，在一群学霸中间，显得多么的渺小。

在扫过一个名字的时候，我很震惊。那是一个我的小学同学，在上小学的时候，他在班级里是多么的不起眼，成绩很差，但人很好，学习很认真，对于老师布置的任务，他总是一丝不苟的完成，在小学就经常熬夜学习到十点多。我对他映像很深刻，是因为一次很难的作业。

题很难，我只是扫了几遍就放弃了，第二天老师检查时只有他和另一额我同学做了。有另一位同学我并不震惊，他是那种经常考满分的学生。它的出现着实让我震惊，后来才知道，他问了很多人，稿纸用了两大张才解出来。

这次让我震惊的是，他竟然一跃成为了班里的前几名，年级排名也很可观，相比较而言，原本比他成绩好一大块的我竟然被他拉开了几十名。被别人超越心里自然好受不起来，我把他的各科成绩和我的进行对比。企图发现点什么，让我自己有个借口，继续欺骗自己，麻痹自己的内心。

可是他的每科成绩都很平均，没有说哪科特别出色，在几门科目上，我甚至考得比他还好，但在某些上我却被他落下了许多。找到他和他聊起这件事，他的回答让我愧疚，又有些心酸。他的回答很简单，“没什么，就是比你们多努力而已，我可以为了一道不懂的题而研究到半夜，你们确没有这个耐心。”

我不是输在了智力上，而是输在了我的骄傲中，输在了我的懒惰中。那位同学，他用他自己的经历告诉我，骄傲和努力用功的不同结局。我要由衷的感谢他。

成功都是用努力换来的，没有付出努力的骄傲的人，又怎么会获得成功呢？

Low-carbon life is good for everyone. To help with the environment, I

always walk or ride a bike to school instead of taking a car. Besides, I will

try to use things that can be recycled and I never forget to turn off the lights

when I leave the classroom. I think it’s my duty to live a low-carbon life. And

even the simplest activities can make a real difference to the environment. So I

suggest we should reuse books as long as possible. And we’d better not spend

much money on expensive clothes. If everyone does something for the environment,

I believe the earth will be a better place.

People always say that spring is the most beautiful season. But I don’t

think so. I like summer, autumn even winter better than spring. Because the

weather in spring is changeable. Maybe it is warm today, it will be cold

tomorrow. I often catch a cold in spring. Besides this, it often rains in

spring. I can’t go out to play ball games. I have to stay at home to spend my

time. How boring it is! Some people think the flowers in spring are very

beautiful, but I think the flowers in winter are more beautiful, because they

live through the extremely cold weather and we should learn from them.

On the evening of September 9th, 2011 , I lost a Samsung digital camera in the English reading-room on the 4th floor of the new library in the west district of our uruversity.

The digital camera can be generally described as follows. It is brand new and silver gray in color with a black leather coat. Whats more, the camera is as big as a piece of cake and as light as a regular mobile phone.

相信大家一定都有让自己骄傲的事，学习好，美术好，音乐好等。让我自己骄傲的事就是体育好。

每次体育测试的时候想我都能为自己的班级加分，使我们班每次的排名都很考前。每一次测四百米，我在班里都能跑前五。还有五十米，我都在七秒五以前。

我不仅是跑步好，更让我骄傲的还有我踢了一脚好球。

每次学校踢校长杯我都能成为我们班的助理队员，无论是守门还是前锋我都能踢的很好。

有一次我们成功踢到了决赛，和实力较强的601班争夺冠军，一开始我们就进了一球，本以为胜劵在握，所以我们放松了警惕，使得一班也进了一个球，直到下半场我们还是没有进球，还剩十分钟了时间非常紧张，可能是因为体力原因，一班的防守漏洞百出，我借此机会进了一个球，对方实在不行了，我又进了一个，最后裁判的哨声带来了比赛的结束，我们夺得了冠军。

这就是我让我自己骄傲的事，回想起来我自己都佩服我自己。

俗话说：虚心使人进步，骄傲使人落后。这句名言十分简单，却意味深长，更是给了我无尽的启示。

最近的一次，我们进行第八单元的语文考试。前七单元的考试，我都考得不错，班级里的排名也都在前三名，而且错的题目没有一道是因为粗心或平时不认真造成的，作文也都一分没扣。

我一想到前七单元的成绩就感到骄傲。在第八单元考试前，我没有认认真真地复习；考试时，也不像以往那样仔细了，好一些题目还忘记了应该怎样写，绞尽脑汁都想不出个究竟，最后时间都来不及了，作文也草草收尾。

第二天，试卷发下来了，我看了看分数，顿时惊呆了，天啊！只有94分，不可能吧！我把试卷前前后后都看了一遍，也没找出老师改错的地方。再仔细看看错题，前两分因为平时背诵不过关，关联词没填对，标点也不对；一句话没通顺被扣了一分；后面的阅读题没看仔细扣了两分；作文也扣了一分。我扭过头去看后面的同学，哇，平时成绩比我差的后排同学居然也考了95分！我走了一圏，好多平时成绩不错的同学都比我好，最高分有98呢！我感到十分惭愧、后悔，心里就像打翻了五味瓶，非常不是滋味，唉！要是当初认真背诵，好好复习，仔细做题，细致检查，说不定可以好个三、四分，可是现在连后悔都没有用了。我心中默默地想：期末考试我一定要努力，不骄傲，争取得个好成绩。

Thanks for your last letter. Im so glad that you have been able (at last! ) to arrange a holiday in Australia. As I fear I wont be able to meet you at the airport when you arrive, nor will I be able to be home until later in the afternoon, so here are some instructions and suggestions.

There is a bus from the airport to the city. It is much cheaper than a cab. Take the bus to the city and ask to get off at Town Hall railway station.

To get to my place in the eastern suburbs you have three options. You can either take a cab, a bus or the train. I suggest you take the train, since the airport bus will leave you right at the station. Get off at Cliff Station. From there you can either walk to my place (about ten minutes) or take a taxi. Probably you should take a taxi as you will have luggage.

When you arrive at my flat, ring the intercom for Flat 2. My friend Lillian will be at home and she will open the front door for you and let you into my flat.

Presumably you will be tired and want to sleep. But if you feel like some exercise after that long flight, you could stroll down to Cooper Park, which is only ten minutes away ? you can see it from the window.

这两天宅在家，看了BBC的6集纪录片Wild

China，中文名叫《美丽中国》。用创作者的话说，这是反映“中国人民及野生动物与所住的非凡山水的互动关系”的纪录片。

中国是巨大的，中国也是美丽的。如何反映巨大中国的美丽，确实是一个难题。至少对我们中国人来说也不是件容易的事情。西方人看东西的角度跟我们真是很不一样，我们总喜欢宏大叙事，而他们则喜欢从细微的东西入手。

云南的热带风光、贵州的卡斯特地貌、海南的红树林海滩、南中国海壮丽的珊瑚礁、新疆的戈壁沙漠、内蒙古逐渐变化的草原牧场、东北的平原与山脉，中原广袤的平原、南方的丘陵与坡地……漫步在中华大地上，壮丽的自然风光与纷繁复杂的物种令人震撼与感动。

可以说，纪录片展示的都是经过精挑细选的中国美的一面。摄影师们追求唯美，因为拍摄角度不同，所以平时看起来很普通的事物也都具有了特异的美感，甚至让我产生了不真实的感觉。当片中出现蛇岛中的蝮蛇张口吞下一个大它蛇口两倍的鸟雀时，镜头慢慢地移动，我也开始感到毛骨悚然——太细致了。

感谢摄影师的敬业精神，让我们看到了很多非常稀有的镜头。有些画面，从放映角度看拍摄角度，取景应当是非常非常困难的，甚至是可遇不可求的，更别说拍那些野生动物的出没了。如果没有长时间的耐心和坚守，是决不可能完成的。例如南方渔民潜海捕虾，连渔民都不敢说一次就能成功捕获，更别说拍摄了。

中国，一只傲然在东方的雄鸡，我为是中国人而骄傲。

我们又要怎样去感恩对祖国妈妈的爱戴呢？我认为作为一名小学生，我们能做的要是力所能及，尽管不是冒着生命危险去冲锋陷阵，不是守卫祖国的边疆。但只要我们做好了，做到最好了，祖国妈妈也会开心，快乐。我们只要做到，上课认真听讲，下课尽情玩耍，休息，按时完成老师布置的作业，业余时间，去学习自己想学，想做的事情，爱劳动，在家做妈妈的小棉袄，在校做老师的小助手。养成好习惯，改掉坏习惯，努力发展，“德智体美劳”全面发展。
