i went to the countryside to spend my summer holidays this year. i liked green plants, clear rivers lovely amimals there.i breathed the fresh air on the mountain sometimes i went swimming in the river. i kept a diary every day.

i liked not the scene of the countryside, also the people there. i helped them to do farm work. i also helped the children in the neighbourhood with their lessons. the children were interested in english. they were good at reading writing, did not do well in listening speaking. i helped them improve their listening speaking. their parents thought highly of me. i realized that knowledge is greatly needed in the countryside.

今年我去农村过暑假。我喜欢那儿绿油油的植物，清澈的小河和可爱的动物。我在山上呼吸新鲜的空气，有时在河里游泳。我每天记日记。

The summer vacation had come round again.

暑假又来了。

I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while. Lest I fool around all through this summer vacation, I made a plan as to how to spend it.

对于一个学生的我来说，又能把学校这个字眼抛掷脑后一段时间了；^_^；对于这个暑假，我给自己定了如下计划：

First, I thought I should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a better understanding of them.

首先，我会把老师教过的课本，重新温习一次，以便于我能对其有更为深入、彻底的了解。

Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running rowing, to keep me physically strong.

其次，我会锻炼身体；比如，走走路啊，跑步啥的，这样我的身体会更加强壮。

It stood to reason that with such a good plan I should make the best of my vacation time. I did, because I lived up to what I had planned.

对于给自己定的这个暑假计划，我会尽力去做到最好。 我认为我也能做到。因为，我给自己做了严格的计划。

[暑假又来了英语作文

今年暑假，我和小伙伴们参加了小海军夏令营，三天的生活丰富多彩，充满了欢乐与新奇。但印象最深的，却是一件让我们很多人都潸然泪下，触动心灵的感人事情。

“起床啦，起床啦!”那天，我们被教官们的叫喊声，从被窝里拖了出来。大家使劲揉揉眼睛，不停地打着哈欠，眼睛半开半合地抓起床头皱巴巴的小海军服和帽子穿上。然后一边抱怨一边极不情愿地叠好沉甸甸的被子，拖着有气无力的步子来到洗手间洗脸刷牙。一切完毕，刚想回寝室休息，却听见尖锐的集合哨声传遍整个宿舍楼。大家赶紧以最快的速度飞奔到一楼，挤进散乱不堪的队伍，开始和队友窃窃私语起来。教官们皱着眉头，打量着眼前的队伍，试图维持好秩序，却一点用都没有。他们只好就这样带着我们去晨跑。然而，晨跑时，大家依然打打闹闹，嘻嘻哈哈，无视了教官们焦虑的眼神。

吃早饭了，大家还在和一旁的同伴交头接耳。这下，总教官看不下去了。但他没有直接批评我们，而是下令让教官们集体到餐厅门口罚站，不许吃饭，反思!顿时，原本热闹的餐厅一片寂静，大家都沉默了，不敢发出任何声音。总教官开口了：“教官们每天早起晚睡，为你们而付出，可是你们呢?不仅没有回报教官，还一直这么吵吵闹闹，这应该吗?你们还吃得下饭吗?”这句话格外响，把大家震住了，都轻轻放下碗筷，低下了头。总教官转过头，对着教官们严肃地说：“是你们对不起孩子们，没把他们教好!向他们道歉!”

“对不起!”教官们充满歉意而洪亮的声音，久久地回荡在餐厅里。我的眼睛里开始不自觉地噙满了泪水。这时，一阵椅子的挪动声打破了宁静，一个男孩勇敢地走到总教官面前，做出了我们想做而不敢做的事。他用坚定而带着哭腔的声音说：“我愿意跟教官们一起受罚!”总教官带着赞赏的目光表扬了他，然后对着我们说：“你们知错了吗?如果知错了，就去把你们的教官拉回来，和你们一起吃饭吧。”这下，我们很多人都忍不住哭了出来，并纷纷起身，去拉自己的教官。虽然教官再三推辞，但终究拗不过我们，大家在泪眼中互望，咧嘴笑了。

终于，所有人都安静地开始吃饭。此时，我的眼中依然含着泪，嘴里大口地吞咽着饭菜，而心中，却感觉有一棵小芽正在悄悄地萌发，悄悄地成长。
