我被查出患有脑炎。年仅四岁的我，在医院里虚度了一个月的光阴，变胖了。而母亲在这一个月里瘦了许多。由此可知，母亲为我的病费了不少的心思。整个人都憔悴了。这时，我感到一种从来没有发现的伟大。那就是母亲的伟大。

几个月后，母亲病倒了。我从外婆那里得知：我患脑炎的一个月里，母亲基本没有吃东西。

这时，我的眼睛湿润了。是啊!在这世界上能够对自己的儿女无私奉献的人，恐怕只有她一个!
