省赛的准备过程是非常艰难的，又是背台词，又是准备自我介绍，还有模拟考试。仅仅是看图说话环节，一训练就是一上午……

终于迎来了省赛。我怀着紧张的心情走进赛场，里面很安静，选手们都在努力地背词，我也不甘示弱。自我介绍环节，我们都做得非常好，看图说话环节就比较惨了，得知成绩后，我的心情非常低落，爸爸妈妈安慰我，要我别泄气，要我在下午最后一个环节加油，还特意给我复习了几遍演讲内容，我的心情又明朗起来。下午的比赛开始了，轮到我上场了，我站在台上，信心十足地完成了演讲，最后的分数还不错哦！

我的20xx年“希望之星”英语风采大赛结束了，虽然我没有踏上国赛舞台，但是我虽败犹荣！这个过程中，我见识到了那些高手们的厉害！我一定要好好学习英语！我一定会回来的！明年再战！

我们的生活就像一瓶百味酒，酸、甜、苦、辣……今日在此一聚，那就谈谈那让人愉快的味道——甜。

今年我有生日，家人们问我想要什么样的礼物，我神秘的一边笑一边说：“我想要一份你们每个人发自内心想送给我的东西就可以了。因为物轻情意重。不管礼物轻重，有心就可以了。”家人听了，笑着点了点头。

等到我生日的前一个晚上，我一想着明天的生日，我十分兴奋，一直在想像着会是什么样的生日派对呢？

生日的那天早上，妈妈神秘地跟我说：“宝贝，生日快乐！我带你去一个地方，相信你一定会非常的惊喜。”

妈妈一路上沉默着，让我自己猜。我的心里的确有个谜团：到底要带我去哪呢？我生日都还没过呀？

下车后，妈妈原来把我带到了顺峰山公园。我十分纳纳闷，不是在这里逛逛就算吧！我还没见到爸爸、奶奶、爷爷呢！我心里的那一块大石还一直挂在心上，不上不下的。

一下子，我们就来到了大草坪上，我的眼前一亮。居然有很多我熟悉的人在这里野餐。有爸爸、奶奶、爷爷、姑妈、表哥……

表哥和表妹一蹦一跳地走了过来说：“生日快乐！”我过了去，家人们一哄而上，分别给我送上了礼物和祝福。奶奶和妈妈还给我送上了亲吻，那吻是多么幸福和甜蜜啊！

我哭了，泪水顺着我的脸颊流了下来。当一滴泪水流进我嘴里的时候，我发现泪水也是甜的。原来生活中的甜就是这么简单，是家人的爱和陪伴。
