在国庆假期里，我和爸爸妈妈一起去了“中国第一水乡”—周庄。

走进周庄，旁边都是琳琅满目的商铺，看得我眼花缭乱，兴奋不已。

This years summer vacation was most enjoyable. I spent fifteen days helping my grandparents doing farm work in the countryside， where I saw mountains fields covered with green plants. Sometimes I went swimming in the river to the west of the village， the water in which was quite clear.

I kept a diary every day. Besides doing farm work， I help the children in the neighborhood with their lessons. All of them showed interest in English. Many years ago, before I moved to the city, I lived in a small town. I was so close to the nature, I could see the mountain and the clear water. Walking along the street, I was extremely excited because a repairman on the roadside was fixing the bike. But, I was bewildered as soon as I thought of no money. Surprisingly, the man found me and asked me to come to him. I said to him:” I’ m sorry that I have no money to repair the bike.” “It doesn’t matter!” he replied bluntly. After a few minutes, my bike was repaired well by him without pay.
