I read the book then watched the movie, both of them ga一ve me great shock, I really admire Meggie,she had the courage to use her whole life to love Ralph, never ga一ve up. She believed that she would love Ralph only in her life. But I don’t like Meggie’s attitude to love, Ralph is a Father, and he mustn’t love Meggie, they really loved each other, but they are not destined to be together. So in my opinion I think Meggie should give in, she shouldn’t fight with God, Ralph had told her he would serve God forever, so Meggie wouldn’t win. Maybe giving up is a good choice. Their love is painful.

Tell the turth I don’t like Meggie neither Ralph, Ralph could not give Meggie happniess while Meggie couldn’t support Ralph to concentrate on his work. So they would not ha一ve happy life, they only made each other feel sad .

Frank is my fa一vorite role. he was short but strong ,and he was one of the main labor in his family. He didn’t want to be a shepherd, but the family needed him , and he must feed he the sheep so that everybody in his family can live better. Once he escaped from home , but it wassn’t long before his father found him and take him home. I feel so sorry that he had a miserable fate. He longed for freedom but most of his life didn’t belong to himself, it’s really a pity .

Frank was different to every man in their home, he loved his mother deeply, and he always helped his mother do the housework. he dreamed to be an outstanding boxer. Frank was considerable, and he always try his best to make Meggie feel happy. As Meggie’s oldest brother, he could be worried about Meggie’s fa一vorite doll, and he even tried to fixed the doll which was distroyed by Meggie’s other brothers. Frank and Meggie would always tell each other what they thought in their deep heart , and they are close friends.

I was so sad when I learned that Frank killed a man and he was sent to the prision. It is really a big shock to Meggie, for Frank was the only one who can listen to Meggie’s secrets. She thought she lost Frank forever. I cannot imagine how painful for Frank to spend dozens years in the prision. He once had good dream about his life, but he had to waste most of his life in prision. In my opinion it was Frank’s father that distoryed his life. His father didn’ t give him freedom, and Frank can’t had strong resistance spirits, and because he didn’t control himself and broke the law.The energitic Frank will never come to us, and he became a man who didn’t wanna talk. He began to be afraid of the world…it is really a pity.

As for Meggie, I think she was a good girl. She was beautiful and smart, but she it was wrong for her to love Ralph. Meggie was an excellent girl, she was able to find an outstanding boy to love her, but she put all her love on Ralph even she married Luke. She married Luke just because Luke looked like Ralph. Meggie wanna be a thorn bird, but I think it was too cruel to her. She was so kind that she shouldn’t stand that king of pain, and I think she was born to ha一ve a happy life. I pity for her.

Both the story of thorn birds and the legend are painful and beautiful, but not every one can be the thorn birds, because it is not our porpose to ha一ve a painful life. We are born to be happy. Olny happiness is the ture meaning of life while the story was written for us to enrich our life. It is a wonderful story.

I often go to see my grandma and grandpa during my summer vacation.They areboth seventy years old and live in the country happily. Summer view of thecountryside is very beautiful. I think childhood is the happiest period in life, because there are few troubles and worries at that time. The only thing we worry about is our study.

Therefore, it’s a time for fun and enjoyment. In my memory, my childhood was colorful and interesting. I was born in the countryside, and I didn’t have many toys, just like other kids in my hometown. But as a creative group, we could always make a lot of toys by ourselves, which need no money at all.

希望凝住时空的心愿，我想；在生活中，每个人或多或少都会怀有。在网络信息时代，这从日臻完善的画图输示功能中就可瞥见一斑。对我来说，凝住时空的愿望，也常常是通过欣赏绘画或是摄影作品来实现的。

Every year, June 7th and 8th are the big days for high school students,

because they will take part in the college entrance exam, which is considered

the exam to change their lives. The media give full attention to these students

and many moving incidents have been reported every years. Such as the students

who went to the wrong classroom and in the last few minutes, the policeman

helped them reach the right destination. Parents are also the targets that catch

the medias attention. Many parents are waiting outside while their children are

doing the test. When the students meet trouble during their ways to the

classrooms, people will do what they can do to help them without asking for

转眼间，我从一个初中生变为一个高中生。 In a blink of an eye, I changed from a junior high school student to a high school student.

刚来学校的那天，我就对那新发的32本课本产生恐惧感。看着那32本课本，我不知道该先看哪一本，不知道该从哪学起。

我能上高中是走--的，所以让我觉得自卑。但是我发现，高中与初中不同，高中是一个新的的开始。虽然我的中考成绩不好，但是已是过去，而我应该关心的是现在和将来。现在，我和同学们是站在同一起跑线上的。只要我不再像读初中那样贪玩、懒惰、不肯吃苦，我相信我也能读好。我会给自己更多的信心，因为我坚信我不比别人笨。

但是，接下来的高中生活辛苦得使我的信心减少了很多。除了数学、语文、物理这三科我听得懂，其他科目我几乎听不懂，这让我想放弃原来要把书读好的念头，也让我又开始认为我与其他同学不同。毕竟他们要中考已经经历过辛苦的复习，所以上高中后的辛苦也比较快适应。而我，初三时是请长假悠闲的玩了一年。他们在紧张的复习时，我却在家里上网。我，又陷入迷茫中。

我总是认为我来读高中时个错误，但是每当想起我答应爸爸妈妈要来读高中时他们脸上欣慰的笑容，我就想坚持下来。想把听不懂的科目弄懂，把听的懂的科目读得更好。我想了很久，要让爸爸妈妈的笑容更灿烂些，我只有更努力的学习，拿出好成绩让爸爸妈妈骄傲的笑，即使那样很辛苦，我也觉得很值得。

In Chinese culture, it is every childs duty to return their parents as

they grow up. The children know their duty and they work hard to give parents a

better life. As a child, I was grateful to my parents as they gave me all their

love, so I made up my mind that I must earn a lot of money and then I could pay

back my parents money. But as I grew up, I realized that money was not that

only way I could return my parents. Whats more, my parents dont care about my

money, and they just want to spend more time with me. When I grow up, I will

move out and probably live far away from them. At that time, if I come home

often, they will be happy. I think every parent just want care from their

Everyone has their own habit. I have some living habits. I will take off my

shoes and put on the slippers when I arrive home. And I get used to drink some

soup before having dinner. What’s more, I have to keep my room light on until I

fall asleep. If I am forced to change anything about this, I will be very

uncomfortable. For example, if I don’t wear slipper at home, I will be very

uncomfortable. If I can’t drink soup before dinner, I can’t eat anything. And I

can’t fall asleep if the light is off. This is my living habit. Maybe I will

change it one day, but now I can’t receive any change about them.

students" union. i think she will be an excellent chairperson, because she has

many good personal qualities.

wang lingyan is a confident girl and all the students in our class think

she is really powerful. she has the ability to organize us very well. most of us

admire her for her ability. she is also outgoing. she is never afraid of talking

to the strangers. this is very important, because she will have to speak in

front of the whole school.

wang lingyan is also a clever girl. she always gets good marks in tests.

for example, she got the first in the last math exam, so i think she is clever

enough to come up with good ideals. i also think wang lingyan is organized and

never forgets to do the things she needs to do. she won"t give up things easily

that she decides to do someting.

i think wang lingyan has all the qualities to be a good chairperson. i hope

The first thing I did was I made a plan for my study. I assigned my

homework equally according to the holidays so that I can finish all of them in

time. And during my winter vacation, we welcome the most important festival in

China—Spring Festival, it’s also called Chinese New Year by lots of

foreigners.

At that night, our family came together and had a big meal. Of course we

had dumplings that night, because that is our Chinese traditional. We then watch

the CCTV spring festival evening party together and watch the beautiful

fireworks. That’s the happiest time in this world! The winter vacation I had

dreamed all year around was finally coming. And I really enjoyed a lot from

it.

The first thing I did was I made a plan for my study. I assigned my

homework equally according to the holidays so that I can finish all of them in

time. I also arranged myself the books and words I need to read and recite.

Secondly, I took some extracurricular activities and read some English original

reading. My favorite book is , written by Sherlock Holmes. Among all the

classical movies, the Sound of Music was the most exciting one. During my

holidays I also made some assistance for my physical class teacher, surely I met

lots of difficulties in this stage and from which I knew what perseverance

really was. Lastly, I went to the temple fair and was lucky to taste several

Chinese traditional dishes; “Jiaohua chicken” is one of them. It is said it

originated from Hangzhou centuries ago, made by a famous beggar Hong Qi Gong,

the senior leader of Beggar Gang.Steamed with fresh lotus leaf wrapped up,it is

famous for its special aroma and taste. Now that the holiday is ending and a new

semester is coming, I need to fresh up and get started to embrace the upcoming

challenges.

你想过未来的生活是什么样吗？我知道，未来会有很多发明。而我却想未来会有可能发明一种可以变小的房子。

这个房子是椭圆形的，很像一颗胶囊，房子的颜色是五颜六色的，而窗户却是透明的，虽然表面上房子很小，但屋内的空间却是非常大，屋内有一张床，还有很多家具用品。

我这种房子上有一个按扭，只要按一下它，它就会变成胶囊那么大，然而当你去旅游的时候去住酒店，酒店没有空房的话你就可以拿出你随身携带的房子，然后按一下按扭它就会变成房子那么大，让你居住。如果你想去海里，你就按一下另外一个按扭，它就会变成小鱼跳到海里，直到你玩累了，再按一下按扭它就会变成房子，然后回到陆地。

怎么样！你们是不是很羡慕我的房子，我希望在未来这种房子一定会被发明出来！
