Too often we feel that few of our friends are true friends, without the traditional feeling of mutual affection which could only be created by longtime apart. But several decades ago, people treasured their friends and maintained relatively close interpersonal relations, which is much more enjoyable than the estrangements we are experiencing.

The last factor that has made our age so uncomfortable is the abusive use of technology. Although it brings much convenience, it essentially changes human – we are no longer the master of tools, but instead the slaves of devices. We rush to metro station in order to catch an early train, sit in front of radioactive computers all day long in order to get our work done, and stay in air-conditioned rooms all summer without experiencing the natural changes outside thick cement walls. Several decades ago, people could still live closer to nature and make rational use of modern technology, which to me is the essence of human living experience.

However, the comparison between different times is itself ridiculous. The criteria could not be easily determined, and opinions are highly personal. Anyway, we have a longer life span, more advanced medical facilities, and easier traffic than our grandparent when they were children, and we should treasure the present experience. Imagination of the past might only be nostalgia – if I ask my grandparents the same question, they might as well say that our life is much better than the past generations. Who knows? There’s no doubt that it’s always been a pretty hard timeduring the training.

Last afternoon,our group stopped beside the threatre andbegan to exercise.A moment later,I could barely concentrate and my body wasshaking fiercely.We were asked to stand straightly and properly.I tried hard tohold on my pace,but then my brain started to go blank.Ninty percent of my sightwas covered by some sorts of shadows as if they’were starve devils,eating up mymind.With the help of my teachers,those annoying shadows graudually fadedaway.Then it just left me endless guilty and shame.I just wanna go home.

our country .It is really a very beautiful place grand mountains, clean rivers

and kind people. Trees and flowers are seen everywhere. Every year there are

lots and lots of visitors.

Maybe you have heard about Shi Lin (stone forests). There are all kinds of

strange stones. Some of the small stones look like graceful girls; and the big

stones look like handsome men. Other stones look like cats, peafowls,

double-edged swords, mice, elephants and so on. Of all the stones, the stone

like a beautiful girl in a legend is the most famous .Its name is A Shima.

I also went to Li Jiang. The roads in that city are just like the Eight

Diagrams. Any road in the city goes to the center of Li Jiang. A river runs

through the whole city. If you go along the river, youll never get lost. There

are many ethnic minority people in Yunnan. They are very cordial. And they all

like singing and dancing. We danced with them around the campfire that night. I

really had a good time.

I like the elephants and fruits there best. An elephant is even taller than

me! I even mounted the elephant, though I was very afraid at first. But the

elephant seemed very friendly. I took some photos with it. The fruits there are

very fresh and delicious. They are very good for our health.

When I was six years old, I began to go to school. The first school (which) I attended was a primary school. 端午节也是粽子飘香的节日。家家户户都要在端午节里包粽子，这是一个传统的习俗，我们家当然也不例外。端午节早上，奶奶把包粽子所需的箬叶和馅料准备好，便开始包粽子了。我们一家人围坐在一块，只见大人们拿起两片箬叶，把馅料往上一放，接着三折两叠，再拿起草条一绑，一个有棱有角的粽子便展现在我们面前。

我们这群小孩看了赞叹不已，跃跃欲试，纷纷缠着大人们教我们包粽子。可我们包出的粽子不是露馅了就是太小了，简直就是只丑小鸭。不一会儿，我们包了几十个粽子。奶奶把粽子拿到厨房去蒸，才一会儿工夫，粽子蒸好了，屋子里弥漫着粽子的香气，真诱人呀！

端午节，一个传统古老的节日，一个喜气洋洋的节日。多么美好的端午节啊！

我校几乎每天都有一节自习课，设置在每天最后一节，表面上说是一节自习，其实写不了几份作业，大多数时间用来讲话了。对此，班主任多次重点强调，却依然堵不住我们班一张张能说会道的嘴。

作为能讲者这一列的人，自习课是我发挥的天地。大多数时间下老师不在，无人“干扰”，想说多少说多少，只有班长无力的几声“安静”，都淹没在鼎沸的人中去了。

终于，在开学一次座位大调后，我被调到了班长的后座，同桌娴静少言，平时不怎么爱说话。一下子我全无“用武之地”，只好强迫自己安静下来，静一静，写几本作业，在一次自习课上，我进行了第一次尝试。

我沉下心来，深吸几口气，掏出笔，摊开作业，“闭目，凝神”几分钟后，长舒一口气，立即着手动笔。“唰唰……”沉下心来作业写得还真快。我心里想，然而好景不长，几分钟后，我便浑身瘙痒，内心实在不爽，总想找个人倾泻一下我沉淀已久的情感。但是呢，前有班长，同桌又不善言辞，只好憋住等下课再说了。于是我只好强力克制，才将嘴边的话又收了回去。

时间现在看起来是漫长、无边无际的。似乎已经过了10分钟，看一看表，其实5分钟都不到。不觉想起了不知哪位同学的演讲上似乎讲过，能静下15分钟，你就进入学习状态了。就15分钟，不长，现在离下课还半小时，若能坚持，则可以克服这个困扰我多长时间的问题。于是我努力打消脑子里的一切念头，使自己真真正正地安静下来。

静，静，静……我脑子中时刻刻意要求自己做到这几个字眼，时间似乎失去了他的意义，在这静中空灵的消失，不复存在了。时间分秒流逝，仅有笔声与呼吸声存在了。

“叮铃铃”下课铃一下子惊破了静的世界，我不知不觉中已写了30分钟，不由地身心畅爽。

生活本来就该充满静啊，只是我们习惯闹了。
