Summer can be very hot in southern taibei where the temperature usually goes up to 32"C or more. Because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. Also because of this I stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. Actually I like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. In the summer vacation that has just ended I went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. This summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. As a second-year senior student I had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. In other words, I must find time to study, too. So I divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

I spent this summer vacation in quite a different way. I used to run about every day in previous summer vacations, but this summer vacation I simply could not afford to do so. I would soon be in the last year of my high-school education and would after graduation be up against the college entrance examinations. Though those examinations were still a year away, I had to start early to make myself well prepared by reviewing all those things I had learned at school and this summer vacation was the ideal time for me to do this. At first I was rather dismayed at the thought of this, but later I thought it was better this way because by working hard this summer I could count on endless happy summers to come. With this in mind I then set to work like anything and only occasionally went out for a change or did some physical. I was not at all bored by this kind of life, for I was sustained by a hope.

With the development of technology, today we live in the world with high

technology. People seem to cant live without computer and smart phone, once

they dont have smart phone at hand for a while, the seem to be lost and feel

something miss in their life. When I talk to my friends at table, I find them

always play smart phones or check on the text all the time. Though we sit face

to face, the distance between us is so far. The high technology brings isolation

between people. Some people dont often visit their parents and friends, for

they believe that a call can solve all the things. Communication in face to face

is far more important than a call. It is time for some people to put down their

smart phones for a while when they are communicating to others.

I have seven classes a day, and two self-study classes at night. And only a day left for the weekend. So, most of the time I have to spend on the study, after all the college entrance examination is very important for almost all of us. Aside of study, I would play football with my friends after school and the weekend. I like playing football very much. When I run on the football field, I can put the examination thing off my mind for a while, only sweat and laugh left. After the study, everything here is very new to me. I study in a new environment, know a lot of new friends, learn a lot of new knowledge, and so on. At first I felt a little nervous. But now Im getting used to it. The classmates of our class are all very united, often help each other to learn, there is a collective activity, we all join. When I came to school, I felt that I was not very nervous, but more and more knowledge was needed to learn. People know that Chinese characters are very complicated and difficult to remember, so every day I work hard and I will ask the teacher where I dont understand. When I went to college, I was impressed by the library. The library of my school is big and beautiful. There are all kinds of books and quiet. So every day after class, I go there to study and read. 高二这条河，崎岖不平；高二这条河，路途很艰辛，但是，这又怎样，它阻挡不了追梦人的脚步，我也相信，经过不懈努力，我终将汇入大海，然后拍起无限高的浪花。

一年半的时间，努力了意味着成功，高二的生活预告我们，要学会忍受孤独，忍受困难。

How time flies!My colorful junior middle school life is coming to an end. Im glad to tell you something about my school life.

When I was six years old, I started school. Since I became a student, I have been studying very hard. My parents are quite proud of me.

Now, I study at Wucun Middle School, which is not only modern but also beautiful. The teachers in my school are so kind and hardworking that I love them very much. All the teachers regard us students as their own children.

Also they are strict with us and strict in their work. I am getting along very well with my classmates. Whenever we have difficulties in our study, we help each other.

I have many interests such as dancing, singing, reading books and playing sports, and I especially enjoy basketball, which makes me smarter and helps me learn faster and better. So Ive improved my life in this way.

My school life is full of happiness and fun. Although we have some new challenges every day, Ill try my best to meet them.

i hope to go on a trip to beijing,but my mother always tells me "you cant".she thinks i am too young to go to beijing,and i am too busy at school.this term is over,to my surprise,my mother will take me to beijing.i am very excited!then i have a traveing plan for this trip:first i will go to the tiananmen square,i will take many pictures.then i am going to the place museum,i can see many old builds there.second,iam goingto the wangfujing street,we will buy many things,for example,foods,clothes and some books.then i will go home. i think i will have a great trip to beijing.

then, we would go to melbourne by train. it is the trading center of australia, and what is more, the best college in australia, the melbourne university, is located there. it ranks 22 in the world college billboard. it is such a wonderful chance for us students to pay a visit to the great academy, hoping that one day in the future we will grasp the opportunity of studying there through hardworking.
