我们的英语老师在考试之前说：“95分以上同学暑假没有英语作业。”我一听高兴的不得了。于是考试时我认真答题检查，我想：1——3年级英语从不低于90分，所以我满有把握这次考试能得95分以上，在我的努力下，终于得了95分以上。

Nowadays,owing to the convenience of transport ,more and more people feel like emigrating to foreign countries.Although it may be exciting to drop your family in a totally unfamiliar place,subsequently the problem appears.Which kind of people in the neighborhood do you long for ,the different race or the same? For me,I prefer the latter.The reasons are as follows.

Firstly,there is no doubt that most of the people tend to spend almost entire life in just one familiar city.They know every street,every corner and every store.If they have something repaired,they know the right place to go.But now,everything changes in the new place.So it is hard for emigrants to adjust in physiology and psychology.What is worse,there is even no friends who can provide enough support.In this situation,naturally the instinct drives them to live with others of their own ethnic background.Because the same race always means similar diet,similar language and habit.Under the circumstances,emigrants are able to adapt to the new environment easily.Otherwise,the conflict resulting from the complete contrast certainly arises.It results in the bad influence on the quality of life.That is what we do not want to confront.Why do we desire to emigrate? We just expect to lead a better life.

Secondly,the emigrants always go with the whole family including the elder.As we all know,after retirement,it is usually that the aged chat with each other about things in the past.For them,talking about trivialities is an essential and necessary way to enjoy themselves.However,assuming that persons around them are different ethnic in the new community,how can our parents or grandparents communicate with neighbors.After all,in accordance with the statistics,over seventy percent of the elder cannot speak foreign language especially in Asia.In addition,the fact that the majority of emigrants coming from Asia is well-known.Therefore,how to help the aged avoid loneliness is a serious problem which should be solved in time.I reckon that the best way is to live with people of the same race.Thus all old men benefit from the familiar language.Or,if they have nothing to do but to stay at home all the day,the harmony of the family will be affected sooner or later.

All in all,in my opinion,the more familiar,the better.So emigrants ought to live with others of their own ethnic background.

生活总是空虚又寂寞，心情也跟着低沉，仿佛心的功能只是给我淡淡的呼吸。没有任何的起伏，有的只是一成不变的我，还有三点一式的不变的规律。

When I was a naughty boy, may be because of the influence of the film "Xiao

Bing Zhang Ga", my dream was to be a soldier just like Zhang Ga. I thought if I

was a soldier, I should be able to swim, dive and climb trees as he did. It

seemed to be very wonderful. So I began to learn swimming, diving and climbing

trees. I practiced every day and finally I could do them well. But when I

entered junior high school and had the military training. I suddenly found that

being a soldier was very difficult and I wasnt strong enough tobear it. I had

to give my dream up.

But I wasnt discouraged, and I had a new aim, which was to be a postman,

or rather to be a newspaper boy. As a newspaper boy. I could speed along streets

With the explosive growth of house price and higher price of commodities,inevitably, you would burden more pressure living in big cities. Likewise, big city has a dense and large population. As a result, you may encounter vast crowds of people when you are out, and you have to wait in a long queues at the hospitals when you get ill as well.

In my points, only by discovering yourself and knowing whats your niche areas can you hope to lead a better life. As for fortune, as for fame, they are of no consequence just like floating clouds. Nothing is more significant than your own happiness.

The city is the place where all industrial, cultural and educational centers are situated. In big cities you can find museums, theaters, clubs, cinemas, big shops and hospitals, comfortable modern flats.

People try to live in cites because all necessary objects are situated nearby. For example if you get ill a hospital or a chemists shop will be situated near your home in the city, and if you live in the country it will be hard to find any medical help very quickly.

Also in big cites you can find all sorts of entertainment such as cinemas, clubs entertaining parks and so on. Many people like to spend their free time there because it helps them to relax and bring them a lot of pleasure.

It is really convenient that everything you need in daily life is situated near you. One of the most important comforts of big cites is that you can quickly get everywhere you like by underground, bus, trolleybus. Also in big cities there is electricity therefore you can use electrical devices such as TV sets, computers, radio, microwave oven, refrigerators and so on.

One more thing, without which it would be impossible to live today is the telephone and where there is a telephone there is also Internet. The communication (связь) has huge value in the life of people and we have got used to it to such extent that if there is no telephone we feel uncomfortable and lonely.

Yes, it is really comfortable, and at first glance everything is good but nowadays big cites there are a great amount of cars and factories. Big cites suffer of overpopulation, dirty air, and water, The streets became noisy and after hardworking day people cannot relax.

People try to do everything to go to the countryside because only there they can find silence. Every holiday and every weekend people try to leave their houses and go to the country.

I live in … district. The ecological conditions here are very bad because near my house a lot of industrial objects are situated. For example near … factory is situated. As for me I prefer to live in a big city because a lot of big shops are situated near my home, but I also like to spend my holidays in the country because after living in the city for about 9 months I begin to get tired.
