Most students think our teachers should go and visit their students` parents to let them know what we do at school. Besides, the teachers can also know what we have done at home. This face-to-face talk will help parents, students and teachers to understand each other better. What`s more, the teachers can offer different advice to different students, which will show their special attention to us and help a lot.

On the other hand, a few students don`t think so. In their opinion, it is unnecessary and even a waste of time for the teachers to visit kids` homes. Especially, they are worried that they will be scolded if the teachers tell the parents their mistakes at school. I think that the teachers should visit our home.

我的英语老师名叫朱祥慧。听这名字,以为是女的,其实是男的。朱老师长得丑,而且不是一般的丑。俗话说得好:人不可貌相,海水不可斗量。我们以貌取人就大错特错了。他虽然丑,但是英语过了八级呢!厉害吧!

更厉害的还是上他的课呢。他的课,每一节都不同寻常。特别是班上那些调皮捣蛋的学生,简直就是小心翼翼、提心吊胆了。对他们来说,上英语课,应该如同下地狱一般痛苦吧。为什么呢?因为一不小心就有“坠入深谷的危险”——接受“严刑拷打”的考验。“拷打”的过程中,班里有些女生就拍手叫好。用英语老师的话来说,那就是:“上英语课有仇的报仇,有冤的申冤。如果这些男生一而再、再而三地欺负女生,找我就可以了!”这一番话可是说到女生的心窝子里了。

我最佩服英语老师的“双棍打”。左右手都得打,经过老师的一阵“狂打”,你的手非得疼上半节课。其次就是“蹲板凳”——把凳子抽出来,然后你坐在空气中,姿势还必须就像坐在板凳上的一样。20分钟下来,你就挥汗如雨了!这两招还都不算狠,最狠的一招是“笑脸”。英语老师会拍着你的肩膀,笑着对你说一番话,这时,他就会露出那一口不齐整的大牙,令你“毛骨悚然”。

当然也有女生挨揍的时候。前两招我就都领教过,第三招还没“享受”过,我现在是没有那个“荣幸”了。所以,我觉得一句话非常适合形容英语课,那就是:不经历风雨,怎能见彩虹。

“严师出高徒”,我们班的英语成绩就不用说了,每次考试都稳拿第一。英语老师常常用武力,我们班同学居然都喜欢他,在学校组织的“最受欢迎的老师”的评选中,英语老师竟然位居榜首。

新学期的开始，每一位同学都会从新开始认识自己的老师，而我也不例外。

我的英语老师是一个又瘦又帅的人。他讲课时，会有几分钟的玩笑时间，所以我们班的每个同学都喜欢他的英语课，而他也不喜欢我们在他的课上表现出昏昏欲睡或者是整个班死气沉沉。如果那 样，他会很不高兴，从而不给我们讲课。

因从我们每一个人都不会这样做的，而且会紧绷着自己的神经，生怕会在他的课上犯困。但如果我们让他高兴了，他会很高兴上我们的课程，而且会给我们讲笑话，逗得我们哈哈大笑，使得课堂气 氛非常活跃。

而这就是我的英语老师。

If ask me who my favorite teacher is, I will no doubt answer you that Miss Hou is my favorite teacher. She is an English teacher, she is kind to everyone, she is not like other teachers who are so strict to students. As Miss Hou is so popular among students, students learn English with high enthusiasm, that is what they return to her. Miss Hou is a good teacher.

如果你问我我最喜欢的老师是谁，我会毫无疑问回答你候老师是我最喜欢的老师。她是一位英语老师，对每个人都很好，她不想其他的老师那样对学生很严格。候老师很受学生的欢迎，学生怀着很高的热情学习英语，这是他们所能回报她的。候老师是一位好老师。

I remember the first time I see Miss Hou, she walks in class, and then talks with students about small things. She doesn’t talk about English in the first class, everyone feels Miss Hou is so amiable, we like her so much. Miss Hou is good at teaching us, she explain the question very patiently, when we understand, she will be move to the next topic, Miss Hou is a good teacher.

我记得我第一次见到候老师，她走进教室，然后和学生讨论一些小事情。她在第一次课上并不讲英语，大家都觉得候老师很和蔼，我们很喜欢她。候老师很擅长教我们，她很耐心地解释问题，当我们明白了，她才会讲下一个题目，候老师是一名好老师。
