这个班的老师姓肖，叫肖柳，长着一双大大的眼睛，圆圆的脸，两只耳朵小小的，头发长长的，是个女性，她的英文名叫：gigi。 她教课教的很好，仅仅一个暑假，同学们都很喜欢她，而且同学们也学得很好。她课间和我们做游戏，交朋友，上课也用微笑面对每一个同学。她想要的课堂气氛是轻松、快乐课堂。上课时，还用游戏的方式让我们对每天所学的新单词加深印象。

她说话也很有风趣，还有，爱与同学们聊天说笑，深受同学们爱戴。虽然课堂随意性大，但同学们的作业完成得非常好，而且，同学们考试成绩没下过80分。在家长会上，校长说我们都很努力，老师也非常认真负责。 虽然肖老师要带几个班的学生，但她对待每个班的学生都一样认真负责，这也是肖老师本人的一大亮点。 肖老师还有一套令我们好好学习的妙招，那就是奖励。

在她的课堂上，每个同学都有获得奖励的机会。每次答对一个问题，她都会奖励你一个史的克，当你的史的克累计到了10个，就能得到一个漂亮的英语本，累计到了20个，就可以得到一个徽章！所以，同学们都有很积极，一学期下来，每个人都有一两个徽章，或四五个漂亮的英语本。

看，我的英语老师多么“神”。同学们与她接触不到半年，已经与她结下了一种不可抹灭的师生情！

在一声声叮嘱中，在一声声教导中，在一个个板书中，我感受到了她的严格，她的奇特，她的关爱。她如一座塔屹立与我心中，使我对她倍感尊敬。

她。短短的头发，十分漂亮，有一点青少年的气息，一点都不像教了好几年书的老师！可那头发，虽美却不听话，不时跑到她的额前来，哎！大大的眼睛中又含着几分严厉，在高高的鼻梁上架了一副眼镜，紫粉色的，戴上去又漂亮了几分。玲珑的小嘴，别看它小，说起英语来，那可是一流的，仿佛就是个天生的英国人。

她不仅口才好，而且教学方法也很好。

她有着一种独特的方法，往往都能将死气沉沉的我们顿时生龙活虎起来。就如今天上午来说吧，她在上课前，在黑板两边各贴了12张卡片，有六组，让我们“连连看”，将全班分为两组，哪一组先消完，哪一组赢。全班来了兴趣，老师也顺水推舟讲了好多知识点，一轮又一轮，每次都是我们蓄目以待是否相同，真是“胆战心惊”。

I began to like English when I entered the senior high school. I owe it to my English teacher who has stimulated① my great interest in learning English and then influenced my future, and whose name is Zhang Yanshu----a name I will keep in my mind forever.

She showed great love to us which is deeply appealing to②our heart. Different from other teachers, she has never been impolite to us. Oppositely, she treated us equally. She made efforts to attract us to the world of English, to understand the beauty of the language and enjoy the cultures of the foreign countries. With her skillful help, the students in our class took great interest in this course and improved rapidly.

She was kind and patient. She did not mind the students slowness in learning new knowledge, but it did not mean that she was not strict with us. In my middle school I had many good teachers, but Mr. Zhang was the one I partic ularly liked and respected. He was a middle-aged intellectual who lived a simple and hard working life but was always optimistic and spared no effort in teaching us.

He was a scholar of Chinese literature and history. We felt that he knew everything in this field. His knowledge and eloquence, as well as his klndness, made his lectures so attrative and touching that we were reluctant to hear the bell ringing to dismiss the class.

One lesson he gave us that I cannot forget concerned some quotations from a pupil of Confucius, who always felt at ease in spite of his life of abject poverty. In his lecture, Mr. Zhang revealed his true feelings in devoting himself to teaching all his life. This deeply moved us all.

I respect Mr. Zhang and should learn from his noble spirit and do my best to study hard for our great socialist country.
