In the Chinese lesson, I need to recite many old poems, which is very

difficult for the elder to do it, but it is so easy to me. As I am young and

full of energy, I can finish the job quickly. In the best age, I want to read

more books to enrich my life. The more I can recite, the more I can

remember.

My mother always tried to let me make my own choice. She wants me to be

independent. Sometimes I make mistakes, but my parents wont blame me. So even I

chose the wrong road, but I learn the precious lesson. It helps me become

stronger. Never to be afraid of making mistakes, because nobody can take the

right road all the time.

A little boy wanted to read a book, but he had no money; he decided to earn

some in return. But he had nothing to do, and so he just had to stay at home

just like usual life; he was very sad.

Suddenly, a strange thing took place, and he began to make use of something

that he wanted to try. After a short time, he came back from the basement with a

ruffled shovel in his hand. When it was time to finish the work that he was to

earn money, he smiled happily.

His work was to shovel snow for the other neighbors in the winter, because

most of the times when snow was very, very big; some of the house doors got

block, and they need to pay $100 for a builder to come and shovel the snow out

of way. But now the boy will help shovel the snow, and they need only to pay $10

in return. At first the boy was not good at it at all, but soon he got the use

of it, and earned lots of money. When it was time to use the money, he figured

that he didn’t have enough to pay for the grammar book that he wanted for

school. It was not that big of a deal of very much; but was not quite things of

time.

He kept on this work for 4 years, until he had finally got enough money to

buy the grammar. He was so very excited, that he jumped about in the room from

brick to brick. When he went to the store, he figured it was closed; all the

grammars are sold out, but in the other hand in opened because he shoveled the

snow away which let him get enough money to buy another grammar in another

store.

It was almost summer and the snow melted away, a statue of him was made up

in the town square where he lived; for making the snow disappear. He was also

the first in the class every morning, because he was willing to learn some

identities to learn grammar. He loved grammar. And when it was time for him to

head home and buy another harder one; he used the same plan just a little

better.

And when people saw his statue shimmering in the morning sunlight, they

would remember his gratitude for everybody in the town.

It was a “Magnificent” day; it was already beheld the shoveling day.

When I am sick, the doctor always asks me to drink more hot water. Now,

drinking hot water has been most people’s habit, while my uncle tells me that

the foreign people get used to drinking cold water. This is very different. As I

am so curious the world, I want to travel around the world someday.

You know, I had planned this holiday for several years. A t last, my dream came true. You could imagine how excited I was. My mind was completely occupied with the holiday. I forgot to collect my laundry. I dont know if you can help me collect my laundry. I sent the laundry to the Johns. It is the one down the corner on St. Peters Street. You cant miss it, because the house is painted green-a big green house. I have got two pairs of trousers, three shirts, one T-shirt and a blanket. Call a taxi to send you home. He walked inside the cave and saw the terrifying lion king. The lion never

saw this kind of thing before, he was frightened now; and asked, “Why are you

here? And who are you? And…” Before he could even finish his speech, the g oat

answered; “I am the goat empress, and I have come to see you…” “See me?” asked

the lion, “Yes,” replied the goat ‘empress’; “I can live no much longer, and

even walking; but, before I die, I want to eat: 100 elephants, 75 wild oxen, 63

wild pigs, and 25 lions. Now I had already had: Elephants, wild oxen, and wild

pigs; I am looking for a lion to eat now!” the lion was so frightened.

towards the mouth of the cave, and rushed out immediately with his back legs

And so the lion led the jackal to his cave, the goat ‘empress’ saw them

coming, and answered; “Jackal, what do you think you’re doing? I asked you to

bring me 25 lions, but you just brought me one! I’m going to eat you both up for

breakfast!” the lion trembled and shouted at the jackal, “Jackal, you tricked me

into this trap?! How dare!”

At these words the jackal ran away, and the lion ran to a place far, far

away…

There was once a little turtle that wanted to be the fasted animal in the

jungle, everybody laughed at him and said that he could never be the fasted

animal ever. But the turtle didn’t listen to them, and instead, he decided to

learn and study from the wild hare; he was the fasted animal in the jungle oh

yes. In fact, every animal went to learn from the hare had become the fasted

runners too. When the turtle told the hare that he wanted to be the fasted

runner in the jungle, the hare laughed high over heels aloud; “Oh, oh!” cried

the hare, “Turtle, if you want to be the fasted, then you must get that big

shell of your back, Ha-ha!”

The turtle was not very happy about what he had just heard from the hare,

and he eventually decided to prove to him that it was his duty to be the fasted

runner of the jungle. “How about this, I and you have a race;” said the turtle

suddenly, the hare laughed aloud again, “Oh turtle, turtle; please don’t tell me

that you are not going to give up!” “I am not, I have the heart inside my body,

and I do not believe that I couldn’t be the fasted runner in the jungle!” the

hare then finally agreed to race with him.

When the time arrived, the turtle got ready; when the sound began to blow,

the turtle walked along slowly. While the hare in the other case hopped about

would be a dream in his brain;” said the hare again. When he was almost at the

He hopped about happily, and when he reached the line, he found the turtle

already resting on a rock. The hare was so shocked that he lay down on the grass

just like that he fainted. And so the turtle became the champion; nobody ever

laughed at him ever again, and whenever some animals wanted to learn running,

they did not go to ask the hare; since he was not yet the fastest any more,

instead they went to the turtle to get advice from their new jungle running

lesson teacher.

昔日尘土漫天飞扬的泥沙路变成了平坦而又坚固的泊油马路：街道上不 再是冷冷清清的了，路旁的小道上挤满了人，下雨天打伞，更是寸步难行，马路上则是车水马龙，一辆宝马从我眼前飞驰而过，一辆奔驰又紧跟着“飞走”了，简直就是赛车比赛的现场直播，马路上车虽多，但秩序井然，毫不觉的拥挤。想想以前吧，村村不通车，连客车也没有呢，有时候去远处串亲戚好要步行。而且马路十分狭窄，一到交通高峰，一辆汽车头顶着汽车尾，差点就两败俱伤了。还会不时传来阵阵“嘟嘟”的声音和自行车的铃声响成一片，像全体吵架一般。如今各种响声在我心中成了一首和谐欢快的歌谣。
