尽管我配了眼镜，可生活仍不如别人好。上课时得戴眼镜，运动时得脱眼镜。记得上次，我去补习英语，忘了戴眼镜。老师把单词抄到黑板上，还注了音标。有一个“au”我怎么看也觉得是“a”，便抄了上去。然后，老师叫人读单词，轮到我了，我自然就读错了，别来是批评了。我心里是多么后悔呀，后悔自己不爱护眼睛，可以一切都已经晚了。

人们都说：“眼睛是心灵的窗户。”我们要好好保护，不要让“心灵之窗”黯淡。这对你的生活会造成很多不便，就像我一样，不要让眼睛成为你的烦恼。

Everybody knows that our life is very short, so the great educators always

advocate us to do what we like and pursue for our goals bravely. Most people

have many ideas in their minds and they dare not to take action, because

thinking of the effort they make but what if they accomplish nothing, so they

decide to give up and just live the boring life. It reminds me of the famous

words, some people just die at age of 20 but only to be buried at the age of 70.

As we are young and full of energy, it is a good time for us to fight for our

future, never be afraid of failure, because it is the mother of success. We can

I was born in 1968, and I went to school from 1973 to 1988. In 1987 I took the General Certificate of Education, and I got good grades in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. After leaving school, I attended the Orient Technical College, where I first studied Fiber Technology and Color Chemistry; later I studied other subjects related to textile manufacture, and in 1991 I obtained the Diploma in Textiles.

After completing my studies, I joined the Top Clothing Company where I worked until 1996. In that year I moved to Prior Productions, who was pleased with my work, and as a result, in 1998, I was promoted to Assistant Works Manager there.

I enjoy my work, and I am prepared to work hard. Moreover, I am sure that Prior Productions would give me an excellent reference. I therefore feel that my application deserves your serious consideration.

I want to be a model student. What shall I do?

I should be polite. I should study hard. I should capful and helpful. I should walk in the corridors. I should throw rubbish in the bin. I should be quiet in the library. I shouldn’t walk and run on the grass. I shouldn’t throw rubbish on the floor. I shouldn’t run in the corridors. I shouldn’t fight. I shouldn’t be noisy in the library.

Computers are affordable for almost all people nowadays. As a result, an

increasing number of college students take computers to their dormitory to

browse website, watch movies and play video games and so on. This phenomenon has

caused lots of public concern. Some people believe that computer does bad to

students’ health for college students spend more than five hours staring at

computer without break every day. However, for other people, they are positive

to students’ owing computers because students can search for the newest

information. Standing on my point, I’m more tending to the first opinion.

Reasons are as the following:

Firstly, computers will transfer students’ attention. If students take

computers on campus, they would spend much time on computer than on study. For

instance, lots of my classmates usually play computer for amusement once class

is dismissed instead of going to the library to read more books to enlarge their

knowledge circle.

Secondly, students spend lots of time on computers which hurts their

health. It is quite often seen that students stay in dormitory for almost a

whole day without any breaks playing computers. It is all known that computers

have radiation which hurts eyes and skin.

To be honest, students can use computer to search for the updated

information that they want. But for the reasons above, I firmly believe that

students shouldn’t bring computers to college.

记得每天晚饭过后，我和我的妈妈总会到东钱湖边去散步。春天，桃花盛开一阵阵芳香沁入心脾。夏天，湖里的荷花拥拥挤挤，成为一道独特的风光。秋天，金色、红色的树叶纷纷飘落，仿佛一叶叶小舟在湖里飘荡。冬天，寒冷的北风吹过，湖面漾起硬硬的波。

东钱湖，一个旅游名胜区，也是我美好的回忆!

今年的国庆节是新中国成立__周年纪念日。恰逢中秋节，所以我们放了八天的长假。

10月4日下午三点，我做完了今天所有的作业，欢天喜地的等着妈妈下班回来接我去方特玩儿。

妈妈回来了说：“妈妈准备了两个汉堡，等晚上饿了吃。”

我说：“好啊，嗯，我最爱吃的汉堡，谢谢妈妈。”姥爷开车带我们出发了。

到了方特我格外兴奋，看到方特这么大，心想：今天一定会玩儿得很痛快。我们取完票，在检票之前还有小丑们给游客们表演。好精彩呀!

进入方特，我们先玩儿了旋转小蜜蜂。虽然排了半小时的队，但当我和妈妈飞在半空中的时候，我兴奋极啦!上上下下的一圈儿一圈儿的，妈妈有点儿晕。我却没玩够，时间到了，我们下去以后准备去玩儿魔法城堡。这个项目竟然排了一个小时的队。进入城堡戴上眼镜，我们看到了许多恐怖的画面，有各种野兽来袭击我们，仿佛置身其中。好刺激啊!最终我们完成了考验。获得了许多“金币”。

接下来我们又玩儿了“冰雪世界”。穿上棉服以后，我们进去了。哇!好冷呀!我玩了冰滑梯、保龄球、又在冰房子里照了几张相，妈妈说：“我都冻流鼻涕了，此地不易久留，我们得出去啦!”

我说：“我还没玩够呢，再玩1分钟。”妈妈答应了。一分钟过后，我们就出去了。

出去以后我们找了个亭子坐下来把汉堡吃了，肚子填饱啦!我们又去玩儿“飞越极限”。就像坐飞机一样，我们飞跃了世界各地：美国、法国、埃及、上海、北京……好过瘾呀!

到了八点，夜场表演开始啦!好多精彩的节目，有歌舞、还有哈瓦族的火把表演……

表演结束后，我们观看了烟花表演，各种五光十色，简直太美了。旅途结束了，我十分开心。我对方特恋恋不舍。我以后一定还会来的!

春节快要到了，大家都开始忙活起来：贴春联......我也来介绍一下我们家的春节的风俗。

简单的风俗有贴春联，为了驱赶“年兽”;把“福”字倒着贴，因为“福到了”，这些都知道，接下来是复杂的，比如说贴门神，都经常贴关二爷，为什么?因为这是一种迷信说法，如果有不吉祥的东西、人，走到这家贴了门神的人家，关二爷是不会让他进去的，而且小偷也怕关二爷，因为关羽是一副威武的样子。还有拜灶神，在腊月二十四，把它贴在厨房的墙壁上，这天，大家就要拜菩萨，菩萨要到天宫，告诉玉帝这家人的善恶和罪过，它当天晚上还要接回来，口中念念有词，叫菩萨多说他们的好话，再供奉些水果点心，这样，就把灶神菩萨接回来了。

接下来是吃团圆饭，不是给大家吃，是给已去世的人吃，不可以乱动，否则这家人就不会有好日子，我听爷爷讲的，这种说法很迷信，吃饱了就是我们吃了。会上好好好多菜，有鱼，象征“年年有鱼”，还有饺子，里面什么馅都有，让已结婚的人吃枣子馅，“枣”生贵子!让走进事业的人，吃有硬币的芹菜馅，财运旺!让我们小孩子吃肉馅，健康成长!一边吃一边在外面放鞭炮，这样把春节推上高潮，呀，还忘了一个。对了!发红包，晚辈先给长辈送上祝福，才能拿压岁钱。然后吃完了唱歌跳舞，看春节联欢晚会。

十二点的钟声敲响了!大家一起守岁，五、四、三、二、一!新的一年开始了，趁这个时候，门窗全开，喔，不是放鞭炮，是迎财神，家家都希望财神到自己家来，来年会兴旺，发达的，在财神面前许个愿，春节就这么过去了。

有了这么多风俗这个春节一定够开心，够充实。

祖国妈妈我想说，蓝天下，迎着初升的晨曦，我们学校每周一都会举行庄严而隆重的升旗仪式。我们眺望着国旗冉冉升起，耳旁回荡着气壮山河的国歌，我们为这庄重的礼队而自豪，肃然国旗前的神圣。今年是新中国成立70周年，我带着激动而紧张的心情来参加这次征文比赛，用我稚嫩而笨拙的文字来表达我对祖国的热爱和赞美。爱国是什么?文天祥说：“人生自古谁无死，留取丹心照汗青。”顾炎武说：“天下兴亡，匹夫有责。”曹植说：“捐躯赴国难，视死忽如归。”是啊，古往今来有许许多多的爱国前辈给我们做了爱国的好榜样。

百折不挠的屠呦呦!屠呦呦是一位获得诺贝尔奖的女药学家。她在条件极差，设备欠缺的环境下，仍然坚持不懈，发现了“青蒿素”，拯救了成千上万人的性命。这是屠呦呦的爱国之路，中国人民为她自豪!

梁启超的儿子梁思礼，早年生活在美国，但他放弃了美国优越的条件，毅然回归祖国的怀抱，为祖国的航天事业做出了杰出的贡献。他说：“尽管我早年丧父，但是我从父亲那里继承了最珍贵的东西，那就是爱国。”这是梁思礼的爱国之路，他是炎黄子孙的骄傲!

鲁迅先生一生用笔杆子与敌人斗智斗勇。写文章、办杂志，提倡新文化新思想。“横眉冷对千夫指，俯首甘为孺子牛。”是先生一生的写照，是一位伟大的文学家，思想家的灵魂。这是鲁迅先生的爱国之路，中国华人为他鼓掌!

遥望夏花灿烂，有待幼苗成长。前人的努力已然成为历史。祖国妈妈我想说，我们准备好了，为中华之崛起而读书!我们准备好了，接过前辈手中的力量火炬，让它燃烧得更旺并一路传承!我们准备好了，让胸前的红领巾闪闪的耀眼夺目!我们准备好了，寻找属于自己心中的爱国之路……

这周，老师问大家有什么好地方可以推荐给同学们呢?顿时，班上像锅里的水烧开了似的七嘴八舌得讨论。有人说：“欢乐谷!”有人说：“迪士尼乐园!”还有个小胖子说：“冰激凌店!”……在我看来，这些都不算什么，我要给大家推荐一个你想也想不出来的地方，那就是刘珈汐的家。

里面有很多好玩的东西，就例如花园里的沙池，我和刘珈汐经常在里面堆“地下沙城”。首先，我们用一盆水将干沙变成湿沙，然后用手在两个距离较近的地方挖坑。然后再用一根竹子来打洞，最后用一点水浇在地洞上，这样就可以制成地洞了!

当然，他家的菜园也很好玩。有白菜、李子、橘子、辣椒、枇杷……还有一样东西大家都没想到，那就是葫芦，而且比平时卖的葫芦大三倍，全身都是绿的!这葫芦还能用来做工艺品，美丽极了!

菜地旁边是鹅圈，里面的鹅一见到人就开始疯狂的叫，非常不受我们喜爱。如果要放它们出去的时候我想：它们应该最想找人了!如果在散步的时候看到人的话，它就会不知疲倦得追着人，直到把人追上了才罢休。

总的来说，我还是最喜欢沙地，我和刘珈汐在那里玩，玩得不知疲倦然后那个地方也十分适合玩，所以我最喜欢那里。

我认为刘珈汐的家好玩的原因是里面有很多好玩的地方。另外，刘珈汐的家不是想去就能去的，只有是他的好朋友才行，所以我想继续跟他做朋友。

Dear Ms. Reinhart,

I am terribly sorry that I failed to arrive at BLCU last Friday. I hope that this did not mess you up completely, although I know that you had already made some special arrangements for my visit with you parents and friends. I am very sorry about all that. I am sure you will be sympathetic, however, when I tell you that my father is dangerously ill in hospital, and that I found it impossible to leave for the visit when he is in this state.

My father was working very hard on his project on protecting the environment. I know the project has come to a very important stage. He and his assistants did not take regular rest for three weeks. Last night, my father had a heart attack and was soon sent to the hospital. The doctor said my father was in a very serious situation, and, he might need an operation.

24 hours have passed. Nothing has changed. I have to stay at the hospital. I will let you know if there is any good news.

I am sorry again and look forward to seeing you soon.
