我的家乡有一条河，那里有清澈见底的一条河流，小时候，我和我的姐姐最喜欢那一条河流。我和姐姐在河边讲故事，说笑话……河里的鱼可能在听吧!我感到小鱼儿就在欢蹦乱跳。我们在河边捡到了一个贝壳，姐姐说：“小贝壳已经死了，救不活了。”我说那把它放进水里吧，让它死在一条清澈的河流里。那时候，我经常和姐姐一起到河边去玩，即使很忙，也会抽一些时间去游览。

就在9月12日，突然来了一场暴风雨，也不知从哪里来了一条凶猛的大怪兽……那是个可怕的晚上，我躲在被子里冷得发抖，外面狂风怒号，心里总是有点儿担心，担心什么呢?不知道。我和我的同学，钻在被子里搂得连一个空隙都没有，我们心里直发毛。

第二天早晨，上课了，老师说昨天晚上到今天早上发生了泥石流。我们大吃一惊，我出生到现在还没见过那么大的洪水。听说田野里的庄稼被水冲走了大半，有的被泥土给埋住了，剩下星星点点的残渣在地上。人们种的菜、玉米都没有了，人们伤心欲绝，怀着悲痛的心情。

我回家的一路上，看到是一大片泥土，一大片树枝。回到家了，我问妈妈鱼儿哪里去了呢?妈妈告诉我：“我们小寨村大河里的红尾巴鱼、大头鱼、虾子、螃蟹都被大怪兽给吃掉了。”我忍不住想说：“我最喜欢的鱼呀，你哪里去了?”更让人伤心的是那条河流，老天啊!我们以前的清澈的河流到哪里去了，到处浑黄，满目沧桑。一场洪灾能使多少水里的动物死去，我真想大骂老天呀!

我和我的姐姐最喜欢的河到哪里去了，现在变成了恶心又浑浊的一条淤泥狼。我们村的一户人家的鱼养在大河边，经过那一场洪灾，连一个鱼都没留给人家，那是几百、几千、几万条鱼呀，那些鱼在树上冲死……听说，此次暴雨、泥石流预计造成经济损失9千多万元呀。这真是一个天文数字呀!

鱼儿哪儿去了?谁为鱼儿买单?

Considered to be patriotic, democracy and science, some think is to emancipate the mind, continuous innovation, some think it is rational spirit, personality liberation, some think it is brave to explore, the pursuit of truth, some think it is worn out new revolution or change, some think it is thorough anti-imperialist and anti-feudal, and so on. These arguments are justified, in fact is linked to.

Patriotism is the source of the may fourth spirit, democracy and science is the core of the may fourth spirit, have the courage to explore, dare to innovation, emancipate the mind, the change is put forward and the way to achieve democracy and science, rational spirit, personality liberation, anti-imperialist and anti-feudal is content of democracy and science. And all these, the final purpose is to revitalize the Chinese nation. Therefore, the memory of the may fourth movement, carries forward the spirit of the May 4th, should combine these aspects, strive for the revitalization of the Chinese nation.

In a word, the may fourth spirit represents honest, progressive, positive, free, equal, creative, beautiful, kind, peace, love and mutual assistance, labor and pleasant, society as a whole continuum of happiness.

什么是五四精神呢?有的认为是爱国主义，有的认为是民主与科学，有的认为是解放思想、不断创新，有的认为是理性精神、个性解放，有的认为是勇于探索、追求真理，有的认为是破旧立新的革命或变革，有的认为是彻底的反帝反封建，等等。这些说法都是有道理的，事实上也是联系在一起的。

爱国主义是五四精神的泉源，民主与科学是五四精神的核心，勇于探索、敢于创新、解放思想、实行变革是民主与科学提出和实现的途径，理性精神、个性解放、反帝反封建是民主与科学的内容。而所有这些，最终目的都是为了振兴中华民族。因此，纪念五四运动，发扬五四精神，应该把这些方面结合起来，为振兴中华民族而努力奋斗。

总之，五四精神代表着诚实的,进步的,积极的,自由的,平等的,创造的,美的,善的,和平的,相爱互助的,劳动而愉快的,全社会幸福的统一体。
