Christmas Day is on December 25th, though it originated in the western

country, now it is popular around the world. In China, people will spend that

day happily, they will eat apples on Christmas Eve, the children will put the

socks so that they could get the presents from Santa Claus. When I went to

college, I had an unforgettable memory about my first Christmas Day.

As my major is English, I have many foreign teachers, so that I could have

access to the local culture from them. Christmas Day is a big day for them, when

the day came, they asked us to spend the day with them, because most of them

left home and did not have families around. My classmates and I went to the

foreign teacher’s home at that day, we brought some presents, when we arrived at

his house, we found a beautiful tree with shinning lights. My teachers taught us

how to cook all the cookies, we were having such great fun. I made the cookies

The farmers got richer by planting vegetables and raising silkworms. In their houses there were colour TV sets, fridges,washing machines, new furniture and even motorbikes. All these showed the farmers life was getting better and better.

The great changes had attracted foreigners. Today some of them would come to visit it. We were happy for the farmers. We hope the farmers will be richer and happier.

Friends areimportant in our life. They are always with us. When we are happy, we feel happy as we are. When we are sad, they try to cheer us up.Friendshipis our necessity. Friendshipis a term used to describe cooperative and supportive behaviours between two or more humans. There are different kinds of friendships.

In an interpersonal interaction, friendship is a relationship which involves mutual knowledge, esteem, and affection. Friends will welcome each others company and exhibit loyalty towards each other, of ten to the point of respect. Their tastes will usually be similar and may converge, and they will share enjoyable activities.

A group of friends consists of two or more people who are in a mutually pleasing relationship expressing a sentiment of camaraderie and mutual trust. There are varying degrees of closeness between friends. Thus, some people choose to differentiate and categorize friendships based on this sentiment.

Friendship will engage in mutually helping behaviours, such as exchange of advice and the sharing of hardship. A friend is someone who may often demonstrate reciprocating and reflective behaviours. Often time, friendship is nothing more than the trust. Value that is found in friendships is often the result of a friend demonstrating on a consistent basis.

Tourism in China

Recent years have seen a tendency in China that tourism is growing faster. According to a recent survey made by some experts, about 47% urban residents travel regularly, and 28% rural residents also make their tour across the country. The survey also shows that more people are interested in tourism, and will join the army in the future.

Facing this tendency, we can’t help exploring some underlying factors that are responsible. In the very first place, with the policy of reform and opening up, Chinese people’s living standard has been greatly improved, and therefore, most of them can afford to travel around. What’s more, it is believed that people now take a more positive attitude to tourism, and regard it as a life style. In addition, tourism facilities are becoming better and better. my secret worry
