Last month I went to Beijing to visit one of my friends, because we haven’t seen each other for about two years and I got a holiday meanwhile. 第三天的下午我们来到军事博物馆，刚进军事博物馆，就能看见三个穿着绿颜色、蓝颜色和白颜色三种不同颜色军服的军人。院子里陈列着很多坦克、装甲车、巨轮、战机，它们都是在战争中立过功或是从敌人处缴获而来的。旁边有个小店，这是出售纪念品的，所以在那里买了直升机和枪钥匙扣。博物馆的里面在装修，我们没能进去，只好下次有机会再来了。

北京真美，这里好玩好看的地方真多啊！等我将来长大了，我还要再来北京！

6月30日到7月3日我在北京玩得可开心啦!我看了主席纪念堂，我认为我们是在主席温暖的怀抱下长大的。我还去了故宫参观了几百年前的文物，真有意义啊!我还发现以前的门都是用很结实的材料制成的。

我去爬了长城，我感受最深的是：我们爬完了好汉坡，还有这长城建在那么高的地方，建造长城的古人真了不起!还有，鸟巢、水立方，我也去看了，都是现代高科技的杰作。

最后一天，我们去看了天坛，印象深刻的是站在天坛中间说话，下面的人都听得见。我想是为什么呢?太神奇了。

我们祖国的首都北京太伟大了!

travel is beneficial to us in at least three ways.

first, by traveling we can enjoy the beautiful scenery in different places. we will see with our own eyes many places read of in books, and visit some famous cities and scenic spots.

second, we will meet people with different interests and see strange and different things when we travel. we can get ideas of the conditions and customs of other people, taste different foods and local flavours if we like. in this way, we can understand how differently other people live.
