平时课堂上，她经常让我们听写、考试、玩游戏等等不像班主任那样，一进来准没好事——不停在传授一些人生大道理给我们。语文老师抱着书不是听写，就是背书。她每次都会说一些连班主任都不太懂的人生哲理的、感人的文章给我们听，有时还会说笑话，即使是不好笑，她自己也会乐成一团。

有一天下午的英语课，打了上课铃之后班里仍是像炸了锅一样热闹：吵架的、打架的、嬉笑的、K歌的，应有尽有，无所不有。我正奇怪英语老师为什么还没来？突然间发觉班上顿时鸦雀无声，我好奇的望望门口，发现英语老师就站立在教室门口。一同来的，还有班主任。班主任宣布了放学后全班站到6点，再吵就站到7点的圣旨后生气地朝办公室走去。我们在下面后悔已经来不及了，因为我们班主任从来都是说话算数的。同时也深感不服，我根本没吵到，凭什么要我陪他们留到6点，我越想越不服气，最后还是决定暂时不追究她，先认真上课再说。

All over the world people enjoy sports. Sports help to keep people healthy and happy, and to live longer.

Sports change with the seasons. People play different games in winter and summer. Swimming is fun in warm weather, but skating is good in winter.

Some sports are so interesting that people everywhere go in for them. Football, for example, has spread around the world. Swimming is popular in all countries near the sea or in those with many rivers. Some sports or games go back thousands of years, like running or jumping. Chinese wushu, for example, has a very long history. But basketball and volleyball are rather new. People are inventing new sports or games all the time. Water skiing is one of the newest in the family of sports.

Remember the day when I first came to the college. Being a boy of 17, I was longing for a new life as a college student; but, at the same time, I had no idea what college life would be like.

That morning when the bus carried me to the gate of the college. I was so excited that my heart was beating very fast as if it would leap out of my mouth. From now on, I would be a student of this college. After registration, we were led by an instructor to the dormitory, where, for the first time, we were going to live without parents but roommates. I was so clumsy that I did not know how to make the bed and fix the mosquito net.

In the afternoon, I took a walk around the campus together with my roommates. To think of studying in such a beautiful place made me feel quite proud of myself. As we were walking along, talking and laughing, a voice came into our ears, "Oh, look at these freshmen!" It was our middle-school-students looking that gave us away. Now many students become crazy about collecting cards of heroes of the Three Kingdoms in my school. After one gets a card, he will share it with his friends. Being addicted to it, many students have changed a lot.

Some students even play the cards in class so that they have fallen behind in their study. The card is included as a gift in the bag of some food which costs 1.5 yuan.
