Halloween

Halloween is an autumn holiday that Americans celebrate every year. It means "holy evening," and it comes every October 31, the evening before All Saints Day. However, it is not really a church holiday, it is a holiday for children mainly.

我最喜欢过春节了，一到春节，就能穿上新衣服，拿红包。除夕早上，我和爸爸一起贴春联，贴完后，又开始贴“福”字，只见爸爸把“福”倒着贴在了墙上，我问：“爸爸，为什么“福”要倒着贴呢？爸爸笑着回答：“这意思就表示福倒（到）。”我又拿了一张“财”字，正要倒着贴，爸爸说：“财到不就财倒了吗？所以要横着贴，意思就是发横财。”我若有所思地点点头。

I like the Spring Festival the most. In the Spring Festival, I can put on new clothes and take the red bag. On the eve of new years Eve, I put up a spring festival couplet with my dad. 晚上，我和爸爸妈妈一边吃着香喷喷的火锅，一边看着春晚，真是一件大好事啊！到了深夜十二点，四周围仿佛炸开了锅，烟花有的像一颗“炮弹”，突然，分解成无数的小“炮弹”，紧接着，小“炮弹”又绽开了“花儿”。还有的烟花像流星一样划过天空，又变成了一个个小小点分散了，消失了。热闹的声音传遍了整个同安……

I like the Spring Festival!

Xiaomei and I went out this morning. We went to the city centre. We went

window shopping, and then we had lunch at the restaurant. We didnt buy anything

as we didnt have much money, but we still had a wonderful time.

今天上午我和小梅出去了。我们去了市中心。我们去逛街然后到餐馆吃饭。我们没有没东西，因为我们没有多少钱，可是我们过的很开心。
