i"ll tell you an experience of myself happened last week. last thursday our school was tackling something about woking fou study. i wanted to have a try even though i knew the salary was so low and i had little chance,because the students who had the certificate were always thought to have priority to get the job. fortunately i was called at noon and a teacher said to me that she wanted me to work for her and asked if i could change my mind.

at that moment i was so excited that immediately i accepted her idea. but later on,she found me that i"m not a student,so i had little chance and suggest me to get one. then an idea occurred to me that i could call my father and ask him to send me the letter. at the same time i was told that i was admitted to the job and don"t need the certificate.

that time i forgot to remind my father,until the next day he called me that he had posted it and it would arrive in just one day. at that moment i was moved, and even moved into tears, because i knew my father was injured not long before,the process of helping me with the affairs was not so convenient for him.

but he tried his best to help me. sometimes we may complain about unsatisfying things around us,and blame them on our parents,sometimes they"ll be angry with us, and sometimes we can"t quite understand what they are thinking about. but on balance, almost every parent is selfless to his or her child. they are ready to offer everything to us when we are in bad situation. we used to sharing sorrow with them,but do not forget to share our happiness with them, perhaps they will be much happier than we are. so from now on, let"s care more about our parents and do not leave pity to them. that"s what i want to tell you today. thank you!

我的家乡在甘肃省武威市。地处中国的大西北腾格里沙漠边缘。终年干旱少雨，但日照时间长。因为这优越的地理位置，所以我的家乡盛产的水果非常有名。有鲜甜可口的解暑之王——黄河蜜瓜；有甜蜜细软润喉止咳的水果之王——软儿梨；还有在冬天里预防感冒，清肺止咳的上品水果——红小梨等等。这些都是我们家乡的特产，味道鲜美，深受人们的喜爱。

经过家乡人民这几十年的艰苦奋斗，我家乡的变化可大了。以前低矮的民房，如今全变成了雄伟气派的高楼大厦；以前一下雨就泥泞不堪地土路，现在都被干净整洁地柏油路代替了。城镇中心还建了供人们休闲健身的绿色公园。每到春暖花开的季节，公园里遍地是花的海洋。到了夏天，公园里的树荫下清风徐徐，又成了人们避暑乘凉的好去处。到了秋天，公园里层层叠叠的颜色更似一幅迷人的画卷。到了冬天，树上的冰凌儿就像是美丽姑娘的耳坠。白茫茫的大地就像是谁给铺上了白色的地毯，走上去软软地，还不时地发出吱……吱……吱的声音。家乡真是太美了，我爱美丽的家乡。

今天上语文课时，老师要求我们完成语文书第93页的小练笔，写家乡的一处景物。我马上就想到我们经常去玩，风景独好的白云山。于是，我开始写了起来。

我的家乡在广州，广州有一座美丽的白云山。白云山可漂亮了！白云山的空气清新，人们都喜欢。老爷爷和老奶奶每天都会上山晨运，星期六、日这里更是人山人海。山上的路两边是花草树木，绿油油的树木展开了手臂，好像正在欢迎前来欣赏风景的游客。小野花和小草苗围着大树妈妈做游戏，说来说去“沙沙沙……”。树木多，小鸟和其它小昆虫自然就多了，快乐的小鸟与鸟妈妈和鸟爸爸在天上自由的飞翔。夏天，蝉还会在树上不停地叫“知了、知了”以外，什么也不会了。来到山顶的亭子，可以休息一下，再继续赶路。

From a middle class family, I was born in Hsin Ying, Tainan on October 10th, 1965. My father is a civil official at Tainan City Government. My mother is a house wife good at cooking. Great Changes in My Hometown I used to live in a small town with trees all around. There was no tall building and the only street was narrow. Just outside the town， there was a river. You can see different kinds of fish swimming in the clear water. People here lived a simple life. Great changes have taken place here. Today were going to visit Stanford university, a very old university, and its recognized as one of the worlds most distinguished universities.

Our bus stopped at Stanford university, and I saw an antique building. All the way forward, the building that was built of stone, though made of stone, was built very fine, with different patterns engraved on it. It was then that I was attracted by a church building, whose metope was a beautiful picture of more than 20,000 pieces of Mosaic, which is the memorial church of Stanford university.
