She is very busy today, just like a busy bee. In the morning, I had two seccsions and after that I had a lesson for my IELTS. I dont even have my lunch. There lots of people in my IELTS class and most of them came from India. The reason why they want to attent this course is similar to me. I also have some other problem. Last term, I decided to start my new term in Newcastle, and asked Jhon to give my money back. And now, I have changed my mind, so told Jhon I did not want my fees back, but she told me the check had been sent out for almost two weeks. I havent received my check until now, and I told her the truth. Finally, she said she would help me to ask finaNcial officer to give me another letter, and then after I sign that form everything will be all right. What a absurd world it is. 期末考试过后，我们又迎来了一个美好的寒假。在这精彩的三十天里，为了过得更有意义,我的寒假我做主!下面，就说说我的寒假计划吧。

首先，每天阅读一小时的课外书是必不可少的。我跟慧儿组成了一个“读书小组”，相互借阅书籍。并准备一个“好词好句摘抄本”，把好词好句都摘抄在上面，到时比一比，看谁做得更好。必读的书籍有：《小飞侠彼得.潘》、《哈里波特和魔法石》、《草原上的小木屋》、《昆虫记》、《海底两万里》、《银顶针的夏天》。有时间的话，再读一读沈石溪的动物小说。并在寒假快结束时，举行一个小型读书汇报会，总结自己的读书感受。

写博文练笔也很关键，所以我决定，整个寒假至少发博文十篇。我准备写一写我温馨的家庭，写一写读书笔记，还要写一写身边发生的有意义的事情。坚持每天在校信通上交流学习半小时，再评论十到二十篇博文。大家快乐交流，开心学习。

其次，做寒假作业是假期的关键。根据老师布置的作业，每天坚持做一些。语文我准备结合读书和写博文，每天再练写一百个生字，切实做到爱读书、爱写作和爱练字。数学每天需要做四页练习题，巩固自己学过的知识。英语做到多听多写多练，每天写十五个单词，听二十分钟英语课文，向爸爸妈妈讲述英语小故事。

最后，需要锻炼身体和放松心情。

冬天天气寒冷，不能老呆在屋子里，要多做室外运动。比如打羽毛球，跑步等，都是不错的锻炼项目。再利用假期和慧儿一起去滑滑雪，帮妈妈做做家务，这样也能锻炼身体哦!身体是革命的本钱啊，只有身体健健康康，才能更好地完成学习任务。

春节是我国的传统节日，热闹而隆重。想着除夕夜和爷爷奶奶团聚在一起，吃饺子，放鞭炮，全家人其乐融融，心里像吃了巧克力一样，又香又甜!又想着和哥哥姐姐一起疯，一起闹，大家乐翻了天，乐得我只想笑!真盼望这一天能快点到来!

在这个寒假里，我相信自己会过得既充实，又快乐。我的寒假我做主!

The Importance of Breakfast

As people are so busy with their work, they go to work directly in the morning without eating breakfast. Some people think not having breakfast does no influence on their body health. Some believe breakfast is important to peoples body health. In my opinion, Im convinced that we should have breakfast because it is good for our body health.

First of all, breakfast offer us the energy we need for the day. Before breakfast, our body has consumed all the energy we get from previous meal. Consequently, we need to eat some food in the morning to get enough energy and nutrient to support our body. If we dont have breakfast, then we have no enough energy to do our work efficiently.

Secondly, people who skip breakfast will get weight easily. If you dont have breakfast, then you will eat more food at noon and in the evening. Generally speaking, we dont have much excise in the evening while we eat too much food. As a result, the surplus calorie will be stored in our body and make us fat.

All in all, people should eat breakfast for the good of our health and for the good of keeping a good body shape.

I have many friends, but Jim is one of my best friends. He is not handsome, but kind-hearted. We know each other at primary school. He was the tallest in our class at that time. He is good at study and playing basketball, while bad at playing table tennis. Everytime he has delicious food, he will give it to me. Moreover, whenever I feel sad, he will play with me and comfort me. However, he is not spoilt me. For example, everytime I meet difficulties in study, I would like to copy his, but no matter what I say, he never give his homework to me to copy. Instead he teaches how to do it. I think smiling is as important as sunshine. Smiling is like sunshine because it can make people happy and have a good day. If you aren’t happy, you can smile, and then you will feel happy. Someone may say, “But I don’t feel happy.” Then I would say, “Please smile as you do when you are happy or play with your friends happily. You will really be happy again.”

九月初九是重阳节，重阳节又被称为重九节和老人节，重阳节有许多习俗：登高，赏菊，秋游，吃重阳糕，插茱萸……

说到重阳节，它源于战国时期，原是一个欢乐的日子，古人将天地分为阴阳两类，阴代表着黑暗，阳代表着光明和欢乐，奇数为阳，偶数为阴，九为奇数，因此属阳。九月初九，两阳相重，便称之为重阳节。

今天我们的郭老师组织全班同学一起去登山，我们的地点是神仙岭，本以为神仙岭的范围很小，直到走完全程，才发现神仙岭看似小实则挺大。一路上我们观赏了神仙岭的风景，真是美极了!我们爬上来可真费劲呐，同学们都累得上气不接下气。虽然上到山顶很累，但是我们看到了美丽的风景和寺庙，就觉得再累也是值得的。一路上妈妈给我和同学们拍了许多照片和视频，把我们美好的画面都记录下来。中途我们休息了一会，又继续朝山上走去。在路上我看见了形态各异的石头，还有渐变色的树叶：有青绿色的，有红色的，还有黄色的，好看极了。

终于到达了山顶，我们的肚子都饿得咕咕叫了，没想到郭老师想得还真周到，她从袋子里拿出了美味的零食，有面包、橘子，还有果冻等等级，同学们一个个都津津有味地吃了起来。吃饱了以后，我们开始游戏活动了，第一个环节是数字成语接龙，轮到我的时候我迅速地答上来了，我非常高兴。第二轮活动我们是组队说出描写春夏秋冬的成语，5人一组，我们这一组是说关于秋天的四字成语。游戏规则是这样的：各组进行接龙，没接上来的这组就要表演节目，最后被淘汰。经过几轮激烈的比赛，最后我们这组赢了，每个同学都得到了奖品。第三个活动就是才艺展示，有朗诵古诗，有唱歌等，而我表演了我最拿手的舞蹈，我们的表演结束后响起了热烈的掌声，我们都非常高兴。最后我们全班一起唱起了班歌，做起了手语操，我们在欢快的歌声中结束了这次完美的登山活动。

这次的重阳登山活动真让人难忘，让我感受到了不一样的重阳节。

The saying that practice makes perfect means that after you have plenty of practice in what you are doing, you will be perfect in it. He who practices a lot will master the skill more quickly than he who seldom or hardly practices.

For example, when we learn English, we have to learn grammar, words, expressions and so on. The most important thing may be how to put what we have learned into practice. If you only learn the grammar rules by heart and dont do enough exercises, it is certain that you cant understand them perfectly. But if you practice a lot, maybe you will understand them more deeply and you can find some good methods of applying them. Memorizing English words whenever time permits,we can easily memorize them and can even find a way to memorize them more quickly.

There is another example. A famous singer can sing very welt. Of course, his talent is very important, but practice is necessary. It is necessary to practice to make the singer sing better and better.

父亲买了一坛酒，他将酒深深 地埋在自家小院里。他说，等我考上了理想的大学，就将这坛酒掘出来庆祝!

想着父亲的用心良苦，他那高大的身躯，慈祥的面孔又浮现在我的眼前。我忆起了他为我们家所付出的辛劳和对我的深沉的爱!

(一)

我家建造新房的那段时间，是我见到的父亲最忙碌的日子。从那时起，我体会到父亲是家中的中流砥柱。曾记得，父亲开着车在公路上来来回回。车背的挡盖总是向上翘起，车尾不是搁着水泥就是拖着钢管，车头上覆盖了一叠厚厚的尘土。原本清秀的微型车变成了拖拉机。白天，父亲的身影总是出没在工地的碎石堆里，他和泥瓦匠们同吃同住，夜里，父亲就蜷伏在车里或未竣工的新房中，月光和水泥伴着他度过了一个个夜晚------终于，新房建成了，我想，房屋上的每一片瓦都是父亲摸过的，每一根梁都是父亲扛过的，这座小楼房，是父亲用小车“拖”出来的。

新家建成了，小院也初具规模，但这里只是瓦砾的和泥浆的天下。我曾经听妈妈一次次地嘀咕：“要是在围墙边盖一座烤火房，里面生个炉子，冬天就不用愁了……墙角边栽几丛花草，田地里种几棵果树，那也很好呀……”父亲也笑着点了点头：“是呀，是该这样!”起先，我只认为这是父亲的叹息，蓝图是不能实现的，因为父亲毕竟有了些年纪，实现这些计划，是心有余而力不足了。但是，我没想到，父亲却自己动手自己干了起来：他请人建了一座小房子，又自己亲自设计并雇人打造了一个火炉装进小屋，他买了油漆、刷子，穿上那件灰黑的劳动服，将烤火房的墙壁刷得洁白无瑕。他还亲自修砌了几个花坛，找人联系，移栽进了橘子树、桃树、桂花和葡萄苗儿。经过一两年的改造，小院焕然一新了：台阶整整齐齐，爬山虎布满了围墙，桃树、桂花树长满了绿油油的叶子，花坛里的月季和兰草争奇斗艳。每当夕阳西时，父亲总会漫步在院子里，一口一口吐着烟圈，探着头，眯缝着眼睛为橘子树上的每一片叶子捉虫，他还时不时地微笑着：“明年这个时候，它们会发春梢吧!”

(三)

我曾听母亲给我讲述过一个真实的故事：“有个孩子小时候体弱多病。有一次，孩子不停地咳嗽，孩子他爸万分焦急，便用背篓背着孩子匆匆去医院。但他怕看不见孩子的状况，便将背篓挂在了胸前，这样，孩子他爸便满意地看着入睡的孩子，怀抱着背篓，挺直了腰板，一步步走向医院……”故事中患病的那个小男孩，便是我!那个艰难“抱篓”的爸爸就是我的父亲 !我就是在父亲万般呵护下长大的。他常常提醒我作为男子汉不能躬着腰，走路要昂首挺胸，虽然有时我感到一点厌倦，但我从不会反驳和反感，因为，年过40的父亲，总是那样堂堂正正，走起路来身子也是笔直，我没有理由不信服他。每当父亲拿起我的成绩单时 ，也总是锁紧眉头，发出一声轻叹：“嗨，要是理科再多捞10分，该多好啊!”

父亲爱打篮球，我也一样。每逢假期，我便会和父亲一道打篮球。球场上，父亲紧跟着我，教我如何运球，还告诉我：“传球别犹豫，投篮要有力，过人要注意步伐……

” 在父亲的一声声叮嘱中，我长大了，球技也高了许多。又是一个双日，我与父亲像往常那样去打球，我们在一起奔跑、跳跃，高兴地笑着。和父亲一次次的擦肩而过中，我听到了他 沉沉的喘息声，而我，却不知疲倦地运着球。“儿子比老子要灵活了!”场外传来一位看客的声音。爸爸听见后，微微笑了笑用手叉着腰停了下来，而我却愕然了。父亲在以他丰富的经验来引导我，激励我不断前行，随着时间的推移，我从他身上学到了不少的技艺，水平也渐渐高了。必定有一天，我的球技会超过他，到那时，当他把所有的技艺都交给了我，他会不再教 我打球，但他依旧会 用期望的目光注望我，用开心的笑伴着我……想到这里，我的视线模糊了。

岁月掠过了父亲的脸，他的额头上显露出了深深浅浅的皱纹，两鬓也多了几丝白发。如今的我，却不希望生日的到来，因为，当我开心地过完一个生日，就意味着父亲又老一岁，我希望时间能冻结，希望父亲能永远地教我打篮球，让他教会我如何才能成为一个有着强烈责任感的男人，让他教会我怎样才能拥有博大的胸怀，自强不息!教会我广泛的技艺，让我能像他那样爱得深沉，爱得彻底，爱得不声不息……

父亲埋下了一坛酒，埋下了对我的希望。现在，他在等待，等待着一份醇香。我相信，一定会有那么一天，我会和父亲一道将酒坛高高举起，抹去尘土，让浓香永远萦绕着我和父亲!

Long long ago, many families had three or four children. They couldnt look after everyone well, so the children must do everything by themselves. They were too poor to go to school. Some of them liked learning, but they had to go to find jobs to make money. Since they were children, they could do lots of difficult things like their parents. Sometimes they even did better than them!

But now, many families have only one child and they regard their child as a pearl. They did everything for the children. Every day, when the child gets up, their parents help him to make the room clean. They also get breakfast ready for their child. When the child is free, they can sleep or do other things, but they neednt do any housework. So many children cant cook; wash their clothes, some dont even know how to clean the floor. That’s too bad.

In the future, many families will have computers. We can work on the computer instead of going out to do everything. The children also can learn on the computers, so they dont need to move! After a long time, well become fatter and fatter. We wont be able to do anything by ourselves!

So, which way is good for us? We must think more.

在将来，许多家庭拥有电脑。我们可以在电脑上工作，而不是去做每一件事。孩子们也可以在电脑上学习，所以他们不需要走动!长时间以后，我们会变得越来越胖。我们做不了任何事情!

所以，什么样的方式对我们是好的?我们必须想得更多的。

唉!这个学期刚刚开学，又生病了，太讨厌了。这次又要麻烦爸妈和奶奶了。我实在是太愧疚了。

有一次，奶奶做面条给我吃，我就吃了一口，就吐了，最后我喝了一口汤，我想原本应该喝了一口汤，不会吐的。可是刚下肚没多久，就吐了。

奶奶爸妈，都瞬间坐立不安。爸爸说不能再耗了：“赶快去看医生吧”。

第二天，爸爸就带我去医院。医生问我说：“你哪里不舒服”。我说：“我总感觉肠子里有什么东西”。医生说：“你们去看一下肠镜吧”。我们去了专门做肠镜的地方，做了肠镜。医生说：“她的肠子好像被什么东西给堵住了”。说完话。医生带我去打吊针。打完吊针了以后。我和爸爸就回家了。

又一天过去了，奇怪，我怎么感觉昨天打完吊针以后，今天好多了。爸爸问我：“好些没”。我说：“好些了。爸爸又说：“今天再休息一天，明天去上学”。我说：“好的”。可是我心里可没想，如果回到学校我要有好多作业要补了。真是太倒霉了。唉!

It was terrible.We cant describle the scene what we saw with any words.thousands of people were injured even died. And thousands of children became such unlucky ones who lost fathers or mothers , they longed to have families to continue their lives .I am sympathetic to their fate ! But I believed that we can fight against the fate and change it .For example ,there many people keeping living without food or water for about 100 hours during the earthquake!

What an unbelievable thing it is !their great spirits showed the powerful life vitality of humans!However,they must keep fighting against the death .Many schools were destroyed and there were many students and teachers who left us forever.Sadness,hoplessness and different kinds of danger spreaded out here and there !

But ,fortunately ,love is around us :the Communist party helps us ,the army helps us ,the people all over the world help us .They offer us with money ,goods ,love and so on !For example ,li lian ji, a warm-hearted man ,offered us with 20 million yuan !

We all like to make friends, we live in a society that we need to communicate with others. Without a friend, one can never express his emotions, no one share his sorrow and happiness. Making friends balances ones emotions, you can talk to friends any things, like secret, which you dont want to share with our parents. But here is the fact that not everyone is suitable to be friend, we need to obey the rules. First, the guy must be honest. Honesty is the base of the being friends, to be frank and then to be close. Second, there is something common in you two. The same interest always brings two hearts close, the more something in common, the better, thus he will be your best friends, you can share things with him. Making friends is a big deal, cause if you make the wrong one, you may get the negative thing from him.

I like traveling on foot With my brother in holidays.

At the very beginning, I felt very tired. I got out of breath so easily.Then my brother started to tell me some interesting stories.We walked and walked while he didnt stop telling stories. We walked a long way without knowing.

Then my brother asked me, "Are you still feeling tired?" The feelings of tiredness were already out of my mind.

背影，神秘而深沉。背影，给人的感觉往往不同。朱自清的《背影》写出了伟大的父爱，给人以深沉，无法言喻的父爱。而我的《背影》又将演绎出什么不同于朱自清的神秘的感受呢？人生的漫漫长途，就像一条长长的跑道。我们在这个跑道上坚持不懈的奔跑，不松懈，不放松。而那些放松，松懈的人就是我们生活中的弱者。那些坚持不解，不放松的就会成为生活中的强者。

那些强者，他们懂得奋斗，他们懂得留给对方一个背影。留个对方一个深深的背影。而那些松懈的弱者，只有观赏别人的背影。那些背影很坚强！学习中，我们应该有一个坚定的目标。

I am a middle school student. I am active. I like going out to play.

The wind gently murmured,puffed and sometimes sighed like a summer breeze lifting the leaves along the livelong night.The cat was curling up quiet in her bed.The mouse was sleeping carefree in his gallery.The dog was lying swwet on the sofa.Even the earth itself was sleeping in tranquility,exept that some house door faintly creaked upon its hinge,telling us a remote inward warmth.Nature was at her midnight work with feathery flakes whirling down in the wind,as if she was showering her silvery seeds over the fields.

Finally I woke up.The floor creaked under my feet as I moved towards the window.The snow as warm as cotton was lying calmly upon the window sill and the stillness of the morning was extremely impressive.

The roofs were standing under their snow caps,while the eaves were wearing their glittering ornaments.The trees raised white arms to the sky on every side,and where there was a wall,there were some fantastic forms of snow stretching exhilarated in the dim landscape,as if Nature had carved her fresh desighs by night as models for mans art.

Silently,I opened the door and stepped outside to face the cutting air.The moon had already lost some of its glow and the land was bathed in a dull mist.A lurid light in the east proclaimed the approach of day while the weatern landscape was bleak with some spooky stillness like a wizard kingdom.What you could only hear was the creepy sounds,seemingly out of the hell----the barking of dogs,the hammering of blacksmith,the lowing of cows and the crying of pigs under the butchers knife.

Gradually,the lurid light darkened and spread across the west.Every flower,every tree and

every weed were bathed in the sunshine.Suddenly,it turned out that all the sounds were not for any melancholy they suggested,but for their twilight bustle which was too solemn and mysterious for me.

I moved om,treading briskly along the road,the dry and crisped snow crunching under my feet.

I always feel tired after eight classes a day, so my dream school starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. There are three lessons in the morning and two in the afternoon. We can choose our favorite lessons to learn. We can spend more time doing some outside reading. The students do after-school activities for one and a half hours every day. We needn’t do a lot of homework. We are all happy to stay at school.

Besides that, my dream school looks like a big garden. There are many kinds of flowers around the modern buildings. Sweet perfumes are diffused all around. If I want to have a rest, I can lie on the grass, listen to music by the lake or look out at the flowers from the classroom windows.

The teachers here are kind and helpful. They are not only our teachers but also our good friends. The students are polite and friendly. We all know how to keep our school clean and tidy. There is no litter around the campus.

I love my dream school. We will grow up to be happier there.

In current society, people have known the importance of keeping healthy and good life habit. In the past, people ate three meals at home, and they ate more vegetables and less meat and fish. They were very strong and seldom went to see doctors.

Now life is better, people eat more meat, fish, eggs and other food with more fat. They often go out for good meals with their families and friends. But they get easy to be ill, Why?

I think more meat and fish, less exercise are bad for health. Good rest, less meat and fish, more vegetables and enough exercise are good for health. So I exercise every day. My eating habits are pretty good. I eat a lot of vegetables. I eat fruit and drink milk every day. I drink a cup of water 15 minutes before each meal and eat much vegetables and fruit. Of course, I love junk food, too, and I eat it once a week. And I sleep nine hours every day.

The better we get into good eating habits, the happier our life becomes

Some people feel like they are always busy doing something all day long, but they still have a lot of things to do. It seems that the time is never enough. How can we spend our time effectively? Well, in my humble opinion, there are several tips that we can use.

First of all, we should make a list about the things we need to do today. The chef thing to remember is to do the things which are extremely critical first. Second, be concentrated. For the people, they may lack of self-control, they are easily got distracted by other things, thus its important for them to do the things according to the list. Dont do other things unless you have finish your job. Last but not least, wake up earlier in the morning. Youll find you have more time to do the things you want.

In a word, we should have a plan about the things we are going to do. Only in this way we can use time effectively.

有些人感觉他们整天都忙个不停，但是他们还是有好多事情要做。看起来时间永远不够用。我们怎样才能合理的利用时间呢?在我看来，有几点建议可供大家参考。

首先，我们应该为自己今天要做的事情列一张表。最重要的是要记住先做那些紧急的事情。其次，要专心。对于年轻人来说，他们也许缺乏自控能力，很容易被其他事情分神。因此，按照单子做事情非常重要。做不完列表上的事，就不做其他的闲事。最后，早上起得早一点。你会发现你能有更多的时间来做你想做的事。

一句话，我们应该对将要做的事情写个计划。只有这样，我们才能合理的利用时间。
