My Favourite Season

How is everything? I’m glad to tell you something about my favourite season——spring.

Spring comes to Canada in March. The weather is warm and sunny. People feel comfortable. But sometimes the temperature can be as low as -15℃ and it even snows. We won’t see flowers until May or June! In this season, we can play “snow” soccer. On weekends, we can also have a field trip to the countryside and make syrup. There are plenty of fun activities in spring.

I am looking forward to the coming of spring. It’s a season full of hope.

Let me tell you what I will be when I grow up. I think languages are the most important tools of communication among people. Each country＇s languages, which are different, are interesting. So I want to be a translator. Since I was a child, I have learned many kinds of languages. I like to make friends with people from other countries. If I can speak a lot of languages, I will have a lot of friends. I don＇t think being a translator is very easy. It must be very hard. But I want to try! So I＇m studying English now. liu hua is my best friend. she is less tall than i, but of stronger constitution. she looks more like a boy than a girl and is strong willed. at college, we spent a lot of time together reading, talking,singing and laughing. whenever we were together we feel happy and carefree.

we have much in common regarding ow education, background, interests and hobbies. we often help each other andlearn from each other. once,when she was in the hospital for an operation on her appendix, i took care of her in every way possible, which made xiang song (the young teacher who shared the ward with her) envy our friendship. when i was preparing for put graduate exams, she did the cooking and urged others to help me. after graduation we parted. she went to argentine. i was still in ustc. we promised to meet in the united states. so we both worked hard at our lessons.

true friendship lasts a long time. hard work is rewarding and three years later, we me again. true to our word, we met at the place where we promised to see each other the united states of america. i received an asslstantship in ncsu and she earned enough money in argentine to support herself and work her way through college.
