Thanks for your last letter. Im so glad that you have been able (at last! ) to arrange a holiday in Australia. As I fear I wont be able to meet you at the airport when you arrive, nor will I be able to be home until later in the afternoon, so here are some instructions and suggestions. There is a bus from the airport to the city. It is much cheaper than a cab. Take the bus to the city and ask to get off at Town Hall railway station. To get to my place in the eastern suburbs you have three options. You can either take a cab, a bus or the train. I suggest you take the train, since the airport bus will leave you right at the station. Get off at Cliff Station. From there you can either walk to my place (about ten minutes) or take a taxi. Probably you should take a taxi as you will have luggage.

When you arrive at my flat, ring the intercom for Flat 2. My friend Lillian will be at home and she will open the front door for you and let you into my flat. Presumably you will be tired and want to sleep. But if you feel like some exercise after that long flight, you could stroll down to Cooper Park, which is only ten minutes away ? you can see it from the window. My teacher gave me an assignment "experience life" last week. I had been thinking how to finish it because I had never done any thing by myself before.

I took the empty barrel and went towards the well outside the yard. It snowed yesterday, so the alley was very slippery. A layer of thickice was frozen on the platform of the well. I was frightened by the sight, but I gathered my courage to walk towards it.

The alley was so slippery that I walked with difficultly. Suddenly, I slipped and fell down, water in the barrel totally poured down on the ground. I stepped on the platform carefully. After standing steadily and squatting down slowly, I hooked the barrel at the end of the rope and put the rope down slowly. I made an effort to drag the barrel up after it was filled with water. I was very careful because it was easy to slip and fall. Then, I carried the barrel of water and returned to my house. My figners were frozen stiff. I realized my effort was in vain. I hated myself.

I failed to finish the assignment but I did experience life through a trifle which seemed easy but difficult to do well. Such was my first experience of life.

That day, the weather was so bad. When school was over, it began to rain. All of us looked very worried, so our teacher let us go home at once.

When I went out of the school gate, I saw my father standing there. I went to him at once. My father had a raincoat, because hed just had a meeting and he went to school as soon as the meeting finished, so he had no time to return home. 我外婆家附近有一条小河，以前清澈见底，我的姐姐、哥哥小时候常常在小河里游泳，和他们的小伙伴们在水中嬉戏，叔叔、阿姨们也常常在这小河中洗衣服、洗菜，而如今，小河旁建造了一个化工厂，把生产的废水排放到河里，原本那清澈见底的小河渐渐变成了黑黑的散发着怪味的小河。大人们再也不去小河洗衣服洗菜了，小伙伴们也再也不去河里嬉戏!

我多么怀念那条清澈见底的小河啊!我想：珍惜资源，爱护环境，这些都是功在当代、力及千秋的大事啊!如果我们在这样污染水，那我们可以用的水资源就会越来越少，我们破坏环境，就是破坏我们生存的条件。

让我们携起手来，共同保护环境，不要让淡水变成污水，保护环境，是我们共同的责任!

As we can know,health is very important,but how to keep fit?

First,you should have a balancet diet.For example,you can eat less junk food and more vegetables.Next,doing sports is good for our health.If you like playing basketball,you can play it with your classmates after school.If you like riding bikes,please ride a bike to school every morning.Then,many students are stressed out all the day.So they should learn to relax themselves.Last,learning to communicate with qther people is very important,so you must learn it.
