this worry is fairly unnecessary. why ? one reason lies that christmas only affects christians，college students and joint-venture (合资企业)workers. another reason is that christmas is mostly celebrated in cities. few people in countryside show extreme interest in this exotic(带有异国情调的) festival. by contrast，the spring festival is the most influential traditional festival in every family.

i think，it is natural that with increasing exchanges with the west，a lot of western holidays have been gradually introduced into china. for us chinese we should never neglect or even discard our own traditional festivals. for centuries chinese have observed this traditional holiday to welcome the beginning of a new year. and we will treasure the spring festival forever.

My school is big and beautiful. It is in my hometown. There are many flowers, trees and grass there. There is a track on the playground, too.

Im in Class 3, Grade 6. In my school, every grade has three classes. There are seven lessons every day. We must get up at 5:30, because our school bus comes at 6:30. We get to school probably at 6:55. Our class begins at 7:50. We eat lunch at school at 12:00. We finish school at 3:30. So we go home very early. After school, I do my homework at home. 我的英语老师名叫朱祥慧。听这名字,以为是女的,其实是男的。朱老师长得丑,而且不是一般的丑。俗话说得好:人不可貌相,海水不可斗量。我们以貌取人就大错特错了。他虽然丑,但是英语过了八级呢!厉害吧!

更厉害的还是上他的课呢。他的课,每一节都不同寻常。特别是班上那些调皮捣蛋的学生,简直就是小心翼翼、提心吊胆了。对他们来说,上英语课,应该如同下地狱一般痛苦吧。为什么呢?因为一不小心就有“坠入深谷的危险”——接受“严刑拷打”的考验。“拷打”的过程中,班里有些女生就拍手叫好。用英语老师的话来说,那就是:“上英语课有仇的报仇,有冤的申冤。如果这些男生一而再、再而三地欺负女生,找我就可以了!”这一番话可是说到女生的心窝子里了。

我最佩服英语老师的“双棍打”。左右手都得打,经过老师的一阵“狂打”,你的手非得疼上半节课。其次就是“蹲板凳”——把凳子抽出来,然后你坐在空气中,姿势还必须就像坐在板凳上的一样。20分钟下来,你就挥汗如雨了!这两招还都不算狠,最狠的一招是“笑脸”。英语老师会拍着你的肩膀,笑着对你说一番话,这时,他就会露出那一口不齐整的大牙,令你“毛骨悚然”。

当然也有女生挨揍的时候。前两招我就都领教过,第三招还没“享受”过,我现在是没有那个“荣幸”了。所以,我觉得一句话非常适合形容英语课,那就是:不经历风雨,怎能见彩虹。

“严师出高徒”,我们班的英语成绩就不用说了,每次考试都稳拿第一。英语老师常常用武力,我们班同学居然都喜欢他,在学校组织的“最受欢迎的老师”的评选中,英语老师竟然位居榜首。

When I was in Grade 8, I read the book Robinson Crusoe.

The main character is Robinson. When he was a child, he liked sailing very much. But his father didnt agree with him. Finally, when he was a young man, his fathers friends wanted to take his fathers boat. And he went with them. Unluckily, the boat ran up on a rock and this made a lot of sailors and passengers die but Robinson was alive! He went on a small land. There was nobody, no water or food. You could imagine that it was too hard to live. However, he put up a tent and got things from the broken boat. As the months went by, Robinson learnt to make bread by himself. Then he found some groups of sheep. They were trained and eaten by Robinson. Twenty years later, there was a boat coming from England and Robinson was saved.

The writer of this book is Daniel Defoe. Robinson was a great miracle. He achieved numerous Impossible things. Robinson Crusoe was immortal novel, because it showed us a courageous, brave, confidence. A vanquish able nature, a hero who exploited nature.

There is no perfect life in the world. But we can change our fate. If we have confidence and work hard, we absolutely will be victorious and the most important thing is Never give up! I believe that nothing is impossible!

Chinese Lunar New Year,or Spring Festival falls on January 1st according to the lunar calendar,usually around the late January or early February.As the start of spring as well as a new year,it is the most important celebration of the year.Each family get reunited during the New Year.On the Eve,there is a big dinner for the family when each member return to get together.

The biggest New Years party is held on CCTV.Hundreds of people gather there,meanwhile millions of others all over the country were sitting in front of the screen to watch excellent performances for more than four hours continuously.The bell strike twelve at midnight to welcome the coming of the New Year or Spring.People start to set off firecraks and say "Happy New Year" to each other.

The annual New Year again, really happy, because you can eat dinner with the family also can get lucky money, usually at home cant to have dinner with your grandparents, now finally can eat together, I feel I am the happiest person in the world.

最后一天，我们去外婆家拜年，和外公外婆一起吃饭，吃完饭后，外婆发给我们红包，我们开心的跟外婆说：”谢谢外婆外婆听了很开心，我们也很开心。”

以上是我的快乐新年假期，我觉得很开心，很好玩，下次一定要请爸爸安排更好玩的行程。

The Spring Festival， Chinese Happy New Year，is the most important festival for all of us. All family members get together on Happy New YearEve to have a big meal.At the same time， everyone celebrates to each other.At about 12 oclock，some parents and children light crackers.The whole sky is lighted brightly. We may watch the fireworks excitedly.How busy it is!

On the first early moring of one year， many senior citizen get up early and they stick the reversed Fu or hang some couplets on the front door. Some houses windows are sticked on red paper cutlings.

The Chinese Happy New Year lasts fifteen days. So during the fifteen days， we always visit our relatives from door to door. At that time， children are the happiest because they can get many red packets form their parents，grandparents， uncles， aunts and so on. The last day of the Chinese Happy New Year is another festival. It names the Lantern Festival.

So the Chinese Happy New Year comes to the end.

2017年的春节快要来了，盼望着的同时，我禁不住回想去年的春节。

“砰——砰”天空中烟花接二连三地开放着，五颜六色漂亮极了!

“春节到啦!”我和弟弟欢呼雀跃着，到了外婆家，我和小弟弟急匆匆地跑到外婆更前，“恭喜发财，红包拿来!”我和弟弟异口同声地说着。说完，外婆拿出两个红彤彤的大红包赏给了我们。我俩高兴的一蹦三尺高。

吃年夜饭了大家都围在一起可开心了，外公还祝我和小弟弟：“好好学习，天天向上，将来能够考上名牌大学。”我们也祝外公外婆：“身体健康，万事如意。”说完外公举杯和我们碰了碰。大家开心地合不拢嘴。

晚上我们又买了一些五颜六色的烟花，有飞碟形的，有宝塔形的，还有一些说也说不出来的形状，我连忙拿飞碟形的出来让爸爸放，点燃以后飞碟像着了魔似的疯狂的旋转着，整个飞碟变成了绿色，周围还时不时的冒出火花。真是太美了。

好期待今年的春节，我还要在新的一年里好好学习。更上一层楼。

再说一说我的妈妈吧!她干活可是能手，一天的工夫就能把我们家打扫得一干二净。我上学的时候，我妈妈经常五点多就起床，把我叫起来的时候，香喷喷的饭已经做好了。她还经常帮我复习(功课)，我很爱她。

最后再说说我吧!我不(想)看书(的时候)说什么也不看，拿起书就放不下。有时候我一看书看到(晚上)十点，直到眼睛睁不开了才睡觉。

我们家是一个幸福的家庭。我很爱我的爸爸妈妈。

过年了!过年了!家家户户忙着贴春联，剃头发，做年夜饭……要做的事情太多了，而且“规矩”太多了!有些习俗还很怪，无奈之下，我就去问正在贴春联的妈妈。

我看见妈妈将“福”字倒着贴，我固然知道为什么要倒着贴，将‘福’字倒着贴是一种习俗，‘福’倒贴说明‘福’倒(到)了!但我仍然问道：“过年有什么习俗和规矩啊?”妈妈停下手中的活，耐心地给我谈起来。

原来，以前过年还有一种放鞭炮的习俗，来源于“年兽”的故事。很久以前有一只“年兽”，长期居住深海底，到了除夕就跃出海面到处作恶。有一年一个老人用放炮，穿红衣，贴红春联的方法驱赶走“年兽”，这才得以平静，此后这个方法就流传开来。但是现在广州禁止燃放烟花爆竹，所以我们就不再进行这个活动了。

除夕这一天对我国来说是极为重要的。这天晚上，我们全家准备除旧迎新，吃团年饭。

吃年夜饭，是春节家家户户最热闹愉快的时候。大年夜.丰盛的年菜摆满一桌 ，全家团聚，围坐桌旁，共吃团圆饭。人们既是享受满桌的佳肴，也是享受那份快乐的气氛，桌上有鸡、鹅、烧肉等等，一般少不了两样东西，一是火锅，一是鱼。火锅热气腾腾，说明红红火火;“鱼”和“余”谐音，喻意“年年有余”。最后一道甜食，祝福往后的日子甜甜蜜蜜。

今天我的收获太大了，知道了很多过年习俗的知识，不过我觉得有点迷信，但这又仿佛是一种乐趣，只要快乐就好，何必迷信不迷信?更何况这是传统的习俗，宁可信其有不可信其无啊!

在我的身边，有许许多多令我感动的人，其中最让我感动的莫不过是我的英语老师Miss Liang。

Miss Liang 是我的英语老师，为什么说她感动人呢，是因为她对我们的教学工作进行得无微不至。每天早上一来到学校，她都微笑着对我打招呼。有的同学请假缺课了，她总是待他回来后帮他认真地补 上落下的课。还有的同学做了些错事，她都会叫他到跟前，耐心地批评指正。在同学的面前，她显得格外亲切，好似她是我们母亲一样，我们都非常喜欢她，喜欢她讲课时流利的语言，喜欢她和同学们 交流时亲切的眼神，更喜欢她对教学无微不至的优良品质。

记得一节英语课上，和往常一样，Miss Liang 提着录音机走进教室，所不同的是，她好像有点疲惫的样子，而且没有立即叫大家上课，而是在黑板上写道：非常抱歉！顿时，全班立即”热闹“起来了， 所有同学都窃窃私语，不知道发生了什么事：Miss Liang 究竟怎么了？为什么写下这些字？是不是生病了？老师没管我们，咳了几声，在黑板上写下了一些这节课要学的英语单词，然后又咳了几声，吃 力地说：”上课！“我听见她沙哑的嗓音，才知道，原来Miss Liang 嗓子哑了！同学们都大为吃惊，Miss Liang平时嗓音动听，今天怎么突然哑了，应该是天天上课累的吧。

老师叫了一个帮手，让他读她书上写的句子，自己也在旁边指导着，每次说话都很辛苦，有时非常沙哑，有时甚至发不出声音，要咳几下才能继续。我听见Miss Liang 那沙哑的声音，恨不得举起手来， 大声说道：”Miss Liang，我来帮您讲！“

直到下课，Miss Liang那沙哑的嗓音才慢慢离开了我们耳际……

从这件事中，我体会到了Miss Liang 教学的一丝不苟，舍己为人，如果没有这些品德，她可能会在课上随便乱讲应付了事，也可能一点小咳嗽就不上课。可Miss Liang 不是这样，她为了教学呕心沥 血的精神彻底感动了我们！

We will look at some of the legends behind Chinese new year and how to celebrate it. Here in the US and Chinese across the world.

The Chinese have specific way to celebrate their new year. If you walk down the street in Chinatown during Chinese New Year, you see a variety of ancient traditions such as red banners, firecrackers and lion dance performances, streets are filled with lively celebration.

However, legend has said that the new year has not always been a time of festivity. An Asian Chinese story told a chilly start to this festive holiday, it begins with an ancient Chinese beast called Nian.

Every New Year Nian would rise from swelling in the sea to ravage Chinese village in livestock and hurting people. The villages soon found out from a wise gray-haired old man that the only way to scare the beast away was to set off firecrackers and light lamps and to hang red banners on each door. As the story goes, this was the beginning of a tradition that would last thousands of years.

So this story leads to the creation of many of other traditions for celebrating Chinese New Year. lets take a look at some of these traditions.

Do you know about Spring Festival?It is a Chinese traditional Festival and we celebrated it by using many ways.

In the Chinese lunar calendar which is another calendar we used and it was from the old China.Spring Festival is the 1st day in the lunar calendar.The Spring Festival is differnet for every year is because the lunar calendar.We play fireworks,watch special TV programs and have a delicious dinner with our family.In the day of Spring Festival,we must come back to our family to meet our parents and grandparents,the school will also have a holiday that make sure we can celebrated it.If we have some problems that we could not come back,we should ring to our family.For the tradition,we eat damplings,the people who in the south of China will eat rice dumpings,during the day before Spring Festival,which is the most improtant day,because it is the last day for the year behind and the next year is comming.The firework will be too noise that we couldnt hear each others voice.It is very different to the New Year from the other western country.

In conclusion,it is a very improtant day for all Chinese people.

The Spring Festival, the most jubilant and important festival in China, is observed by most Chinese people at home and abroad. Our hometown is not an exception.

Similar with other places in china, we prepare for the festival about half a month before. With the lunar New Year approaching, the red lanterns are hung up along the main streets, making the ancient town filled with the festival atmosphere. While people clean up their houses, decorate it with traditional decorations such as Chinese knots and paper cutting. Each family pastes up Spring Festival couplets to convey their best wishes for the coming year.

Every Spring Festival I spent in Jianhu, why? This is because I was born in Jianhu, there is my grandpas grandmother, uncle aunt and brother, the Spring Festival is one family reunion, so my father and mother are in Jianhu new year.

二十三一过去，就更忙了，家家户户都要把家里大扫除一次;还要把过年吃的食物都准备充足!

在除夕这天，更是热闹的不得了。家家户户都在准备过年用的东西!人们都穿上了新衣，门外贴着福字，有正有倒，倒的福字意味着：福到了!在这一天家家户户都有守岁的习俗，鞭炮声总在耳边响起，这才是过年的气氛嘛_这么的热闹!

等到了正月初一那天_就是人们所说的春节。在那天，人们都去拜年了，给亲戚，给朋友……

在元宵节那天，又是春节中的一个重要节日!在那天，人们都在叫家里吃元宵呢!一家人其乐融融……

烟花，是小孩子们春节最爱玩的。我喜欢那种没有响声的“电光火花”，点燃后拿在手里，多像魔术师手里的魔法棒啊！“电光火花”喷出的火花就如同一个个顽皮的小精灵，在空中跳跃着，嬉戏着。不过，那些调皮地男孩子可不喜欢“电光火花”，他们喜欢声音响亮、刺激的“甩炮”。他们不时地从兜里掏出一只，用力往地上一甩，“啪”地一声大响。如果你正好从那儿经过，肯定会吓得一个激灵，那些“小调皮们”则哈哈大笑。当然，孩子们最喜欢的还是大礼花炮。当礼花炮点燃，各种各样的图案，五彩缤纷的颜色就会呈现在空中。有的礼花炮冲上天空如同花蝴蝶般纷纷扬扬洒落下来；有的礼花炮冲上天变成牡丹花、菊花，犹如花仙子在空中翩翩起舞；还有的礼花炮冲上天后变成大大的“笑脸”，仿佛在向大家说：“新年快乐！”春节的味道就在这烟花中绽放开来。

正月初一早晨，人们穿上新衣，这时是小孩子们最开心的时刻因为这时要向爷爷奶奶爸爸妈妈要压岁钱了，收完了压岁钱，就一起出去拜年，到那家串串，到那家走走，拜完之后就在家里等待别人来拜年。

过完春节后的几天更不能闲着了，还要到别的亲戚家这样子来回走动，晚上还要请在村子里的长辈吃饭。初二晚上包好水饺，凌晨四五点钟去给死去的亲人上坟。春节后的几天晚上村里开着路灯，小孩子们都出去放各种礼花。
