The Spring Festival is very important to Chinese people. In the past, people could not often have meat, rice or other delicious food. They could only eat these during the Spring festival. So every year they hoped that the Spring Festival would come soon. Now, although peoples life is much better, and we can eat the delicious foods everyday. People still like the festival. Because most people can have a long holiday, and we are free to go on a trip or visit our friends or have parties with our family. In the evenings, we can have a big meal in the restaurant or stay at home with family and watch the TV programmes. I like the Spring Festival very much. How wonderful the Spring Festival is!

春节是一年的开始，到处呈现一派喜气洋洋的景象。

当除夕午夜交正子時，新年的大钟敲响了“咚咚咚……”顿時，整个大地上空，烟花炮竹声，响彻云霄。“红、橙、黄、绿、蓝、紫”不约而同地出现在天空。各种颜色交织在一起，令人眼花缭乱。仔细看，有的像划过天空的流星，有的像绿色的珍珠伞，有的像挂满银花的火树，有的像一个花球含苞欲放……把整个天空照得通明。我和孩子们一起活蹦乱跳地去放烟花。这時，屋内是通明的灯火，屋前是灿烂的火花，屋外是震耳欲聋的响声。我们放烟花放到天亮。正玩得高兴時，妈妈叫我吃汤圆，寓意是“像一个大汤圆快快乐乐地滚年，转大运”。

吃完汤圆，我就去拜年，我还领了许多红包呢！

晚上，我们去逛花街，猜灯谜。只见街上张灯结彩，到处是人的海洋，到处是花的海洋；到处是灯的海洋。火树勾画去城市的轮廓，既清楚又朦胧。近看，那一棵棵树上面缀满了星星般的小灯，犹如开满了一排排金色的、橙色的、银色的、红色的……小花。远望，又像一团火焰燃烧在夜色的城市。

最漂亮的是湖面是各色的小灯倒映在湖里，像一条条美丽的彩带。微风吹过，手里泛起涟漪。美丽的彩带便飘飘荡荡，像梦幻般一样。一群群小朋友，身穿着漂亮的衣服，手里拿着风车，拉着大人的手，高兴地欣赏着美景。

我们一路欣赏，不知不觉走到了大广场，只见广场成了花的海洋，群花中的佼佼者当然要数菊花了。我走进菊花园，真令人目不暇接，有红的、白的、黄的，还有黑里透红的，白里掺黄的。菊花不仅姿态各色，还是形态各异的。有的含苞欲放，有的羞羞答答，有的三完成群，有的一枝独秀。真是千姿百态，惹人喜爱。人们边欣赏，边拍照。

啊！春节好一派喜庆祥和的日子！

崇阳的春节真是多姿多彩呀！

习俗有这些：如年23晚上，在灶神前插上清香3根，糖果20余颗，水果3两只，贿赂一下关系全家吉祥的老灶神；据说，当晚小孩子还得吃粑粑（掺有童子尿），说是吃了后小孩子就不会再尿床了~~在被老爸老妈欺骗的情况下，俺也极可能吃过…

年26、27，一般要杀猪，再打些年货（无非是买些瓜子、水果、鞭炮之类的玩意，哄哄老老少少的孩子们）；

年28、29，就要家家户户打扫清洁卫生了，所有的旮旮旯旯都得好好清洁一次；再酿一些豆腐；

年30，早上杀鸡，富有的杀了7、8只，穷人也会杀上1、2只；快12点的时候，同宗的几户人家便集中在祠堂里，摆上鸡、鱼、猪尾巴（年底吃尾巴）等玩意，开始一年里最大规模、最隆重的祭祖活动，还要请文化人念几十年不变的祭文，其内容无非是什么“求学者早入功门、求福者福如东海、求财者财源广进、求寿者寿比南山”之类的美好愿望，祭完先人，就正式开始过年啦！

年30晚上，吃团年饭，孩子最开心的时刻也要到了，因为父母吃完饭一般会发压岁钱，然后放烟花，磕瓜子，到了午夜12点的时候，老爸便会放上长长的一挂鞭炮，关闭院子的大门，美其名曰“封财门”，“财门”一封，自然不能轻易开启；

年初一，早早起床，洗漱完毕，整个院子的人集合，再在祖宗灵前烧上3支香，然后依次点燃长长的鞭炮，鞭炮一般能燃放10余分钟，（越富有的人家，鞭炮的响声会越持久，长的达半个小时，会在长长的竹竿上绕得密密匝匝的）同时开启除夕夜封掉的“财门”，放完鞭炮，参与者互贺新年，然后回屋吃饭。这景直到大年初六才彻底结束

大年的又一个高潮来临了，元宵上市。这一天，一点也不比新年逊色，家家户户灯火通宵，家家户户都点蜡烛，也全都拿出了自己的玩意拿出来玩。

这就是崇阳的春节，是不是多姿多彩的呢？

on new years eve，our class had a party. the atmosphere was good. it was out of the ordinary from the very begining. the boy student from one bedroom gave an unusual performance. we saw a boy named li xinmin turn off all the lights in a sudden snap. then with three resounding(响亮的) crow of a cock echoing in the hall，the hall was again brightly lit in a snap.

then，the representative of the bedroom zhu guozhang asked us to guess a line of a poem related to the above situation. he added that li xinmin alone was born in the year of the dog and the other three were all born in the year of the chicken. they left us all in confusion. and it was our monitor who was quickwitted(机智的). he shouted our， "the day breaks as the cock crows three times at dawn." the hall after that，they had another item. this time li xinmin was placed in the middle of the circle. while he was standing there，the other three stood around him，each bowing down to him at an angle of 120 degrees. it was an idiom. this time i got it right："the dog stands out among a group of chickens."

My plan of next year

A new year ，a new start，when I stand on the edge of a new year，I can#39;t help thinking about my plan of next year.

Just as the old saying："Well began is the half of the success."So I decide that I should be at work while the others are still relaxing ，and then ，at the beginning ，I#39;m quicker than the others and of course I will get better result than the others.

But ，what I really decide to do is that I must make good of anytime I can spare though it seems impossible. While，I will do my best to live up with what I have planned，and the result will prove it.
