I usually go to school at 7:20 by bike. It only takes me ten minutes to get to the school. We have the morning reading at 7:40 and the classes begin from 8:00. I usually have Chinese, math, English and other subjects. I go home at noon and have a short rest at home. Classes are over at 5:30. I usually play at school for a while and then go home. At night, I usually finish my homework and then watch TV. About 10:00, I go to bed. This is my all day.

There are many traditional festivals in China, such as the childrens day, the national day, the Dragon Boat Festival and the Mid Autumn Festival, but my favorite and most expected is the Spring Festival.

Lets talk about the origin of the Spring Festival. Legend has a monster called "year", the head long antennae, fierce and abnormal. The Spring Festival is coming, the street is very busy! Malone on the road, the flow of water. Not only in the street, but also at home. At home, people eat reunion dinner with relatives coming back from far away, then watch the Spring Festival Gala together, chat together, and my family is no exception. That year, our family and some relatives around the table to eat hot pot, mom and dad ate while chatting. I just sat there quietly enjoying the delicious food. The first day is for the welcoming of the deities of the heavens and earth, officially beginning at midnight. Many people, especially Buddhists, abstain from meat consumption on the first day because it is believed that this will ensure longevity for them. Some consider lighting fires and using knives to be bad luck on New Years Day, so all food to be consumed is cooked the day before. For Buddhists, the first day is also the birthday of Maitreya Bodhisattva (better known as the more familiar Budai Luohan), the Buddha-to-be. People also abstain from killing animals.

Most importantly, the first day of Chinese New Year is a time when families visit the oldest and most senior members of their extended family, usually their parents, grandparents or great-grandparents.

Some families may invite a lion dance troupe as a symbolic ritual to usher in the Lunar New Year as well as to evict bad spirits from the premises. Members of the family who are married also give red packets containing cash to junior members of the family, mostly children and teenagers.

While fireworks and firecrackers are traditionally very popular, some regions have banned them due to concerns over fire hazards, which have resulted in increased number of fires around New Years and challenged municipal fire departments work capacity. For this reason, various city governments (e.g., Hong Kong, and Beijing, for a number of years) issued bans over fireworks and firecrackers in certain premises of the city. As a substitute, large-scale fireworks have been launched by governments in cities like Hong Kong to offer citizens the experience.

Last week, he travelled for business and when he came home, he took out a box

and brought me a nice present. I was so happy. He always remembered to bring me

some surprises. It was a special notebook and I could use it to write

diaries.

The Spring Festival, I think the most happy thing is to set off fireworks on New Years eve.

春节里，我觉得最快乐的事是除夕夜放烟火。

在除夕夜的前一天早上，我和爸爸来到招商场那里卖烟花的地方，买了一大堆烟花，我们吹着欢快地乐曲满载而归了!这天夜里，我兴奋得几乎睡不着觉，心里盼望着：除夕夜快点到来!
