吃过年夜饭后，我们几个小孩急着跑出去放烟火。外面早就是烟花爆竹的海洋了，大大小小、形形色色的烟花“噼噼啪啪”响个不停。我拿出了一大袋各种各样的烟花，有长长的“连环炮”、细细的“窜天老鼠”、会转圈的“蝴蝶王”。我挑了一个三角形的“好日子”，把它放在地上，弟弟胆子很大，抢着去点导火线，我早就飞快地跑到几米外捂着耳朵等着看呢!导火线燃起来了，“噼啪”一声清脆的响声过后，冒出了一团闪亮的小火花，许多五彩缤纷的小星星从火花里跳了出来。慢慢地，火花越来越高，跳出来的星星也越来越多了，真漂亮!

一转眼，到了正月十九，过年就结束了，人们又开始了忙碌的生活。

我站在六楼的阳台上，放眼望去，除夕夜晚的天空格外亮，许多色彩缤纷的烟花在天空中闪亮着，有的时候好像还要把天笼照住似的，常常是这里炸开了，还没等落下就又升起了几个，然后再炸开、再升起……有的烟花以闪电般的速度，十个十个的往上蹿，在空中炸开，倾泻而下，好像在下一场美丽的流星雨，又好似一条大瀑布，还真有点“飞流直下三千尺”的感觉呢!我的心情格外爽朗，这真是“爆竹声声辞旧岁，家家户户迎新春”。

据网上报道显示，人大代表提出高考取消英文科目，赞同人数高达百分之八十二，这一话题也成为当今许多同学的热议，很多人认为：中国人学好国语就行，为何要学习外国的语言。

我认为英语成为我们学生的学习主科有其道理性和针对性的针对学生的发展未来。从对国家发展来看英语占全世界的国家讲的人数虽不是最多的，但却是分布的最广乏于国家的，包括很多的发达国家，中国学习这门语言对走出世界，同其他国家交流沟通发挥了很大的作用，如果取消这门沟通语言之门便少了日后中国发挥国际地位中的作用，众所周知，中国早已加入世界贸易组织，若贸然作出取消英语科目的决定，其进一步从长远地发展眼光看便可想而知。

作为学生，许多人的其他科目优势都能被英语这门科目好多了，但无论如何学好英语对学生的将来只有利大于弊，如果其他都学好只有英语差，对将来是不利的，要想睁大眼睛看世界，就得努力使自己插上翅膀飞出中国面对多样化，缤纷多彩的世界，到一个发达的地区闯出一片天，再把自己的国家发展好。

义务教育阶段时期在小学时便把语文，数学英语，这三门科目定为了主要学习科目，其实英语只要从小学基础打起，便觉得好学，多听，多说，脑海里会自然形成像语文那样会听，会说的一种能力。
