有一回，我在超市买东西，偶然地看到了一个外国人，因为在那之前我从未看到过外国人，所以对她很好奇。金黄色的长发，棕色的眼睛，高挺的鼻子，简直是深深地迷住了我。我那时就一直看着她，当然，我知道这样是很不礼貌的，可是我就是对她充满了好奇心。我很想走过去和她说几句话，可是我又不敢。后来，她好像注意到了我，对我笑了一笑。她这一笑简直是让我欣喜若狂，在那一刻，我就下定决心一定要学好英语，一定要能和外国人流利地交谈。

从此我就经常去找英语老师，向老师了解一些关于外国和英语有关的事。

现在初中了，我还是对英语有浓厚的兴趣。黄老师很亲切，每次看到她，就像是看到老熟人一样。我很喜欢上她的课，有时我都巴不得一整天都上英语课。英语课很轻松，几乎都是洋溢着笑声的。黄老师还能说一口流利的英文，可以完全听懂老外的话，也可以流利地和老外交流，这一点，我特别羡慕黄老师。她是我的偶像，是我的榜样，我要像她看齐（虽然她是我的老师）。

班上很多人觉得我上英语课和外教可很激动，确实，我承认，但这也是我喜欢英语的一种方式。我对英语有一种莫名的喜欢，看到老外，我就像是吃了兴奋一样，就算原本不高兴也会变得很高兴。

上外教课时，我会很认真地听讲，虽然有很多听不懂，老外抽问时，我也都会积极地举手发言，哪怕是回答不了。我也不会觉得丢脸，因为我站起来回答问题，也是给自己的一次锻炼机会，同时也和老外多接触了一次，所以，哪怕是回答不了问题，我也是很开心的。

这个暑假我去看了上海的世博会，我在世博园里大开了眼界，里面有好多的外国人。每看到外国人我都会主动上去邀请他们和我一起拍照。刚开始和老外交流时，我有些害怕，怕自己说不好英语，但是那些热情的外国人个给予了我勇气，让我敢于大声发出邀请，“Can you teke photos with me？”（你能和我一起拍照吗？）当然，在和外国人交涉的时候我也碰过壁，那是在地铁站里，我看到一个外国人，我很开心地看来他一眼，可他却皱着眉头，用不标准的普通话说“不要看我。”这句话让当时的我很是尴尬，因为我从未碰到过这种状况，这次的事，让我注意起对待老外的应有礼节，但这并不影响我对英语的热爱。

“五月五，是端阳。门插艾，香满堂。吃粽子，洒白糖。龙船下水喜洋洋。”这首民谣生动地表达了端午节的主要习俗。

今天早晨，妈妈早早的就起床了，她去了菜市场，买回来一些粽叶、肉、蜜枣、和糯米。妈妈一回到家，先把粽叶用开水烫一下，然后把蜜枣、肉和糯米放在一个锅里，再把一些酱油倒入锅里，紧接着把它们拌在一起，馅便做好了，这些准备工作做好之后，妈妈便开始包粽子了。

只见妈妈不慌不忙的拿起几片粽叶，圈成一个类似圆锥的形状，接着放一些馅在里面，然后再用一片粽叶包起来，最后用一根线扎起来，这样，一个粽子便包好了。我学着妈妈的样子也包起粽子来……我在想粽子包出四个棱角是方便用细线系着挂起来的，怎么这世界上就没有圆粽子呢?经过千辛万苦，我的粽子总算包好了。放到锅里煮的时候，我不停地打开盖子，嘴里还念着：“好了没有、好了没有。”把家里人逗得哈哈大笑。

吃过午饭，我们就去看龙舟赛了。来到比赛场地时，湖边已经人山人海了。等我找到位子时，已经有四条船准备开始比赛了。湖中央有四个赛道，赛道中有四个浮标，谁先拿到浮标上的旗子，谁就是冠军。

比赛开始了。四条船一起冲出了起点。只听一阵锣鼓声，第二道和第三道的船占据了第一和第二的位子。
