Now, some of us students like buying a lot of snacks. They eat a lot even if they were not hungry. If they don’t like the food, or they can’t eat up the food, they will throw it away.

It is really a bad thing. We have wasted lot of food. And at the same time, it is bad for the students’ health.

So boys and girls, let’s change our habit. When we have dinners in restaurants, don’t order too much food. And try to eat up all the food we ordered. If we can’t eat up all of them, just pack them and bring them back home to eat. Please give up the snacks between meals. Encourage your classmates and parents to join us. If you find somebody is throwing away food, just stop them.

端午节是一个正在被我们逐渐遗忘的节日。这和中国不断加速的城市化进程有关。还有着一个共同的原因，就是节日的娱乐化程度不够。中国大多数的传统文化节日，都曾有过它狂欢的面孔，端午也是如此。由于在这一天要给孩子身上挂荷包，以雄黄在小儿额头画“王”驱毒镇邪，带孩子制作弓箭等等，因此端午节也被称为“孩子节”、“娃娃节”，让孩子感受到节日的欢乐气氛，是传承文化最重要的一个环节，可惜大人们对待传统节日，也往往采取快速消费的敷衍态度，没有上一辈的言传身教。

由于纪念屈原说影响广泛，使得端午节顺理成章地成了“爱国主义教育节”。但要想让传统节日在公众生活中占有重要位置，就要深入挖掘它质朴而美好的一面，并赋予它可与现代生活融为一体的活力，吸引全民参与。

很多人表示“端午节，不就是吃粽子纪念屈原吗?”在端午节到来时，多数人在记忆中只剩下吃粽子，端午的一些习俗已经远去。

“其实我们已对传统节日习俗出现了集体失忆症。”民俗学家赵书说，端午节其实是一个大节日，节日内容繁多。原来过节的时间是从五月初一到初五，在少数地区还热闹到五月十三;包括祭祀供“五毒饼”和“玫瑰饼”;用苇叶包裹黄米小枣粽子;家家户户插艾蒿防瘟避灾;身上配戴五彩丝线以祈福增寿;贴葫芦花以避“五毒”;孩童到郊外玩“斗百草”游戏等。赵书认为，民间习俗背后都有着深刻的传统文化的内涵，而今天的人们恰恰忽视了这些。

如何让端午节焕发活力，不能简单放假了事，应和相关的民俗组织一起，搭建营造节日气氛、吸引群众参与的平台。相关组织应围绕所在城市特点，举行一些群体活动，比如赛龙舟，它成为端午节最显眼的标志行为，是因为它具备丰富的娱乐性和参与性。时间上的充足，

Sports do us good in many respects. It goes without saying that taking

exercises can build up our physical strength. In collective sports like

basketball, volleyball, or football, we will learn the importance of

cooperation. While taking part in sports game, we will try our best to win and

arouse ourselves the competitive spirit. Sports can also help us relax after a

period of exhausting work. However, as the saying goes, there are two sides to

everything, and sports is without exception. We may hurt other players or

ourselves if we are not careful enough when participating in sports activities.

Whats more, excessive or severe training can do harm to our health.
