《从外星球来的孩子》这本书，是选自于杨红樱的《笑猫日记》里的其中一本。这本书讲的是笑猫的儿子胖头整天无所事事，他们来到一所宠物特技学校，希望胖头在这里找到自信与心中的光亮。胖头学会了钢琴，可胖头遇见了一个患有孤独症的小男孩，他仿佛是一个外星球来的孩子，胖头走进了这个小男孩，用音乐让他变得快乐，胖头也一直陪在他的身边。

这个故事令我十分感动的地方是胖头把自己的一生都想给了小男孩，他愿意都在孩子的身边，一直陪伴着他让他快乐，同时自己也快乐，他的父母也都赞成他这么做，这样胖头才能放心的永远陪在孩子身边。
